The staff was very kind, I got a correct appointment and the office was very nice and neat. They were on time and everything is nice there.

I've been coming to see Dr. Hudson for years and typically have no issues however, today I had the most disgusting encounter with the front desk named Eliana F. As I arrive to check-in for my appointment, Eliana mentions that the type of appointments I have booked won't be covered by insurance and I need to pick one. My response to her was, "Why is she just now telling me at check-in and why didn't anyone call me prior when I've had the appointment booked for over a week." She proceeds to tell me that someone did call me and I was unreachable and they left a voicemail. I explained to her that someone only called to confirm my appointment and never mentioned needing to only select one of the type of appointments booked. As I'm continuing to explain to Eliana, she is over- talking, interrupting me while I'm talking, and making smirking faces. I eventually ask for her name and the name and contact information of her manager. She tries to write down the general email address and phone number to the clinic like I wouldn't be aware. Luckily the manager Aimee was able to come up and speak with me regarding the matter. Aimee was very sweet and apologetic unlike her incompetent and entitled front desk staff. Although, I felt management handled me appropriately, I refused to continue with the appointment. I truly despise of people that work in customer service and lack customer service skills. If you decide to work in a clinic where there are patients who are sick or ill then being able to handle them with care should be your top priority. The front desk at Pearland Physicians would be better office working in a warehouse with boxes and avoiding any customer contact. Under no circumstances will I be returning. read more

Had i saw the reviews prior to my appointment I wouldn't have went. I booked my appointment based strictly based off the race of the doctor which was a huge mistake. I didn't have a primary doctor because I was new to the area & this doctor took me 3-4 days to find. The doctor wasn't a good listener, and a doctors job is to process the information from patients & come up with a diagnosis. So if you're not a good listener it's impossible to be a good doctor. Dr. Wang is also horrible, 50% because of the language barrier & 50% just because he sucks at what he does. I felt like the appointment was more of a cross examination vs being a meeting with someone that works for me. His beside manner is atrocious and he's extremely heavy handed during examinations. I have the theory that only 10% of people that hold any position are good at their jobs & Pearland Physicians is part of the 90% that are horrible. Avoid this place even if you have a job in the same shopping center. Trust me, you'd be better off driving an hour & a half across town to a doctor, than taking 10 steps to make an appointment here. read more

I have been here several times and had poor experiences. Even after sending me for X-rays, they didn't call me with results for over a month, I had already gone somewhere else that took better care of me. Recently went back again, had an X-ray, I have been able to review the images online for several days now and they still have not called me to review the results. read more

I have been to this office several times. They're normally running 45 minutes to an hour late, even when you have one of the earlier appointment times. Most of the visit is conducted by a PA student, which isn't in itself bad but hampers any sense of continuity of care. In addition, the referral system in this office is a joke. I was required to schedule an appointment with their pain specialist for a broken foot, even though the office does not do x-rays or any sort of orthopedic care. Feels like a scam. read more

Had an appointment for 7:45am. I showed up, and there were zero cars. In good faith, I thought they might be closed due to COVID, so I called. The answering service says they open at 8:30am. I decided to return home because I thought it was unprofessional for the office to schedule a doctor's appointment for 45min before they open. This doctors office cannot do doctors referral to a specialist that is required by my insurance. Doctor Hudson is useless as a doctor went in for torn muscles in shoulder and shoulder black and purple and extremely swollen she didn't even look at it. Just said go to orthopedic specialist but took a month for her office to get referral correct to specialist and it looks like will lose shoulder do to blood clots in shoulder that was there over a month when I went to her office. And this office screwed up three different times doing referral I actually had to call insurance company to contact them and tell them how to do referral to get in to see orthopedic specialist to do anything about shoulder. read more

Don't waste your time! The staff is rude and the doctors are rushing through appointments. I've been a patient for a little over a year and I've now never felt so dismissed. I called in to check the status of a pre authorization for a medication and the staff had me on hold for more than 20 minutes and never came back to the phone. I called back and they refuse to answer my phone call. Not to mention that they are not educated enough on the process to even facilitate it correctly. I was told three different things by three different people within 1 week. As of today, I am changing my PCP. Dr. Hudson, Dr. Jaing and the entire staff needs improvement. read more

