This is not debt consolidation, it's like consumer credit counseling, you are better off filing chapter 13 because that's how new creditors look at these types of companies when they reflect on your credit report when trying to re- establish your credit. I received a pre-approval for consolidation. Spoke with a guy named Tyreke Lewhick, he was quick and a little rude. Just took our personal information and then never called us back. I called back to follow up and nothing. No one ever called me back. It has been 2 weeks. I called the number provided in their website and it was to a call center. I was so skeptical to give him our personal info because it seemed a little shady. And now I feel like he took our info and I have to worry about identity theft now. No one in this company should be trusted. If you receive something in the mail or a phone call, don't respond, even if you feel you're in dyer need and it's the last resort. Pebblestone Financial is a RIP OFF COMPANY. They will bait and switch you. They LIE and CHEAT. They will try to steal from potential customers. I received a fake check/letter from Pebblestone Financial. It said I was "pre-approved" for a loan with an interest rate as low as 3.67%. When I called they took my info and had another person call me back. He said the loan was going to be "48 months of payments of $593 and 0% percent interest and that was it". That totals to a loan amount of $28,464. He then asked if I wanted to proceed. When I asked how they made any money, his tone changed dramatically. I then asked him what the base loan amount was with no reply. He then told me the "loan" conditions were: two payments of $995.00 as a retainer, 16% interest, $89.00 a month processing, $10.75 a month handling. That's $6778 for just the processing fees, not to mention the 16% interest. That would make the loan interest 32% for just the processing fees. Plus, you need to add in the additional 16% interest fee. You do the math. All of these fees are paid first, so all of the interest keeps accruing and nothing goes to the principal. It all goes to interest. BIG TIME RIP OFF. I asked him how do we go from 0% to 16% plus all the other charges. I told them my cards interest were 9-14%. He then raised his voice and said, "I was the one who got me in this mess in the first place and that's why I had to pay so much for the loan". I told him I was not in a mess, and that I just wanted to reduce my monthly payments. He said that the 3.67% interest was for the "pre-approval loan", and that like any other credit card I had to go through the regular approval process". While he was laughing at me, he asked if I understood what "pre" means. He said that the "pre" comes before something" and that they needed to screen me first". I told him that my FICO score is 770 plus, depending on the reporting agency. He told me that "this was the BEST program they had for me and that the other ones were even higher. He then said that they could work with an "outside loan company to help pay off my card debt". As the other reviews say that this is not a debt consolidation loan company, that they just want to push you into a settlement loan and ruin your credit. I know how credit works, that's why I have such a great score. I just wanted to consolidate my cards to a better rate of the 3.67% they told me vs. the 9-14% I already have. Why would I pay someone 32%, plus 16%, plus all the other fees of $6778 they wanted? This place is a huge RIP OFF, AND THEY ARE THIEF'S, CON ARTISTS, AND LIARS. THIS WHOLE SCAM IS BORDERING ON MAJOR FRAUD. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFO. I think the review from Epk B. from 1/29/2018 is a "plant" from Pebblestone. They don't send you a check. It's a fake check and then they ask you to call them. Which starts the whole process mess I just stated. I asked to speak to a manager as the person I was talking to was so rude. He laughed and said "do you really want to speak with a manager" I said yes. He "laughed again and said OK, here he is". Another guy got on the phone and said that I just didn't understand how a loan works and told me I needed to speak to the first guy that called me. I told him that he wasn't the manager as he didn't have the skills to communicate in a professional manner. When he started to talk to me he was laughing the whole time, saying I didn't understand how loans worked. This is an old trick I have heard about before. When you ask for a manger, they just pass you to a friend, not a manager, who then says you have to talk to the first rep you had the problem with. When I told him that this whole thing was a rip off he hung up on me. Both of the people I spoke with were very rude and unprofessional. They did not understand how finance works. Don't get your hopes up as I did. This is most definitely a "bait and switch" tactic. No loan will be offered. Instead, someone from a company know as Finance Solutions will contact you with offers for entering a debt relief program in order to lower your monthly payments. This essentially means that attorneys will get money for negotiating a lower payment, and your credit rating will suffer even more. The people who took my information were super nice and really helpful. They answered my questions. I got a call from a financial consultant less than 24 hours later. Called, a woman asked me a bunch of relevant questions, I have received and paid consolidation loans before and have a 750+ credit score. She wasted a bunch of my time, never heard from her again; I did start receiving a bunch of spam type e-mails. Seems like they gather your info then sell it. read more

Spoke with a guy named Corey Underhill who took my information and came back and told me I fell just short of the qualifications for the loan program and instead wanted me to enroll in a Credit Card Modification program.
