He could have taken advantage of the fact that I knew nothing and made up something to overcharge me, but he didn't. He made a diagnosis that would have cost me 3x as much, but went ahead to examine further to make sure to save me the cost, and stuck around to make sure the problem was 100% resolved They were super helpful, and when I asked about thermostat I wanted to install myself (and save me the cost of having someone do that), he told me to FaceTime him to guide me through, should I have any questions. What concerns me most is that we are a family with a young child, and at no point was there any attempt to troubleshoot or make a simple repair before recommending an extremely expensive replacement. It felt more like a sales call than a service call. I understand that HVAC systems sometimes do need to be replaced, but homeowners deserve an honest diagnosis and reasonable repair options before being presented with a $29,000 proposal. It's difficult not to question the integrity of a recommendation when a blown fuse is mistaken for a $29,000 replacement. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone facing a major recommendation from this company to seek a second opinion before making such a significant financial decision.

Or the office personnel who extorted me yesterday to take a 3200 payment for the damage they caused to my home. No matter which of these you choose these people belong in jail.
