If first impressions are everything then this place is a perfect 10! The property reminds me of a beautiful lodge in the country. Rooms are new, spacious and have plenty of storage areas. A little kitchenette is ready for use with a fridge/freezer and microwave. The bathroom is roomy enough for a wheelchair to get in and out of and the shower has a built in bath seat. The main dining room is set up for residents to eat when they are ready for their meals!! It is spacious and very accommodating with dedicated wait staff. A business area has computers and printer. Snack/coffee area had fruit and cookies available. A gym room is provided and classes are included. While I was touring the facility, the activity room had a few residents doing puzzles and other crafts. They all looked happy, even the staff. My mom is excited to move in and I am happy to have a safe place for her to live where the staff cares about the residents. read more

I went to Pear Valley Senior Living center to drop off gifts to residents that I had picked up off of a giving tree for Christmas. I was excited to hopefully brighten someone's day when walking in, but that came to a quick halt when I met the lady at the front desk. The short woman with red hair was extremely rude and condescending, ruining my only 5 minute experience. I would never send anyone I love here and I feel bad for the people who have to interact with her on a daily basis. read more

This is a really nice facility. Ive toured it and feel my brother will enjoy all it has to offer. Everything is very clean and they have well laid out common areas. His studio is very spacious and the food looks and smells delicious. Im excited for him and his new place! read more

The residents are fantastic and Becky is one of the greatest administrators I've ever dealt with. Some of the staff come off as inconsiderate and stand offish but you'll get that everywhere. Kristina and Karla are the nurses there and they have so much compassion for the residents. We have had the most positive experience with pear Valley Senior Living. The staff is professional and nice and well trained. Most off all, they provide compassionate care. My sweet father has been moved around to numerous assisted living facilities, and in and out of skilled nursing facilities over the last 2 years, unfortunately. I feel so fortunate to have finally found a place like this for him to be properly cared for. There is an RN and LPN available and knowledgeable med aids and trained "care partners"... one would think this is universal at ALFs, but unfortunately it is not. They work as a team here and it is apparent. As an RN, a dedicated daughter, and a person who strives for a standard level of care... this place meets and has exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately my expectations were lowered due to the other ALFs in the Rogue Valley. Pear Vally is truly a gem. They also have an amazing program where they won't raise your rent if you lock in at a rate, which is unlike any other facility around. My wife and I paid a visit and the people we met exceeded our expectations. The facilities are outstanding. It has the feel of a beautiful resort. Pear Valley Central Point Oregon. I had hoped this place would get better. It has only gotten worse with Covid19. They do not require their staff of residents to get vaccinated. They are constantly in and out of Quarantine because people keep getting sick. Staff is required to wear masks but many of them have masks that hang off their face rendering them useless. The new head administrator is 10 time worse than the last one. The owner is now running the place and I can't think of anything nice to say about him. He clearly doesn't have a clue what he is doing. Staff turn over is high because he is not a good employer. He doesn't train staff he has too few staff they are doing multiple jobs and getting no recognition for it. This place is crazy expensive and you do not get much assistance. They need to live up to their advertising. I would not place a loved one in here if they need any assistance in living. There are some good staff here, really nice people but they do not have the equipment or the number of staff they need for a place this large. The state of Oregon really should check them out. My Person has lost so much weight living here that I am now getting them Nutritional meal replacement because the food is not adequate for Seniors. They put spicy peppers in almost everything. No one can be on a special diet. They reuse food that doesn't get eaten. The other night they made stroganoff and then the next day served stroganoff soup. They seriously need a Nutritionist on staff so that resident's doctors don't have to prescribed Nutritional supplements to keep them alive. read more

Moriah is a med Tech/ care partner, she is a true professional in her role at this place, seeing her interact with clients is always a learning experience and shows that she actually cares for them unlike most facilities. She always goes above and beyond her call of duty to ensure each and everyone of her residents are well taken care of and will time and time again stay till the job is done and make sure everyone is taken care of before she clocks off! This is the only facility I will trust because of Moriah, I highly recommend that others come her and see for yourself why I prefer this facility! read more

Pear Valley is a wonderfully located building in the heart of Central Point! That being said that is about it! I dedicated years of my life working for Compass. When I had first began my journey we were trained with beautiful curriculum and ideas of "elite person centered care". My team strived for this. They hired team members that cared about resident care. I don't know when this happened but the switch was slowly made to this money frenzy corporate environment. I have found most of these "elite private pay" homes are no different than there "Medicaid" counterparts. This place is a farm for your bank account and saving. I have never been so disappointed by the world before today and cannot believe the effort that goes into the propaganda they are selling. They cannot deliver the food, activities, care and qualities of life they continue to market. They treat there employees poorly when it suits them and cycle them out just as fast when they are burnt out. No continuity of care. read more
