The facilities are always clean, the kids are well cared for, and they've created such a nurturing environment. The food quality and curriculum are also top notch. This is my son's first time receiving care outside of the home and the transition has been easier than we dared to hope for. I went to pick him up early on the first day and he was having such a great time he asked to stay the entire day! We're thrilled to have such a great preschool program!

I deeply appreciate the plethora of activities and social interaction they impart - from the Montessori toys to reading, playing and mealtime. The presence of other kids is often a benefit, as my son is able to observe "big kids" - which has positively impacted things like physical development (we are a one kid household him seeing other kids craw or walk is valuable to us!) In a time of great childcare precarity, Judy and John have saved me more than once, taking my son on little notice, graciously. I can't overstate what a gift they are to the Hyde park community. Without hesitation, if you need an extra set of hands, there could be none better than Judy and John's.

On our first meet/greet my husband and I witnessed our (at the time) 8-month-old daughter take to Judy instantly. Judy is very intuitive and nurturing, which I loved most! Her and her husband John are Early Childhood Educators and Lifelong Learners. My daughter enjoyed visits to local parks and museums within the Hyde Park neighborhood. Judy and John took great care of my little one and I am forever grateful to them. We have since relocated to the state of Michigan and one of the things I miss most is seeing her smiling face. I consider Judy extended family and am blessed to have met her and her husband John. I would highly recommend Judy's Little School.

It was such a difficult decision to leave, but necessary due to our commute. I always felt completely safe leaving my children in their care. They were no concerned nor explained why he was left alone. Please, for God's sake do not take your children here! Most likely they are being mistreated and neglected. I know times get hard and you need someone to watch your children to work, but please find another place or a church ministry or someone that loves your child. My experience is a year with KinderCare has been nothing but stressful!! the only reason it took me this long because all the other daycares were full. I would pick my son up and he would be dirty and wet even though I brought enough clothes for him to be changed, they have sent somebody else's clothes with him before and we have no idea what happened to his, When he was a little younger I picked him up with two bibs one on top of the other bc they are too lazy to take the dirty wet one off , I once got a call from ms.Ashley telling me that my child is unconscious! after scaring the hell out me she really meant that he took a nap and he was in deep sleep. They once called me to pick up my son because he would not take a nap and they needed to take a break. Every single day when I pick up my son he's crying for water bc they never give them water. One of the teachers has a child in the class and she's constantly comparing her kid to my son and comparing our parenting style.(super unprofessional) she has even mentioned before that it was not worth becoming a daycare teacher and last week she labeled my two year old son as "snotty" and that was the end of it for me. Every time I voiced my concerns to the Director Anita she would brush me off by being "customer service"by that I mean she would say " I am so sorry to hear that, I will talk to them" things will be good for like two days before going back to nasty normal. Either she didn't do much about it or the teachers do not respect her enough. There many more incidents but I can't list them all. Class is maxed out with kids who are not being taken care of and not enough teachers. 320$-350 weekly for this daycare is not worth it, I would gladly pay that to a daycare with teachers who actually love kids and not to a daycare with teachers who work there for the discount they get for their kids. Don't let 25 good google reviews fool you like they fooled me.
