Firstly, the receptionists (there are often 3-4 behind the desk) aren't interested in communicating with you when you walk in. They insist you sign in on paper first, be seated and then they'll call you up 5-10 mins later to fill out paperwork or any other parts of the sign in procedure. Very impersonal. Also, not a fan of the OB care I've received. A "no opt out" urine test every appointment is a little extreme and I didn't experience that at my previous OB. I only switched here since it was local and worked with my new (cheaper) insurance plan. That being said, you can immediately tell upon walking in that it's a cheap/cost flexible facility. I have to echo what the other review said when it came to prescriptions. My nurse sent a prescription over necessary for me to take immediately and when I went to fill an hour later (unbeknownst to me) hadn't come through yet. So they pharmacy filled a similar prescription that had refills left from my previous OB. It was a huge mixup that's still ongoing because the correct script wasn't actually sent until days later. In addition, some smaller logistical things: they didn't remember/write down many of my responses to their questions about vaccines and even my weight measurements from previous appts and then seemed to imply it was my fault they didn't have the info because I didn't return with their "pink card" which in my opinion is just a form they want you to constantly have so they can shift the responsibility of record keeping onto the patient and away from their staff. In general, the staff seems uninterested and inauthentic in their patient care. Poor customer service and organization. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back after my birth

I don't know if it this place or just doctors generally but it is such a disrespect to waste people's time as if we have nothing else to do but wait on you. I have to go to work after this visit but I can't even give my manager a descent time to expect me in. However, if you are10 minutes late, do to traffic or anything else, then they want to cancel your visit and reschedule you. It is unfair that you have to simply sit and take it because whatever brought you in to the office matters more than the blatant waste of time they put you through.

If you stop in for a referral for a specialist, be sure they do not provide you with an expired referral number. Also be sure they don't overcharge you if you have a copay. Know how much your copay is going in. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER before stepping foot in here because again, they will schedule your appointment and wait until you arrive to tell you information is missing and you can't be seen. Established patient of this practice for close to 4 years now. In that timeframe, I met with my…read morePCP, who ended up leaving, a total of 2-3 times. With a crazy work schedule (rotating nights/days at a hospital) I've had to reschedule an appointment or two. The most recent appointment was cancelled by the practice due to my PCP leaving. So having said that, I was met with one of the most inconsiderate encounters with Veronica, who I would assume is a front desk employee, over the phone while scheduling an appointment for the first time in over 1.5 years. Whenever scheduling appointments I have a sticky note handy to write the info down so this is a direct quote from Veronica: "well young lady you have cancelled three appointments and have no showed one so are you sure you are going to show up to this one?" *continues to go off on a tangent* If only I could convey her tone through this post you would understand my bewilderment. There have been no instances where I have "no showed" and quite frankly, you never know why people need to cancel appointments! Mind your business and keep your comments to yourself if it doesn't affect you! These are trying times with overworked/not enough physicians, which is the reason I have no where else to go at the moment. Encounters with just your front desk/scheduling staff can influence people to take their business elsewhere.

Then the less than nice receptionist tells me I'm not able to make an appointment just in case it's outside of the 30 day range of my surgery. I could have easily called in and adjusted the date because my concern was I wouldn't be able to get an appointment in time. My guess was right. I called today to make said appointment and they have nothing. At any location. Nothing even with an RN or a PA. Additionally, at all the appointments I have had over the past two years I asked for a refill on my asthma inhaler and they kept forgetting to give it to me, so I'd call and they'd tell me I'd have to come back for another office visit just to get that so I'd end up paying another co pay for their forgetfulness. I'll take the hit of having to start over with a new primary care doctor. Go elsewhere because they simply don't care.

The initial nurse who took my vitals was rude. All the office staff is dismissive. I've had to call and wait on hold numerous times to get the results of a test I had to have done. Now, I'm from NY, but I don't think its too much to ask that the office staff treat people humanely. Once I finally got a hold of someone, I was berated about how she needs to do her job and that my call wasn't a priority. I also thought it was laughable that when I was exiting from my appointment, the one receptionist was trying to take care of something for me while the other one sat there looking at the Popeyes menu while the phone rang off the hook. Not to mention I didn't see the doctor until 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Though I would highly recommend him for his knowledge, I would not under any circumstances recommend Total Care Physicians since they do not employ professional office staff.

The staff was so unprofessional with ordering wrong meds and then not ordering her meds correctly. Wrong diagnosis on her leg and she ended up in a wound care center. We pulled her from Total Care and got her meds right through her heart doctor. This place is horrible... Try it at your own risk and health!
