Her office didn't handle that level of treatment so recommended Dr.Fisher's group. Now... to be clear, pulling teeth is *NEVER* fun. But he and his staff were professional, efficient, and caring. I am impressed by his performance and professionalism, as well as that of his support staff. I was referred by a family member who had work done some 20 years ago with splendid results. It is an expensive and time consuming series of procedures, but necessary. Especially a visible front tooth. Satisfying results. I recommend this practice.

I'd use mine for Dr. Merkel. Have you ever seen the "Painless Dentistry" sign? Dr. Merkel lives up to that promise. Today, I had an old silver filling (left over from a hack childhood dentist) replaced. I didn't feel a thing and never have with Dr. Merkel. He's: - the consummate professional - he's thoughtful about his patients - his work is meticulous - he's a nice guy and he hires great staff including an outstanding hygienist who shares the same traits as Dr. Merkel I had to go see an oral surgeon once who commented on the incredibly work done on a gold crown that Dr. Merkel did. She does not only do the major dental work, but insists on doing all the work; including routine cleanings. This provides a close one-on-one relationship that no other dentist in the area can boast. She makes you feel like you are her only patient, uses up to date methods and equipment, and is an adjunct professor at U of M to boot. I had perfect teeth and I owed it all to him. He was concerned, polite, listened, explained everything- really truly cared for his patients. However, as I became an adult, he wasn't available as often and eventually I needed to be scheduled with Dr. McFinton. I wish I could say I was happy with ANY of my experiences with her, as I'd grown to expect so much after being a patient of Dr Dibble's for most of my lifetime. Unfortunately, I was less than satisfied. She rushed through everything, she asked questions then argued and interrupted when I'd answer. Any visit I had with her she accused me of lying to her when I would explain the problems I'd been having with my teeth, I was appalled. After any visit with her, I've left the office in tears of frustration and anger. Sadly, even my first experience with her ended with her cutting my mouth open with one of her drills- at which point as I sat there bleeding and in worse pain, she told me to "take a Tylenol" and that I'd be fine. No apology, no explanation. Drawing to a close I again wish that out of respect and utter adoration for Dr Dibble I could give this office a better rating.

My post op instructions has a phone number no longer in use. Everyone is nice but the level of disorganization feels like it can and will affect your health. The day of my dental procedure I called and asked if I was suppose to be taking an antibiotic the front desk told me that was not necessary. When I got to my appointment I asked again and the dental assistant and doctor were both pretty shocked that I was told I didn't need an antibiotic. From my experience the quality of your care here will be dependent on how proactive you are for advocating for yourself.
