If I could give a negative number I would. First Barbara Z. is not the owner of Peach Tree and she refuses to give you any information on who does own the center. If you review her add on Facebook she advertises the center also as an assisted living environment which is totally not true and which they are not licensed for at all this allows Peach Tree to not fall under any regulating jurisdiction. Do your research before you let a loved one sign the papers. Looks are deceiving, they will not honor powers of attorney unless "Barbara" deems that your loved one needs to have you use your power of attorney regardless of what the doctors or other officials state. Barbara will also not communicate with the power of attorney holder if you buck her system or if you do not follow her program, in other words if you stand for your loved ones rights and their benefits. My loved one passed away in December and I am the executor and she is still causing me stress she made the refund of deposit check out to my loved one who passed away in HER facility, knowing full well that that would just complicate matters more for the estate as I am the executor. Beware of Peach Tree especially of you have a loved one with dementia oh and if you do go against Barbara she waits until you leave and then goes to your loved one and threatens them with eviction if you the person who is trying to look out for does not back off and she gets away with it because it just causes further aggressive and negative behavior in dementia/Alzheimer's suffers. read more

Peach tree retirement center regularly hosts events for their residents and I have been invited to participate. The staff always goes above and beyond what I expected.