I didn't realize I'm walking into Pearland Physicians until I got here. I booked this first appointment with Dr. Jiang on Zocdoc because of her stellar reviews and her immediate availability (I booked 2 days ago and I got in for today's checkup). I didn't find on Zocdoc where she's affiliated. My regular PCP won't be able to see me until November so I had to look up a new PCP to tend to my immediate needs. As a new patient standard, I was asked to come 15 mins before my scheduled appointment at 10 AM. I came in earlier. I had already filled up the forms online by yesterday. I was finally seen by her at 11:45 (phew!) This is probably the longest time I've ever waited on a Doctor! Then I met Dr. Jiang and I had good vibes with her. so far, 5 stars for her. The doctors have a good bedside manner and the facility is clean and comfortable, all of which is marred due to their inept billing department. I've been going this office for the past year and every other visit I've been given a surprise past balance due. Upon my last, I was greeted with several surprise past balances dating back to August 2017 with no explanation as to why I wasn't sent a bill. I was only given excuses (poor ones, trying to divert blame to the insurance company). Admin staff offered a discount "for the inconvenience", but still no solution to the problem. In good conscience I cannot recommend anyone to this facility due to the ineptitude of their admin/billing staff. read more

Take off work for the whole day. I surpassed my hour lunch break just sitting in the break room. I have never waited so long for a doctor. My PCP is here and I'm too lazy to change it but I will avoid coming here as much as possible because of this and a few other reasons. The staff (not reception) is very rude. I even had one of them tell me something that wasn't correct and when I told her the situation was alrEady addresses and finalized she admitted that she didn't even look at the notes. WHAT KIND OF DOCTORS OFFICE DOESNT LOOK AT NOTES AND JUST SAYS SHIT?! Anyways. I do not like it here at all. Wait time is ridiculous! They staff is not attentive in any way, and some of them (not all) have major attitudes. I needed a yearly physical and had a few concerns. Front desk staff were okay. They weren't rude but not friendly. I met with the doctor and my yearly physical felt rushed and very poorly done. I was in the room with her for maybe 5 minutes and as a new patient who stated it had been years since my last one that felt very short. All she did was talk about what I put on my new patient forms then check my heart and lungs, then I was sent for blood work. Dr xin wang is supposed to be a pain specialist and he's the worst doctor to go to. It was a waste of money to see him for him to print me out a piece of paper for my diagnosis and things to help my pain. He did not want to look at my X-rays nor do anything to help my pain except referee me to another doctor. Never again will I recommend or see him. I also asked for a refund for the visit since he was a waste of time and money and the office did not give me that. I have never waited any longer than 15-20 max even when busy. From day one Dr. Jerryce Hudson has always exemplified consistent and very accurate wisdom in both; diagnosis, as well as resolution. Her skill-set and attention to detail literally saved my life. I have seen her work with the young and the old providing the same care and consistency. I would wait in a line down the block for her worth-while results, just like many are doing right now for food and groceries without complaint during this time. Well worth the wait, if any! If you come here for a sick visit its fine, but ask for Dr. Jiang if possible. The other providers are basic and spend two secs in your room. Im so disappointed i didnt demand to dr. Jiang for my wellness visit. The one i saw walked in with a blank piece of paper, asked like 3 questions, listened to my heart and lungs for 2 secs and walked out. I was honestly confused for a second thinking she would continue but then she told me to take my things to the lab. I called later to say i forgot for a otc prescription that ive taken daily for 7+ years. They said id have to make a follow up since we didnt talk about it. How Could we talk a out it in a 60 sec appointment???? The staff have been so unhelpful, treat you like a leper and they wouldnt even let me take off my shoes for a weight check. I hate it when you're placed on hold for over 15 minutes then be told , the Dr. Is at another location today, but I'm texting her right now and will call you back with an RX for the pain or infection, which wasn't done at my visit 3 days ago. I am very disappointed with a lack of quality care and professionalism from the doctor. Dr.J and the rotating staff only seem to focus only on collecting a fee from you.I am never examined by the doctor;nor does she follow up with phone call or follow up care.I am pawned off on the PA.I never get a timely response about medication refills,lab results and a lack of patient concerns.I don't know if it is racial or lack of concern for patients,but I find the level of care appalling and will seek care elsewhere. read more

