I went to a new dentist and the dentist and her assistant were top notched. Months later, I received my first bill saying I owed them money which copay was paid at each visit. Their office manager promised to look into my account but since she never called back, I reached out. Long story short, they were billing me fees that was either already paid by insurance or co-paid. This year I went to another dentist, paid my copay of $65 and have treatment set up with them. Received a surprise bill of another $65 and the office gal said insurance didn't like their bundle so now I have to pay another $65! So, I found Dr. Choi, now the third dentist in the area and spoke with their receptionist/office manager. Let them know that dentist #2 already claimed my benefits and asked what they can do for me. She said they would do the new patient $59 for me. Honestly, the office manager did not sound "warm" on the phone and I almost regretted making that appointment. Dr. Choi came to the lobby and get me personally. I was upfront and explained to her about my frustrations with "happy billings" and also the fact that the front desk asked me for my medical and dental insurance saying they are connected. I told Dr Choi that I paid for my dental insurance separately and she understood and only took my dental insurance information. Without sharing dentist #2 treatment plan with Dr. Choi, I allowed her to evaluate my teeth herself and came up with her own plan. I was quoted $2400 copay by dentist #2. They got on my treatment right away with a same day crown and the treatment Dr. Choi recommended and paid a total of $824! Met two assistants and they are very pleasant, the office is clean and modern. The front desk employee/office manager did warm up in person too. Definitely give them a try.

B/c I am a total dental chicken I always start with those who provide sedation (not just laughing gas and pills). This office had good reviews and when I told them I had a toothache they got me in very quickly. As always I had difficulty getting xrays done b/c of my anxiety and was basically crying (embarassing). The hygienist Carol was so, so sweet and patient and we finally did xrays via digital xrays and then a 3D option as well. I met w/ the dentist Dr. Keith who was also really kind, patient and thoroughly explained everything to me. I'll be going back to get multiple issues fixed but feel relieved and happy to be in what seems to be good hands.

Looking for a more than qualified oral surgeon led me to Dr. Marxen. I met with his staff, went over the procedure, and also voiced my concerns about too much anesthesia, and made my sensitivity to it very clear. The day of my procedure was easy. I was in and out in two hours as I followed their instructions. Post recovery I was not overly woozy and had no ill effects from the drugs. While I had post opp pain from impacted teeth removal, within two days I was back to a normal routine. And all I had to take was Tylenol and ibuprofen! The only painful thing really was listening to the nursing staff talk about lunch before my procedure (as I couldn't eat and was really hungry). If you want someone who's not going to have you living a nightmare for a month after removing teeth, I highly recommend this group.

Dr. Malouf has unmatched dedication in continuing his holistic education and knowledge, while implementing the most cutting edge technology like Airflow GBT hygiene cleanings (AMAZING!), Fotona laser (PRACTICALLY PAIN FREE), CBCT imaging, SMART amalgam removal protocol, regenerative oral surgery using PRF/PRP, and metal free zirconia implants. They truly cater to every patient's specific health needs and have in depth knowledge about the whole body, holistic health, and systemic disease. The front desk staff is so warm and knowledgeable and always there to help with scheduling, billing, insurance etc. You also don't have to wait months to be seen as a new patient as they have a full working staff. I hope to see all general dental offices adopting the holistic protocols this office does, even if the insurance companies don't recognize that yet. Getting off the "sick care" model of dental care was the best thing I could have done for mine and my family's health and longevity!

One of the worst mistakes I ever made was giving these people my money.....I strongly suggest you…read moredon't make the same mistake. My experience of Dr malouf has been that he is disrespectful and rude, and shady with the financial side of things. I paid over 6k out of pocket to have a tooth extracted and an implant put in, 2700 of that was just for the implant. 36 hours after the procedure, the post for the implant tooth fell out. Obviously concerned I called and he had me bring the post back in and he looked at my gums, said everything was ok, and we would decide how to proceed after the gum/jaw healed. The implant tooth never went in. He never followed up, he never mentioned it again, he moved practices and assured me he would take care of it when he got moved. After repeatedly asking him about it and being brushed off (while also being told I needed thousands of dollars of more work done) while coming in for regular cleanings......I finally decided I wanted to call him and talk to him about it. 3 phone messages over few week span and got no call back. But when I had a tooth start hurting and left another message.... they called right away. When I came in and needed work done on the hurtijg tooth, I asked him about the implant and the fact I had paid $2700 for an implant that never went in.... HE LAUGHED AT ME and told me "I can get you a deal on another implant." I was livid and honestly didn't know how to react to someone behaving this way. He then told me he had already been credited by the manufacturer for said implant, but that was a long time ago and now he owed his manufacturer so that would be of no help to me (he later claimed he never said that, but he 100% did.) So now allegedly he is contacting the manufacturer to potentially get me some sort of credit or I don't know what. But he told me 6 weeks ago he would get back to me in 2 weeks.......I HAVE HEARD. NOTHING back. He's given me the run around for over 2 years, and meanwhile never once discussed with me what my options were for treatment, or for how to handle the missing tooth i have. I paid for a procedure that didn't work, and I understand that can sometimes happen. But he repeatedly blamed me because "my body is sensitive" and did nothing to take any share of the responsibility for it OR even try to help me figure out what I could/should do. I can accept that things go wrong in medical procedures, but I can't and won't accept people being rude, condescending, brushing me off, or lying to me about money. I FOR SURE am not okay with a medical professional LAUGHING AT ME when I bring up a concern. (He did late apologize when I called him out on it, but sorry....not ok.) And I am not a 1 time patient, I'm someone who spent roughly 20 grand out of pocket with him. I would have thought that bought me some kindness and willingness to work with me to get the work I need paid for. I gues not. I'd give -5 stars if I could. At this point I am also wondering if the implant post fell out because he made a mistake. It wouldn't surprise me.
