Service - left my car for 7am scheduled appointment and car was not even looked at the whole day. Called at 4:45pm for update and told they needed to wait till Monday. Their communication to the customer is very poor and they seem very disorganized. One time I dropped my car off to have a brake controller installed, since I was having that done I had them do an oil change. Later in the day they called and said my car was ready to pick up. When I got there they had only changed the oil, somehow they forgot to install the brake control. That was the main reason I had dropped it off. The second time was much worse. I dropped it off because the engine light was on. The car is still under warranty. Again, to consolidate a trip I had them change the oil while it was in. Later that day I get notified it is ready to pick up. Fortunately I called before heading there to ask what was up with the engine light. Yep, they had only changed the oil...nothing done with the engine light. They ask if they can keep it over night. The next day at 10:45 I contact them to ask about the status of the car. They never return my message so I call them at 2:00. They said the car should be ready in one to two hour. Three hours go by and they never call. I call and they now say it needs to stay there another night. I tell them at this point that I'm frustrated because I have an out of town business meeting scheduled for the next morning. I tell them their lack of communication is very frustrating and asked if I could have a loaner. She stated she could not authorize that but that she would have a manager contact me first thing in the morning. I never received a call from the manager and I was forced to rent a car from Enterprise for my trip. Later that day my wife is informed the car is finally ready to get picked up. When she gets their, they said they could not fix the problem (apparently something to do with the emissions)but we would be charged over $200 for the diagnostic. They said since they could not fix the issue Kia would not reimburse them and we would need to pay for their time. My wife balked at that and they ended up waiving the fee. The most frustrating thing about the whole experience was the lack of communication. If someone would have just called and explained why they were having issues I probably would have been okay. The dealership has no integrity! Returned my Kia Sorento this weekend after having negotiated a buy out of my lease given I had equity in the vehicle. Alex and Donovan were reasonable to work with to come to agreement on a purchase price and execute a purchase agreement. Both told me multiple times I could return the car the next day and receive my check. I believed them! When I returned the vehicle today, I was told by Tayler, the dealerships used car sales manager, that I could not have a check until the dealership obtained title to the vehicle. When I explained what had been promised by his colleagues he stated they were wrong, he would talk to them and could not issue me a check. At one point he inferred I may not be representing what I heard correctly and stated I signed a contract that had a payoff amount and therefore was not obligated to give me a check at this time. Taylor had no regard for the customer experience or honoring the promises made by his colleagues. The contract clearly states a check is due me on delivery. Taylor thinks otherwise. I have conferred with family members who have been in the auto business for 50 plus years and all have said this is not only extremely poor customer service but a highly unusual business practice. The dealership has no risk - they have the car and the financing is held by Kia Finance. There is absolutely no reason not to honor the promise made by the dealership. I'm extremely frustrated with how the service department handled my recent visit. I was told my dead battery wasn't under warranty and paid out of pocket, only to later discover it absolutely was covered since my car is under three years old with fewer than 36,000 miles. After they replaced a fuse, my check engine light came on as soon as I pulled off the lot, and when I returned, they finally agreed to process the battery under warranty. Instead of simply correcting their mistake, they kept my car for another full day so they could reinstall the old battery, force it to fail, and then submit the claim. He quoted me a high price and when I told him where I was at price-wise he pretty much just dismissed me and left it at that. No counter, no attempt to make the sale. Service is terrible. No one picks up their phone!!! For months I've been trying to get this check engine light figured out and I have a fairly new vehicle, 2023 Kia Sportage. When finally making an appointment after attempting for a MONTH. They tell me it's all fixed it's probably the gas cap that's loose that's making it light up. Ummm huh? My husband was confused as well because he fills up my gas half of the time. We make sure to tighten the gas cap each time. We're not new car owners. We know how to close a gas cap.. They told us to bring it back if it comes back on. Ok whatever. The next day after I get my vehicle, back the engine light turns back on and I kid you not TWO MONTHS LATER attempting to call and leave voicemails, I finally get another appointment. I tell them this has been an ongoing issue, the check engine light was off for a day then came back on and I never can get a hold of them. They tell me oh it's just our phones have been