Couldn't tell me Doctors availability, when I asked a question the response was "I'll get to that in a minute". This is my second unsatisfactory rating in as my years. Unprofessional, incompetent and rude staff, typical for mimimun wage help, sweat shop. Not to mention the ridiculous wait time. Always out of Flu vaccine, Dr. J. is petrified in having to write a percription for a controlled substance such as an anxiety medication such as Xanax for treatment of social anxiety in which I suffer from and she diagnosed me with. She seems to be more interested in running her business in which she is not very good at, and making money, its all about the money, than providing quality service. In order to have percriptions refilled they require an other appointment/office visit for co-pay and insurance claim. I have reason to believe they are in the business of over billing and possible Insurance fraud/scamming for unnecessary visits, a legal investigation may be forth coming which should be a slam dunk due to her incompetent staff. I have the resources to make that happen. Readers please be aware of there dog and pony show, there are too many other good Physicians in Pearland. I recommend to the citizens of Pearland to boycott this location and run them out of town. I found Friendswood Physicians to be a much better source for your medical needs. Good luck. read more

I'm only putting a star because you have to. This place is the worst place to go to. The front office is rude and incompetent. You will wait a ridiculous amount of time your appointment. The doctor refuses to do paperwork. That came out of her mouth verbatim. An office clerk will call to give you X-ray or blood work results instead of the doctor you saw. They charge an extra $25 to have fmla paperwork filled out. They will tell you it takes the doctor a whole week to fill out your paperwork for work. There are 10 plus office clerks and not one of them can answer your questions efficiently. Do not waste your time or money here. Yes you will get an appointment quick but the Service all around is not worth it. They had the nerve to ask my why I quit coming there and I told them because they take too long. My husband is now experiencing the same results. We will never ever come back here. read more

I have been to see Dr Jiang 3 times, & each time there have been problems The 1st time my appointment was at 8am & at 9, the6 told me the Dr was stuck in traffic. The 2nd time I made my appointment with Dr.Jiang & was seen by her assistant (not even a Draft). Now I am here for a 3rd time. Overall I had a great Experience with Doctor Hudson, First time in this office. She is professional, quick and knowledgeable. This experience will definitely make me go back. One area of improvement is the front office staff. One staff member seem to be having a rough morning, and the way she answer things could be taken as if she was having a bad day or just a attitude problem. I went to see Dr. Hudson with a bad cold. She prescribed medicine for me but it had no affect on my cold. I got sicker and sicker. I called the office to speak to her about my illness. She wasnt there so I left a message with her receptionist. It took one week to get a call back and when they called they called my emergency contact. They never called me directly. I finally had to go to another doctor and they solved my problem. I will never go to that doctor again. They are irresponsible and the staff is unprofessional. They did absolutely nothing to help me. read more

I've been going here to see Dr. Jiang (who I think is a great doctor) but the problem lies with her staff. She has some of the rudest staff, particularly Amber who is an extremely nasty person to deal with. She has hung up on me when I told her she was being rude, refused to let me talk to the office manager when I called back, and got irate and pushed buttons on the phone over and over like a 2 year old so I couldn't speak. That's extremely unprofessional and psychotic. She has been very unpleasant anytime me or my family has called to make an appointment or check on results. We will ale transferring to a much more professional practice! Do not go here unless you want a crazy, hateful person messing with your medical records. read more

I had the bad experience to this office. It's new office and then they tried to get the new patient by making next day appointments. However waiting time will be 1:20hrs at least to see the doctor even though you are on time or even a little bit early for new patients. This is my first time and never want go back. This practice is the worst stay away! First they tell my husband he may have cancer based on 1 lab result, which he didnt have but lived scared to death thanks to the carelessness of dr hudson. So he no longer goes there. My physical scheduled for 1030, wait in a room until 1140 and walk out to an empty office so I leave. I've called this office on several occassions and have been immediately put on hold for 10 mins. or more. The office staff can definitely work on their interaction; some of them are rude. The wait time was very long, even though the office wasn't full. The doctor was distracted during my visit and I never did get a return call when I had questions about the side effects of my medicine. I don't think this will be the facility for me. read more

