As it turns out, my dizziness would best be addressed, most likely, by steroids for potential labyrinthitis (inflammation of the ear tubes) rather than other causes that could be addressed through physical therapy but Emily was the first clinician to take the time examining my symptoms and testing for various issues.

MD prescribed PT and I had very good results with Rezac in their old facility on Union, but the new place is really awesome. Scott asked if I would allow an intern to work on my while he guided her. I was evaluated and given some exercises to perform at home. Scott then manipulated the affected area, more like a massage, but different, and not anything like an "adjustment." I walked out better, and in fact performed better on the "after" evaluation than I did on the "before." Today was my third session and I am making real progress. I would recommend Rezac to anyone who needs PT.

Working with Bruce was everything I could have hoped for and more. Not only did he seem to understand what my goals were, he structured a plan and pacing that was spot on for my capabilities. He didn't stop there, though, checking in at each visit to tailor that day to my current functionality. I can't think of a better way to efficiently and effectively get quality results and recovery. I've seen him work with patients of all types and injuries as well as at various times of the day. His dedication and quality of care is consistent and top notch. While I wasn't able to engage with the other trainers as closely, from what I could see during my visits that level of professionalism carries throughout the office. As someone who must engage with healthcare professionals on a frequent basis, I know healing happens outside tests and medications. He massaged aching muscles in a way that made me SO much more relaxed than when I arrived. I've been to other physical therapist but Jason really took the time to get to know me. I've had two surgeries on my neck so my issues are focused on the neck, shoulders and back. Jason didn't just tell me how to stretch, but he helped me through the stretches. He helped push my body in ways that released tension in places I didn't even realized needed that stretch. All in all, I felt great when I left and have appointments booked for the next two weeks. If you're in pain, give Select Physical Therapy a try. It's early in my progress but I have high hopes that this treatment will bring me relief.

The "therapist" part of "physical therapist" is very real; my practitioner, Sarah, treated not just my symptoms, but my whole self. Under her care, I improved rapidly physically and also learned so much about my own body and how to care for myself. She balanced trying new therapies with basic core strengthening and flexibility exercises. I was always amazed at her ability to recommend precisely the missing piece in my treatment. Though I originally saw her for chronic low back pain, she's treated all sorts of complaints and injuries in my 2 years with her. I just spent the last 8 months here (at least it felt like it). I was recovering from a car…read moreaccident and needed additional treatment so I was referred by my chiropractor. I've heard great things about Orthopedic Rehab in general- they have a lot of locations- this location is really good. My physical therapist was Micah. He is very good. He also does dry needling and I felt like he did very well with that- he explained everything and normalized the process and was in tune and sensitive with how I was handling it. Micah is smart and knows what he is doing. You spend some time with your physical therapist and then have techs and assistants who walk you through your exercises and treatments. Overall I appreciated each one who worked with me. One tech in particular seemed distant and I felt like he shamed me when I arrived at the wrong time for an appointment (I'm not convinced that was my fault) and that really bothered me. But the people working are personable, caring and knowledgable. Their equipment is good and I enjoyed observing the interactions with other patients and among the team. There are TV's in the rehab area and I got a real kick out of how into The Price Is Right the staff seemed each time I was there. :) I had frustrations with scheduling. I think about 30% of the time (and I went A LOT and for A LONG TIME) there were mistakes made with my scheduling- either the day, time, which treatment I was having, or even the therapist I was seeing. I think improvements need to be made in their scheduling system. The front desk staff, especially more recently, are warm and on top of things. This office has recently added services for women's health which I think is awesome. They don't take my insurance (Aetna) but they were fair in their prices which I respected. The owner/manager of this location, Chad, is extremely personable and seems like a good leader. There were some times I felt like the staff were giving up on me, indifferent to me, distracted or maybe even a little uncommitted. I think that could have been because I was a patient longer than most other people, and maybe my own discouragement that I wasn't getting enough better rubbed off on them. Overall, though, my experience was positive and I will highly recommend this location of Orthopedic Rehab.

In the last year, I was informed that I would be seeing Ashley for my HRT. Then within a month, I learned that Ashley was gone and I received a call from the Flying Horse company. They told me I could pay a $25 monthly fee to continue to receive HRT and I still would have to pay for that HRT monthly too. They didn't answer my questions of why Kim left, why Ashley left, and why I wasn't given a heads up and I had been leaving messages for 2 weeks asking for HRT refills. Sad, but Dr. J sold himself to money. It's sickening! Luckily I was able to find Kim Brown who is on her own now. I WAS sending clients over to Dr. J, but now I have send 6 of my own clients to Kim Brown. BIG MISTAKE by Dr. J. Now this place is a circus, RUN!!!!