down. YOU GUYS ARE A BUSINESS. How do you allow for your phones to be down for several months!?! So I drop off my car for a diagnostic and get an oil change while I'm at it since I was due. They call us to pick it up and tell us "oh we couldn't do the diagnostic, your gas tank has to be no more than a quarter tank full. Can you make another appointment to bring it in next week?" ok...My husband leaves out of town for a week. I work night shift at the hospital. This is actually very unprofessional because we were never informed to leave the gas tank almost empty prior to coming here. You could've told us that before. I asked them for a rental but they said there's a waitlist so they don't have any availability. So next week comes, they offer me a Lyft ride instead after dropping off my car and I get off my night shift. They say they'll set up a ride for me to come back and get my car once it's ready. After a couple of hours they send me a text saying my car is ready and to call this number. ONCE AGAIN NO ANSWER. I'm calling leaving voicemails and text messages all day. So I'm stuck without a vehicle until my husband gets back from out of town. I work 12 hour shifts and go to school. This is so unprofessional. Here we are 3 months later no explanation as to why my check engine light is on, no car at the moment. No rental, no ride to work or school or the store unless I uber/Lyft. Should've never gotten this done while my husband was out of town. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This Kia sucks. read more

Peak Kia took 5 weeks to fix my car. They continuously got the wrong parts or not enough of the right parts. They wouldn't answer the phone or return calls, and they didn't keep me updated on the progress of my repair. I only got information when I called every week or two. I've waited for the dealership director to call me for 7 days to discuss the issue and ask if they could offer a discount on the repair. Still no word. After all that, instead of charging me what they quoted, they charged me more! I had to pay $1,800 for not having a car or a loaner or a phone call for more than 5 weeks. They didn't even top off my gas when it was finally done. The poor service advisor isn't authorized to do anything to remedy the situation. This dealership has lost my business in the sales side forever. I wanted to buy a 2023 Telluride two years ago from them but got horrible service. The only thing that matters to them is getting you to sign the paperwork. If you start asking questions about the price they start to dismiss you. Also, needing to pull someone's credit in order to give a price is absurd. I worked with Arapahoe Kia and they answered all my questions and treated me like a person and not a sale. Again, I went to buy my second Kia on 7/2024 and gave them a second chance. Same horrible service. One salesman didn't advocate for me or help in anyway. Seemed like he was ok with me signing a deal that he knew was bad. Then I was baited with another salesman saying he could give me a monthly price in the 300s but I had to come in to show I was serious. So I show up and I was then told it wasn't possible to get a price under 500. The sales manager wouldn't even take the time to give me a quote since I wasn't going to buy anything over 500. Therefore, I went to arapahoe, got a deal for 439 a month. MSRP on both deals were the same for my 2024 Ev6 FYI. You will get oversold, treated like a number, and get a horrible deal every time. Brought our 2 year old Telluride in to get a parking sensor repaired that was beeping. Was told it should be done same day, we did not hear from the service department all day, no answer/unanswered voicemails if you try to call in to check in on your vehicle. Received a call at around 4pm on that day, stating we either need a new bumper (thousands of dollars) or they can glue the parking sensor back in. We advised to please glue the sensor back in, as they stated this would not be under warranty. They said it should be done Saturday, but call first to check. Called on Saturday, no answer and unable to connect with anyone from the service department. Went over there and the car was still torn apart, they said it would not be done. I asked them to please call me when it was complete. No call on Monday/Tuesday...no response to calls to them. I get a call on Wednesday, asking why I have not picked up the car....well no one called me. They said it was done on Monday. I went in to pick it up and looked over the bill, was promptly scolded that they only charged us for an hour and 45 minutes of work...but had our car for 6 days! The cherry on this situation, they knew we had to come back and pick up the actual vehicle later that evening (we paid and got the keys back earlier that day) Went to pick up the car around 7pm and they double parked another car behind our spot and we couldn't get it out. All around terrible experience, would not recommend working wit this service department at all. read more