Dr. J has been my doctor for years. I couldn't ask for a better primary care physician. The office staff makes the very limited wait time pass even quicker. I am a patient of Dr. Hudson and really enjoyed my visits. Well, my mom needed a pcp , and I recommended Dr. Hudson . Fast fwd the day of my moms appointment they said her insurance had not been verified but I gave them all her insurance information when I made her appointment and I got a confirmation email . Then the receptionist said we were 15 minutes late so my moms appointment was canceled. Not to mention a part of that 15 minutes , the receptionist was on a phone call for almost 10 minutes before she recognized us or even spoke to us. She seemed like she was irritated and in a very bad mood. I really hate this , because I wanted my elderly mom to have the same experience I did but it was horrible. When will people learn just because you're having a bad day that's no excuse to take it out on others. You don't know what a person is dealing with or going through. The staff looks miserable, will never smile, they talk to you like your a homeless individual. The doctors are even worst! I have been coming to this place for about a year now and each time I feel like anything I am complaining about symptom wise is basically ignored or made to be a minor issue. I went in because my foot was in so much pain that I couldn't really walk or stand for more than a few minutes. They sent me to get x rays done and after 2 days I finally called because no one called me back. They told me that the doctor hadn't gotten around to looking at the results and it could be another day or more to find out what's wrong with my foot. The receptionist said that if it was a big issue they would have alerted the doctor right away I get that But seriously if you have so many patients that you can't get back to them in a timely manner then you need to rethink your professional practices I am officially switching my primary care provider today. Definitely not recommending this practice to anyone read more

I am currently sick and this office has been nothing but unhelpful and uncaring. I go in and they prescribe a medication that's 100$ and that doesn't do anything for the flu at all. I call to get advice on what else I can do to get some relief bc I've just been getting worse and they give me the runaround and even the office manager spoke to me completely emotionless and didn't even try to help. This entire office is absolutely horrible and I do not advise that anyone goes there the service is the absolute worse and they don't even care about their patients. I'm furious that I was treated this way especially while sick and I hope everyone reads all reviews and decides to go to another doctor. i would give them zero starts if i could. Made an appointment for Fmla forms with Dr.Jiang. Paid a copay and a $25 fee for my forms. The physician was in a meeting at the time of my appointment and I meet with her nurse(I'm assuming that's who it was, she never informed me of her title) was left waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. After the visit was told the doctor would reach out to me if any other information was needed. Had a physical done with Dr.Hudson 4 days after my appointment with Dr.Jiang and was told to try different Exercise to help manage pain before seeing a specialist. 2 days went by and I called to make sure my forms were faxed to my HR department. The rep who answer said they had already been faxed and she would resend for me. 2 more days went by and I was told my my HR department nothing had been received. Called the office again and was told by a different rep, she saw no FMLA forms in my chart. Spoke with her for 30mins before she found them and informed me they were denied by Dr.Jiang and that I need to see a specialist. Tried calling to speak with Dr.Jiang to inform her of what Dr.hudson had advised and asked If Dr.jiang would be willing to at least fill out my forms for short term leave until I'm able to find a specialist(no referral was given nor was one recommended to me) Ask the front offfice rep to have the Dr.Jiang or the nurse contact me. I waited 2DAYS for a call back and one never came. Called back and was informed that if I wanted to speak with Dr.Jiang I would need to schedule an appointment and pay another co-pay. with So much back and forward and the fact that i had to make another appointment and pay for something that could have easily been handle by phone, I decided to discontinue my services with that office and requested to speak with a manager. Waited 5 days for the office manager to call me back and I had to call again just to finally get in Touch with her to request a refund for the forms that were never filled out and I now have to wait yet again for the office manager to handle it and I will receive a call back . The office has horrible service and it's all about a dollar. I work in a physicians office and we would NEVER treat our patients with so much disrespect. Highly disappointed.
