In the real world, you'd unfortunately get one, maybe two of these things when renovating so we feel extremely lucky. They happily worked with the initial estimate (tweaking here and there) until we were completely happy with the plans and cost. The staff and contractors are all extremely kind and helpful. We had a major issue come up, and instead of simply repairing and carrying on they brainstormed and implemented a preventative fix so that the issue would not re-occur in the future. Paul and Maureen were so easy to communicate with and were transparent throughout the entire process. We made multiple changes to our existing plans, and they never hesitated or became frustrated. They also never pushed unnecessary work onto us and went the extra mile numerous times to ensure our house was safe. The type of renovation we did was a complete gut job - a lot of money and a ton of work, but this team made us at ease and confident the entire way. Not only did they originally miss the weather proofing barrier but when it was brought their attention the current owner (previous manager) got in my husbands face demanding full payment yet the job was not completed yet. They left nails and shingles all over our property and never came back to clean it up. Recently we had their sales manager out to do an inspection and it was determined the entire roof needed to be replaced. Since this report was filed BY THEIR OWN EMPLOYEE, they will not return my calls, emails, etc. I am now taking further legal action to have my roof replaced as it was done wrong.
