Lucinda, owner of North Woods Massage Therapy, was recommended by my primary health care provider…read moreto facilitate healing of muscle spasms that caused immense pain and limited movement of the upper left quadrant of my body. For numerous reasons massage had never been a preferred therapy. But I needed expedient help in order to compete at an upcoming horse show. Lucinda was responsive to my needs and worked me immediately into her schedule. She put me at ease right away and readily understood the injury and its impact on my daily life and future goals. She even emailed me between sessions to check on my progress! At her suggestion, I also incorporated trigger point treatment by a well-regarded physical therapist. In three weeks' time, I am now moving pain-free with a range of motion that I haven't had in over 10 years. Of all the health care providers I've seen in my lifetime, Lucinda ranks at the top. She's professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and caring. I recommend North Woods Massage Therapy 1000%.

Went in looking a massage for an Injury, explained I was only comfortable with a woman was told a…read morecertain male was better and again explained even included that due to my religion I again could only use a woman and again they just kept saying they wish I could just get over that so I could use this man. Also it was my first appointment when I booked I got no less then 15 texts and emails and j filled them out it was very confusing. Was told to arrive on time unless I needed to fill out forms I show up on time and show them the forms on my phone they don't have them. They deduct the time from my massage. Not a way to win new clients. My woman massage was in the hall way (seen her on my way to bathroom) seemingly very anxious talking to herself while she prepared (so she wasn't ready when i arrived anyway) she left me for an extended time to undress, asked for water she forgot, you won't get a full hour here no matter what as they deduct the time for them to get ready. Had an injury she worked on that area but was a little to harsh with moving it expecting me to be able to move it as normal. Check out was all about rebooking me even when I said I needed to see if it had even been helpful and then to pressuring me to use a male there. Wasn't thrilled, won't be back, never tell someone they need to move past a value they have
