The last time I went to the Livermore location I mentioned that I hope they wouldn't sink to the levels of the other two location I have been in Sabbatus and Brunswick. Well they have. Called ordered a pizza for pick up with other items. Was told they could no longer take CC over phone. Fine I can deal with that. My friend got there to pick up and it was not ready (25-30 min ) was told they did not have the Alfredo sauce . Claimed to have tried calling me several times. Phone was right beside me all the time and no calls came. Third Rusty Lantern location, third messed up service and food. Foupt this will stay here since not the correct location but I had to rant.

So we were in the area of Windsor around lunchtime and we were starving. We stopped at Rideout's…read moremarket. It is a small store hooked with a small restaurant. There were several tables and booths occupied while people were eating. We went to the counter to inquire about the menu. The poor kid was swamped. He was the only one working in the food area. The phone was ringing off the hook and there were several people in front of us. When it was our turn we asked about the pizza sold by the slice. The warming pizza turnstile was empty. The kid immediately said that he just didn't have time to put another pizza in, but would do one right away. He did and the pizza was ready in about 15 minutes. It was a fresh dough pepperoni pizza that was done to perfection. We bought a couple of slices at $2 each. We were so pleased. Each slice had plenty of pepperoni, the sauce and cheese ratio was perfect and it was crispy on the bottom with puffy edges. I wish that we lived closer, I would be ordering more of those pizzas! If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop in and get a slice.

I expected it would be 75 or 85 cents and it would be no problem. Not only did they say no they basically shamed me and said well when you have money come back and buy a water bottle. The lack of caring, respect, and understanding is disheartening. All I asked for was to fill up my cup from a sink and pay the price I would for a soda anywhere else and was treated like the scum of the earth. I would not stop here if I was starving, I would rather push my car 20 miles in the snow barefoot, than stopping at wisscaset quick stop.

Plenty of lobster meat, incredibly fresh, on a toasted roll. Heaven. Take time to poke around this store; although small it seemingly has just about everything you would need to keep your kitchen and pantry well stocked. We rented a cottage just down the road from Wallace's and in addition to our lobster roll feast, we also ordered a couple of pizzas, which were quite good. Also look for the whoopie pies, made locally, on the counter. A simple but wonderful dessert. Everyone working there is nice and welcoming, and the locals you run into are friendly and helpful as well. Love this place.

They also have some hot meals to grab on the go. On my visit, one of their refrigerators was a little run-down and having trouble keeping the drinks cold, but overall the store is well-run and the employees are very friendly.
