Didn't do any research ahead of time. Just saw them while in the area and stopped by. I've been to a few other dispenseries but this one stood out. First up there's metered street parking right in front. Didn't see a dedicated parking lot. Once you enter you'll probably notice the smell. They all smell to a degree if you're new. The first room you enter is the waiting room. Head up to the window and show your ID. I found the person very friendly and making small talk about my home state. They let my party in right away no problems. Sometimes you do have to wait if the Bud Room is busy. Just be patient. Once in the room I was greeted by a manufacturer rep for a product they were having a special on. But one get 2nd half off. From there worked with the Bud Tender and she was so bubbly and helpful. My friends were new and she was more than happy to suggest or give opinions. She helped me pick out some pre-rolls and guided me to the best products and best bang for the buck. In and out no problem and in a timely manner. They didn't rush us. Gave me some matches and stickers too. I also liked that they had all their product on display and pretty easy to see. They didn't fret about phones. You can use them and take photos...at least while I was there. This location also has a medical section with higher potency but you do need a medical card. Would definitely go back with such a selection and friendly staff. They did have some products I had not see in other stores. Get your ID, cash (cash only) and check them out. I live down the street and only came here because of a snowstorm, unfortunately this place loves to be shady when weighing small amounts of weed. The gram that I got (see photo) has a massive stem and the young female budtender should have broken it off. This is a total rip off. I paid $13 for this stem! Why? Greed! And you want a tip to boot? I've been here 10+ times over the last year. I've always had a good experience other than on one occasion where the young lady working was too high to properly converse and give me satisfactory customer service.... But, I would be lying if i said i've never been in her shoes. The staff is knowledgeable, Brett has always been a great help, and I really appreciate that the bud is kept in containers we can view/smell from. I've been visiting Peak more frequently in the last few weeks due to its convenient location, however, this last experience left a sour taste in my mouth. The bud tender we worked with spent most of his time telling us about his evening plans filled with alcohol and shenanigans and then continued to tell us all the bad things about sun grown cannabis and how superior California bud is to Colorado's. Being in the industry and connected to a sun grown farm we took a bit offense to these comments as well as the mis-information provided by staff. We also heard a lot of cursing by other staff members during our transaction which wasn't very professional. To top it off we paid $55.00 for an 1/8 of CBD flower in which the budtender didn't know where it came from after preaching the importance of source. Overall we likely won't be back - I can get lower priced, higher quality bud with more informative bud tenders else where. read more

Went in to buy an indica bubble joint, as they help me sleep. Peak was sold out, but the "budtender" told me that they carry stratos joints that are comparable. I specifically said that I use these to sleep... you can probably guess where this is going. I'm wide away writing this and just researched the strain on leafly... it's 2/3 calming and 1/3 energetic. Only 8% of people said it helped with insomnia. This tool told me that it'll help me sleep and knock me right out. Don't be a tool and push product that clearly isn't suitable for help with sleep. At the very least, more questions should have been asked. My mistake for trusting the sub-par budtender instead of literally researching the strain on leafly in the store. read more

Easily the best dispensery in Denver. Best prices, best staff, and an excellent selection. Despite having been pretty loyal to another "big dog" in town, I have switched over to exclusively to Peak. I love this place and you will, too! No parking lot, metered only. However I never seem to have an issue finding a spot. And Peak is usually fast! You likely won't need more than ten minutes on the meter unless you're new and need a MJ info rundown by their helpful staff! read more

This is, by far, the best dispensary in Colorado. They have amazing staff who are happy assist you in finding just the right product to meet your need. The selection is amazing. I often have edibles that my friends have never seen, much less tried. Whether you're an experienced toker or you're just looking for information, PEAK is prepared to meet your needs. Shopping there is such a great experience, we take all of our out of town guests to PEAK. They get their questions answered and are able to get "just a little to try" or stock up on some of this and some of that. Until I found Terrapin (only about a half mile south of Peak), I used to go to this dispensary all the time. Then I found out how much I was getting ripped off. Their prices are inflated. You wouldn't know any better if you're in town visiting. Looking back on it, the service was never especially good either. With all the dispensaries in Denver, don't waste your time here. Great experience! Fast, friendly, affordable and good product! Recently moved into the Wash park neighborhood so I thought i swing by and give this place a try. On a Saturday afternoon I walked in and did not have to wait at all. Jeremiah the budtender was super friendly and informative when helping me pick out what I wanted, especially since I'm not a big time smoker and have no idea what I wanted. I recently bought a disposable dab pen, Northern Standard brand, from PEAK and as I step out and open the product to try it out , it does not work. I was literally getting light headed from hitting it so hard just be confident that it would work. Silly of my partner to throw away the receipt because, I mean.. it should of worked in the first place. I go back an hour later since I was traveling so 1, I did not have a car to go back and forth, 2 I had to walk over to see what the business could do. Now at every dispensary I have been to, there is always a security or associate there to assist me as I step in the door. I actually waited 7-10~ minutes here to even see someone. So I explain everything to the guy, and he just tries to make me feel dumb by asking me if I knew to remove the cap, and if I was indoors when I tried to hit it. Seriously, the light wouldn't even turn on.. that should be enough. Now, I know I should have kept my receipt, but the package had the day's date and the lady that helped me out wasn't even there ( which she didn't even help as much either) -_- , but either way I just wanted a product that worked or something else. The guy talked to his manager to see what he could do, and I overheard the manager guy saying that the product has been returned several times before. After that, the guy proceeded by giving me a new pen and a copy receipt , incase, and I should have gone back to get a new brand cause the 2nd pen he gave does not even work right. I have to hold some holes on the pen to get the smoke, shake my head. BUT I did take the oil from this trash pen and switched it to and actual cartridge that works. 2 stars cause my partners pen actually works :) read more

I have had some issues with this spot. I used to come every other day when this spot opened because it was so close to my home. But I noticed I was being wrung up wrong constantly, and the staff was either complicit or instigating the issues. Here is the latest example... I come in to see Jeremiah and he shows me their $10 a gram selection. I pick two grams, and he rings me up. $36.20....now keep in mind they also took off 10% for me being a local... State taxes are 25%.. I can do math. I inquire about the price and immediately the employee is flummoxed and irritated. He gets it down to $30.20, still $6 higher than it should be. But I pay it. This is exactly the reason I avoid this place. Transparency is really important to me. And so is value. read more

I have been to numerous dispensaries and never left a review. I had to with this place. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I gave 2 star instead of 1 because the weed selection is great. The flower selection is large and they have everything you need if your into cartridges, pre rolls, etc. Now back to the negative about this place. We waited about 10 min to get in. That wasn't my issue. My issues is once we were let in how rude and unhelpful the staff was. It was a guy and girl. They were other customers already ahead of us once we entered but the staff was taking there sweet time helping them out. Then my buddy who was next in line gets skipped over. The staff literally went let 2 more people in then helped them right away as if we were not even there standing and waiting. They were regulars and chatted with them the whole time. Finally i got helped by the other staffer the female who was rude as hell. I asked her if she had a pre roll menu or list. Every dispensary from California to Nevada and even Colorado has a list or menu but not here. Then I asked for a G of some flower they had on their screen menu above the counter she immediately tells me no not to use that menu that what is behind the counter is all they have. She takes her time about weighing everything out. Then continue to be rude and give one world answers and just really acting like she didn't want to be their. Will not be returning here ever again.