Deceptive sales practices! Went to their website and asked for a quote on a new car. I get a text back from Peak Kia with a link to the car with a "price for you". The text then states that somebody from the sales team will contact me. Soon after, I'm contacted from a sales person at Peak Kia and I ask "you have this car at the price stated" (I send him the link that I got from Peak Kia) and he states "yes, come on in". I get there and immediately see on his desk a sign that says "all quoted prices do not include and added dealer and handling fee of $799." I was frustrated because nowhere on the "price for you" text I got from Kia did it state this. I then confront the sales person about how the price they quoted me before I came in isn't the same as what he's now quoting me. He then asks me, "where did you get that price?" Shocked, I tell him "from your companies website.. you guys texted me a link with that car for that price!" He then shows me a paper with a higher priced quote and starts highlighting certain charges and then stating "ignore that price as this will be changed later". I then tell him "why don't you go back to your manager and bring me a quote that is correct". The way he was showing me the numbers was confusing and possibly part of the deceptive sales pitch. He then comes back with an updated sheet of paper with a quote and then highlights that there is an additional $399 charge for the floor mats and an additional $399 charge for some "Peak" plan. You mean the floor mats are not included in a brand new car and they want to charge me $399!! That's crazy!! I ask him to take those add-ons off the quoted price and he tells me "you can't take those add-ons off" and I would be required to pay those extras. We ended up buying the car from another dealership. And interestingly enough, the taxes the other place charged me was over $1,000 LESS than Peak Kia. Shouldn't the taxes depend on where you live??? Peak Kia was given my address, so why was Peak Kia giving me a much higher tax than this other store? In summary, I was quoted a "price for you" but after coming down to the store the "price me me" increased by $2,000. This is considered a bait and switch and considered deceptive sales practices. I will be reporting this to the Colorado Attorney Generals Office. I'm sure the manager will attempt to justify what I experienced. If you don't believe me, go down to the store today and buy a car there. If you go, make sure to bring an additional $2,000 bucks for your Peak Plan, floor mats and dealer fee. read more

I had a great experience here. It was easy and I didn't get a ton of quotes I didn't want. Even though we had talked about anew car, when we walked in and said we wanted to buyout our lease, Grant Gilmore was happy to oblige. He just ran us the numbers. Fave is 9 different options al at once so we didn't have to wait for each and every offer for twenty minutes. As soon as they brought the offers back, they were as good as I had run in my head. We chose one, were offered lunch, and headed to finance to wrap things up. I was ready to say NO a hundred times but instead, we signed the papers, learned about their service package, got a receipt, made a new pal, and walked out! It was so easy I was double and triple checking paperwork just to make sure they didn't slip something by me. Nope. Everything exactly as they quoted. First, I will say Daniel (salesperson I was working with) was very polite and helpful and unfortunately the store policies didn't allow for us to make a deal. Second, if you are looking to buy a Kia ESPECIALLY a TELLURIDE, do NOT bother trying to buy one here when you can get a better deal at 5 dealerships up the road in Denver. I have been looking for a Telluride for a few weeks specifically a SX-P with Nightfall package in black. I had great success finding plenty at MSRP even placed a $500 refundable deposit on an in transit unit at I-25 Kia. After seeing one in black we decided that's all we wanted which brought us to Peak Kia. They happened to get one in Black with Dune Brown interior. I was informed there was a "market adjustment" but to come in and work a deal. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly staff and Daniel was already pulling up the Black Telluride. I explained I understand businesses want to make money and right now people are willing to pay a mark up but $7k was a bit steep. On top of that they were not willing to take of the "Pro Pack" that they pre load on all their cars (The clear bra and tint had yet to be physically put on). The package is essentially $2500 for clear bra and tint which is a massive mark up on what you can get at your local detailer. All in all they were polite enough people but the dealership is greedy nickeling and diming under prepared buyers. Do yourself a favor and check out literally any dealer in Denver. I'm ending up with a 2022 SX-P Nightfall & Tow at under $55k out the door taxes and fees included. Peak Kia wanted $60k on a 2021 without the tow package BEFORE taxes and fees. My deposit is at Grand Kia (a little steep at $2k but worth it since we reserved one that met all our boxes) and the white one I gave up was at I25 kia (Ask for Carlos he literally updated me every couple of days with incoming units that were available just none were my perfect build and there's was a fully refundable $500 deposit) both dealers only believe in charging MSRP. I was looking around for an EV. I wasn't set on make or model at first. I tried talking to the Toyota dealership in Boulder and they were complete jerks. I spoke to a Kia dealer in Centennial, also complete jerk. I found peak Kia and called, talked to Donovan. He was extremely helpful and answered my questions honestly, I came in because of him and his kindness over the phone. When I got there he treated me like he knew me forever and was very professional, yet treated me like we knew each other forever. He did not pressure me to buy the car but continued answering every question I had. I