I thought the quote was high ($3,600), but when I asked for a labour/parts breakdown, I was told they didn't do that. When I pursued the matter, they ghosted me. I ended up getting the job (plus a couple of other fixes) done by a master electrician for less than half the price of the Amp Champ quote. So while I cannot comment on the quality of work Amp Champ does or doesn't do, I can say that their quotes seem high and their customer service is dismissive if you question them.

The guy quit after taking apart a 3 switch gang box and couldn't put it back together! Live wires sticking out of the wall. Total disaster. we called Amber Light, they showed up within hours, fixed the gang box and found 2 other major mistakes with the wiring, which they fixed. It took 2 hours, and he was sweating trying to fix the mess! Got it done very neatly, and charged $140. plus GST. The original butcher charged over $500. just to screw it up!!!!
