The ship it self is quite small, but the ambience is really nice and relaxing. Everything is brand new in terms of chairs and equipment. This is the perfect cosy little nail salon for a girl to treat herself! Customer service was excellent and the ladies made an effort to not speak too much in their own language which I personally found really nice compared to all the other nail salons I've been too.. ;)

The person who did my nails did it in less than 10 minutes start to finish. Now anyone who knows that just is no where near a manicure. Next what really upset me was when the lady put the cream on my hands to message it in she gave it a little rub and told me to go wash my hands!!! Never in my life have I been told to was the cream off my hands. Just plain ridiculous!!! Next she sent my hands to the dryer and within a minute my nails began to bubble. I told the lady and she tried to paint over my nails with the colour again. I told her to redo them not try and paint over them then she made me wait 10 minutes. I then asked for my money back and she refused and forced me to have my nails painted again. This place was a waste of my money and time. Service was bad and the attitude was even worse. If I could give this salon a no star review, I would! Where do I start? I arrived and asked whether…read morethey had time for SNS, which they answered they did and placed me in a chair. An older lady who couldn't speak much English (who was quite rude also) asked me to place my hands in a bowl full of acetone and paper towel and asked me to move my fingers around. My current SNS was a red wine colour so after ten minutes of soaking and "moving my fingers around", my fingers were stained red and I'd effectively taken off the SNS myself. Every other place I've been to wraps my nails in foil and acetone and soaks them off individually. When my turn was up, the nail technician very roughly prepped and primed my nail bed with their hand drills, not taking any notice to my flinching at every move as my nails are paper thin and weak. She then proceeded to start the dipping process, without dusting off excess powder in between dips so I was left with a border of powder stuck to my skin on my fingers (photo uploaded for reference). I won't even mention the filing and shaping situation, I'm too traumatised at my misshapen nails. When it came to smoothing out the SNS with the hand drill, she couldn't have gone any deeper and closer to the end of my nail bed. Yep, blood! Mind you I flinched all the way and she didn't stop. After all this, I couldn't believe that she not only didn't clean up my bloody thumb, but proceeded to PAINT OVER MY NAIL WITH TOP COAT, thus infecting the brush for the next person. I can't even get through this review. My nails are wonky, fat/lumpy in some corners and I have bloody finger nails. DO NOT EVER GO TO FRESH NAILS AT STANHOPE!! You truly get what you pay for.

I have cuts on at least 2 of my fingers. The "nail specialists" were rude & indifferent. Charged me extra for "removing" prior sns polish!! No one does that anywhere else. Terrible service, changed people doing my nails, didn't check length of nails?? Different length…read morenails, made them way to short...shorter than my already existing nails :-( why would I pay to have longer nails if I already have longish nails! She just snip snip snip off length before I had a look at length! Talking to new customers over my talking to them....very very rushed indeed. Waste of money. I have never written a review before, but so annoyed! I told them they are to short and they say "no no good length" Don't get me started on the terrible state of the nail polish job done....please don't my mistake...go somewhere else!