took a couple days to think on it before I returned, he was very patient with me and answered every question I had. Quite literally the BEST car dealer I have ever dealt with. I recommend him if you're looking into buying a new car. I wasn't sure on Kia but I've heard they have really upped there game, and I do know from previous Kias I've owned and gotten into accidents in, that they are very safe vehicles. NOT SURE WHY IT SAYS I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA. I DON'T LOL. I LIVE IN THE SPRINGS AND BOUGHT MY VEHICLE HERE. I wanted to throw some Kudos out there. If anyone is looking for a new (or new to you) vehicle - please please swing into Peak Kia like I did. I went in, an hour before closing, after spending the entire day at other dealerships. I was quickly greeted by numerous members of the sales team. I picked one and told the rest to feel free and go home lol. The vibe on the sales floor was that I just walked into a laid-back social gathering., quite different than the previous 3 dealerships that felt sterile and stale. I was greeted quicker and felt more welcomed at Peak Kia than I did at the other three dealerships (sorry Carmax, Mike Maroone Chevrolet North and Corwin.... oh and Longmont Kia that still hasn't returned my phone calls or email). Caleb James was my salesman and I test drove two vehicles. It was going to be 3 but the 4runner had a dead battery. I joked that the 4Runner was the whole reason I stopped (which is partially true because it looked great in their lot and provoked my somewhat illegal U-turn) and that if I couldn't drive a 4Runner, I was leaving. Another salesman reached in his pockets and handed me his keys. I didn't drive his personal vehicle, but it seemed like he would have let me. I fell in love with the Telluride, it checked every single box I had. I am a 37-year-old female who showed up alone in a 25-year-old Ford Explorer. Yes, legit a car old enough to have earned a masters degree in college. Let that sink in. Caleb was incredibly informative about the features and bells and whistles with me. He encouraged me to try the adaptive cruise and lane assist. It was super weird not having my hands glued to 10 and 2. The Telluride drives amazingly and speeding just kind of happens. I caught Caleb holding the grab bar at least twice, so I feel like I did a good job. Obviously, I fell in love with it. I wanted to call my fiancé before purchasing, but I was scared of losing the vehicle. Ben was upfront and honest and was like, "We are closed, so no one else is coming in. A $1000 deposit isn't refundable, please, don't give me money. Sleep on it and call in the morning". I was blatantly giddy about this SUV, he could have easily pressured me into something. In all the excitement, I forgot my license. I live 25 minutes PAST Woodland Park but Caleb still offered to drive it to me. He sent me a pic in case I got stopped. What great service. Absolutely above and beyond what I expected. The next morning I was greeted by name by two additional salesmen. I did a second test drive and Caleb showed me all of the features again. While we negotiated price, I got hungry and I learned of the free snacks. I was told that the management knows that the people there are about to spend money, why should they also buy snacks? What a great concept. I just bought a Telluride. Would that $2 candy bar break my bank? No. Was it nice to NOT spend $2 on candy...or a drink? Uh...duh. While finalizing papers, other staff talked with me. I was never awkwardly sitting alone. Donovan was very social and personable. Pay attention, he sings, A LOT. It was just such a relaxing vibe and gave you the impression that everyone got along and enjoyed their job. I never felt pressured or rushed or ignored. I felt welcomed and included and, well, entertained. When it was time to drive home, it then dawned on me. I now had two cars. They offered to drive the second car home for me. Like seriously, what amazing service. Before I left, Ben found me and personally thanked me again. I'm so glad I made that somewhat illegal u-turn. I am so incredibly fortunate and had an amazing experience. As I waited for financing, eating free snacks, I people watched. No one seemed upset or irritated to be there. Maybe it's the massage chairs and free popcorn? Or the doggie snack bar? Maybe the freshly planted vibrant flowers? At no point was I irritated or upset that I was there. Purchasing my first new car was a seamless and hassle free process and honestly, was a wonderful way to spend the majority of my Friday. read more

I love my Kia K-5, but the dealership is a huge disappointment. The salesperson was sweet as could be while I was buying my car, but I never heard one word from her after the sale. Service at this place is a joke. Took over 2 hours the first time I went in for routine maintenance. Second time was a bit better because I told them I was in a hurry, so it only took a little over an hour. I went in today for my final "free" oil change that came with the car. Guess what?? I guess free isn't really $0. I had to pay $71 for this oil change because when I bought the car, I was told that I would get my first 4 oil changes included. What they didn't tell me was that the time expired before I got in for the final change. I was informed of this as my car was brought out to me after service. The good news is I don't ever have to set foot in this place again and I will go back to my regular mechanic from now on. read more
