There are loads and loads of shops in the Quadrant like HMV, Game , W H smiths , Clinton cards and Debenhams. It can get pretty packed out with shoppers at peak times and especially with the run up to christmas. At christmas there is usually a lovely christmas tree with lots of decorations which make it look really nice. The shopping centre always looks clean and tidy and you will always find a cleaner pottering around.

Shops you find in every town in Britain. The Quadrant itself is quite pleasant though, it has a predominently glass roof which allows it to be very bright and airy inside. There's a gallery cafe which looks out on to the main concourse of the shopping centre which is great for people watching. The bus station also comes out of one end, so finding it is very easy, and also you won't have far to carry bags to get a bus. Or even to get to your car if you choose to park in the NCP which also adjoins the Quadrant. You can also get to Swansea Market via an entrance in the Quadrant. The largest store by far is Debehams, which is a large department store and takes up almost an entire wing of its own. ANECDOTE: I was sick on the doors of Debehams one Christmas as I was shopping for presents and very rapidly came down with a virus. There are public toilets (free) upstairs which are clean and well maintained. The buidling is decorated according to the seasons, and a large Christmas tree is the focus during the winter.

Because of this, I managed to buy 4 bras for the princely sum of £12 - two of them the fairly pricey Miss Ultimo bras. I was impressed. I could spend ages in Debenhams, and more so now that the Benefit counter has expanded to include an eyebrow bar - now if the one in Leeds could just follow along with that, it'd be much appreciated!

You can find some good bargains if you have the time to hunt around the store , I find it a little big and at times impossible to find what I am looking for. It has been widely advertised but I would say anyone interested needs to carefully shop within the offer, depending on your choices you can get save over £10 or as little as £2. If you shop within the offer carefully it ends up as a meal for 4, large chickens have been part of the offer sometimes and ready meals that serve 4 plus they had a great cheese board in the offer last time but by lunchtime on the Saturday no cheese boards were left or restocked on sunday. Unfortunately the most expensive items in the offer do sell out very quickly and sometimes, at least in the Swansea shop, they run out of side orders and desserts making the offer no longer available early on in the day.

The food they sell is lovely but dont expect to be able to do a weeks shop here as they just dont stock enough range. Its worth noting that they dont sell anything other than their own brands. Also remember that if your buying lots of food you have to walk it all back to the car and since this store is in the middle of Swansea then that may be quite a walk. They do do good 3 for 2 offers on xmas pressies so look out for them.

Crazy Macs is located on the swansea enterprise park not far from PC world and currys…read more I was recently looking for a cheap sofa so decided to look in Crazy Macs , the shop is quite big and they sell carpets, bedroom furniture , dining tables , beds and sofas. Some of the sofa`s were good quality but very expensive , other sofa`s were expensive and not very good quality. I noticed that some of the sofas had a lot of marks and tears yet they still had a price mark of £200. They also had cheap sofa`s at £50 which I guess would be suitable for a student. I noticed a lot of the dining tables were scratched and chipped and again they had very high prices. If you decide to buy a product they do deliver for a small fee.

Buyers Be Warned !!! They LIED To Us Multiple TImes…read more These people gave us our most horrible online buying experience. If you are a buyer and need a business which you can trust, a business which delivers their promises and which does not LIE to you, then go look to shop somewhere else Here is our experience with them: 1. While they promise great packaging, they sent us 4 boxes filled with mason jars and only one box arrived safe. They had opened that one box and filled it with white chips and then closed it so it arrived safe. The other three boxes were sent bare and with no white chips inside nor wrapping outside!!! Therefore they arrived with broken jars!!! They sent glass with no wrapping!!! Nothing!!! So shocked until now by the brain they have!! 2. We immediately emailed them and were IGNORED for 2 WEEKS!!! We had to send a follow-up email 3. Their Customer Care Manager finally replied to us and immediately promised us either: A. Credit or B. Send box of replacements to us 4. We requested the second option and the next day she told us she had the replacements picked and she even went further to tell us the replacements would be sent to us THAT SAME DAY. Few hours later, she emailed and asked us to split the shipping cost!!! WHAT??? 5. We refused and we did offer our best to help find a much cheaper quote with the courier we use (65% cheaper), which will come to less than their half she was implying they were willing to pay, consequently saving them money!!! 6. She, out of nowhere, replied to our offer with: "I am afraid we have to refund for the damaged items."!!! That is it!!! She went straight from replacements, supposedly on their way to us, to just refund!! Can you deliver a promise? And can you lie less? 7. We talked to their Director but he was just useless. He was not willing to pay £35 to ship the replacements with our courier and fix their mistakes. He implied that this amount of money would cause a loss to their business!!!! (The kind of person interested only in short-term and self benefit) But he really did not care for our business where we are losing over £750!!! And will be stuck with their stupid items Dealing with their business was just horrible, on all levels from bottom to top, from the stupid packer, to the fake and sneaky customer service manager to the selfish director. Waste of time and money. If we were in the U.K. we would still be asking for replacements, and we believe they would have found themselves obligated to send replacements. But since we are overseas our hands are tight and they chose to basically not care P.S. To your fake customer service, DO NOT reply to this review and pretend that you are compassionate and want to resolve the issue bla bla. Do not lie no more. We have seen enough fake. This is a great shop which sells everything for a pound , they sell a vast range of things like…read moretoiletries , toys , DIY , dvds , food , and homewares. Now you might think that because everything is a pound that it must all be junk , you are wrong! A lot of the things they sell are ok , I like to buy the craft stuff like paper , pens , pencils and glue. The one downside is this shop is very cramped which means you cannot really have a good look round when it is busy as you just get in the way , and often I find the buggy gets in the way and people start to get annoyed. Also there are always large queues at the checkout especially when there are only 2 members of staff on.

The biggest downside of this shop is it gets so busy you really have to be careful what time you go, opt for early morning if you want to do some serious shopping as the queues can be long.

Its great for an budget because of their wide selection of bits and pieces, the queues are always quite minimal considering its quite busy there on times, and its extremely messy in there, but what can you expect for the high volume of items in there.
