One while I was an associate at Ashby Chiropractic, my first website as a business owner and then a complete overhaul of that website again. All three times were very positive experiences. Mike is a master at using absolutely no computer jargon with me and explaining things in a very simple, to-the-point way. I really appreciate that. And yet, I get the sense that he could talk computer jargon with the best of 'em. He also has a very professional referral network. He has referred me to excellent graphic designers and other professionals that I have needed along the way. Mike has a good sense humor, an easy way about him and always wears really nice shoes! If you're not satisfied with your website and are looking for a user friendly, savvy tech company…read morefor a reasonable price, then I highly recommend T324 on Solano Avenue in Albany. They offer a full range of services, all backed with a highly efficient organization for tracking customers' needs and staff who are always available, patient, and ready to assist. I needed a way to enter my own website (in Dreamweaver) and do edits and additions myself, and to be able to write and send out my monthly newsletter. The staff took me through every step and worked with me until I got the process working for myself. The owner, David Daniels, has lived in the area all his life and comes from a family that had a successful local business, so T324, even though it is a tech company, has the flavor of a neighborhood/community oriented company. Very easy to do business with.

And that counts when you need a quick update to a site or have a question / issue. Number two reason for the five stars: they design a site for you and teach you how to use it... no monthly subscription service/fee... no hostages here... they hand you the product no strings attached and that is counter to the "residual income" business model that has become the low-standard. AE designed and produced our second-generation website in early 2015 (about a year before this review). It exceeded our expectations but more importantly: - It launched without a single hitch, and just before an important season for our organization. - AE produced the website quickly and did not get bogged-down in the details: movement is just as important as direction. - AE trained us how to use the mechanism behind the site as well as site navigation, allowing us to maintain the site / maximizing the site's potential on our own, in-house, without additional (or ongoing) maintenance expenses. Lastly Tod and Karen make an efficient team. I'll explain: Have you ever worked with a similar "partnership" only to find that one person doesn't seem to know what the other is doing? Or worse, their views/thoughts actually conflict with each-other? The design/execution team are on the same page and that is how professionals operate. Well, fast forward 3 years and countless referrals....They get a large job and Ethan wants to charge me 7 times my normal rate. I objected and asked for my old rates for 2 reasons. 1. It was just plain unfair 2. I couldn't afford to pay the HUGE increase. And then all heck broke loose. He brought down all of my sites because he handled the hosting (with Godaddy but charged 2 times their rate), hid my files inside in sub files (3 programmers couldn't find them) and gave me 3 days to pay him or he would erase my files. Basically holding me hostage. So I had to play by his rules and his rules only, pay him 10 times what anyone else would charge to have my files transferred. When I objected he accused me of threatening him. He really caused my business great harm. A really wacky company in my opinion. Ethan may come off as nice but when you question him, things turn around in a hurry. If you plan to do business with them, make sure you are in possession of YOUR files because as soon as you tell him that you may have to take your business elsewhere, things could get ugly fast.
