Rude Receptionist…read more I've been a patient with Kelsey-Seybold for about two years and have generally been satisfied with my care. However, since changing insurance plans, I've repeatedly experienced issues with being charged the wrong copay. Unfortunately, the front desk receptionist who sits on the far left side of the Pearland lobby has been consistently unhelpful when I try to address the issue. I've explained multiple times that there may be notes on my account or that the billing department should be contacted to verify the correct copay, but my concerns are often dismissed and I'm simply told to step aside and resolve it myself. What makes this even more frustrating is that this seems to be a recurring pattern. On numerous visits, I've witnessed her interact with other patients in a similarly dismissive manner. Rather than attempting to find a solution or provide guidance, she often appears uninterested in helping and offers little to no assistance. I don't know her name because her name badge is usually covered by her hair, but this level of customer service reflects poorly on the Pearland location. Front desk staff are often the first point of contact for patients, and a more professional, empathetic, and solutions-oriented approach would make a significant difference. I hope management addresses these concerns, as patients deserve to feel heard and supported when navigating billing or insurance issues.

Since I started going to Memorial Hermann clinic in 2013, I realized a great difference in my health and that of my family under the care of Dr. Talati. To make a difference in someone's life. You don't have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to care. Dr. Talati is devoted to the care of patients and it's because of this virtue that I am awarding her 5 stars for exceling at meeting patient needs, by bringing about some good in the care‐recipients. I also award 5 stars to the Patient Access Representatives like Christiana, Erica, Abigail, just to name few, and doctor Talati's Medical Assistance, Elisa, for their exemplary custom service in servicing our community. Bear with me and read this review all the way to get as full of a picture as I can give about how Dr. Charles Hebenstreit with Memorial Herrmann Hospital System, his staff and contract partners handcuffed my wrists to my ankles, taking hundreds of dollars of my money and gave me nothing in return. In February 2022, at the referral from my psychiatrist made an appointment with Dr. Hebenstreit to be evaluated for sleep apnea. Between my initial appointment, picking up equipment for home sleep study and follow-up for the sleep apnea diagnosis, I paid $325, through Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. I saw the doctor for a combined 20 minutes, spending more time in the waiting room than in an exam room. I was told briefly and without explanation about the CPAP shortage and that I would be waiting 2-3 months for a machine. I was told the DME company, Arrow Care/Adapt Health would contact me within about a week to give me more details. To make a long story short, over the course of three months, I contacted the DME Co. roughly 12 times and Dr. Herbstreit's office at least 6 times for answers on when I could expect a call back from my service rep and got no answer and no call back. Finally on May 10th, 2022, I was told by Arrow Care/Adapt Health they did not accept my insurance. Once again, no one at Dr. Charles Herbstreit's office could tell me why he accepted my insurance but worked with only one DME that did not accept the same insurance. I am now starting the whole process over with another doctor but there's a good chance I will have to wait another 2-3 months for a CPAP machine since I'll be at the back of the line. My name is David Spires and I now know why Dr. Charles Hebenstreit wears a mask... So he's harder to identify when he robs you of your time and money and gives you nothing in return. In my opinion, unscrupulous, only begins to describe Dr. Charles Hebenstreit with Memorial Herrmann Hospital System

She asks a ton of questions not only to address your health concern, but also to get to know you as a person. It is uncommon to find a doctor with such a relaxed and warm bedside manner. She is an absolute diamond of a doctor. The office is clean and modern. There is plenty of parking all around the building. It is located right off 518 and is easy to locate. The staff is friendly and receptive. There is usually very little wait time. The office uses the MyChart ap to help you stay in contact with your doctor. Dr. G and her staff usually respond the same day or the very next day. You really get the feeling that she cares. She never makes you feel like you have a dumb question. She does not have the doctor complex that you usually see form other doctors. She is not only the nicest doctor I know, she is one of the nicest people I have been fortunate enough to meet. Dr. G spends so much time one on one in the room with you that there is absolutely no feeling of being rushed whatsoever. You feel like you are catching up with a friend more than talking to a doctor. I wholehearted recommend Dr. Gertieson to anyone looking for the last doctor they will ever need. My only concern is that too many people will find out how wonderful she is...and I then have a problem getting an appointment. With warmest regards, Dr. Jeremy Chance If you don't believe me...call me. 713-927-7238 (cell)

The following is from my mom who doesn't have the yelp application. Patient is Ms.LELE SELENICA…read more.. I am an 80 year old diabetic who was fired by kosarec as a patient. I strongly believe it was due to racism. Here are FACTS: I never missed/canceled an appt, never late, paid every bill, insurance, very compliant (AC1 was 10.6 when I started in April '18 as a new patient and 8.2 after 3 months--I have been compliant unlike before kosarac), never bugged her for any narcotics or weird prescriptions. Nonetheless, she is allowed to legally fire without reason. We selected kosarec as my PCP in April 2018 because she had the 1st available appointment (sign #1 to run) in town, not just her PC group. Plus, my daughter felt a Dr from the Balkans would communicate and care best for an elderly. Methodist can spin this anyway they desire but she is biased in my opinion and cannot separate her personal feelings against my nationality. You see, she is a Serbian from Bosnia and I am an Albanian from Greece. The Serbs afflicted genocide towards Albanians and other Balkan ethnicities in what they called "ethnic cleansing" until NATO ended the genocide and war in 2000. These are known and proven facts. Perhaps she suffered trauma and it manifested into apathy. Upon receiving her cold (like her bedside manner)certified letter stating I was fired with no reason, I said to my daughter, "that's why I told her I'm from Greece. So this wouldn't happen". My daughter spoke Albanian after I said I was from Greece (Serbians like Greeks) and kosarec's face turned pale white and appeared nauseous upon hearing we are Albanian. Her nonverbal said it all. My caregiver accompanied us on every appointment.  She was the first to point out kosarec's deficiencies as a physician after the FIRST of four office visits. At every visit kosarac was cold and showed a lack of medical knowledge...questionable to the caregiver first and my daughter. If Methodist cares to elaborate, one son-in-law was trained by Methodist and the other son-in-law is also a Physician who will happily share her medical errors. She should leave the racial reservations I believe she harbors at the border. America is a melting pot filled with love and would be better with no apathy. Peace and God Bless all... including this PC Group who clearly support her. **Cannot refer to her as "Doctor" as one must earn this honorable title of intelligence and compassion in order to be addressed as such

The office of LINDA PORTER TUCCI told me that they have no records of me being their patient and that they are not accepting new patients at this time. I informed them that I am not a new patient, that LINDA PORTER TUCCI has been my PCP for five years, and I am following a treatment plan in regards to an automobile accident - their response was that they are not accepting new patients at this time and that, since my injury was because of an automobile accident, I would have to pay out of pocket for the injury and they would not be using insurance in regards to this visit. I do not understand how a patient of five years can just be 'dropped off' a patient list; the last thing I needed, in this stressful time, was to hear that my PCP (of five years) was not longer my PCP and that I could not receive care. This is unacceptable - I will be searching for a new PCP and will not be affiliating myself with this practice.
