A visit to Betty White Jewelers always seems to brighten my day because they really care about their customers. They always take a genunine interest in their customers, which helps create a better experience when shopping for jewelery. Their head jeweler, Timothy White is a master at his craft. I mean that. He does many custom pieces of jewerly or metal work in a very detailed fashion. If you can imagine it, Timmy can create it! He does custom engravings, also. Oftentimes, I will find some type of jewelery that I like at another Jewelery store or online, show it to the jeweler, and he will get me a better deal on a simliar item of much higher quality. I really appreciate that personal aspect of this business. For example, I found a pearl ring that I really liked at Zales for about $90. I always had good experiences with Betty White Jewelers in the past, so I sent Timmy an email with a link to the ring to see if he could find me a better deal. Sure enough, he did. He looked diligently for me, and when I did not like the first ring he sent me... he sent me multiple others. He did not stop searching until I was satisfied. I know the business also has many other items for various occasions such as gift items for Mardi Gras krewes, wedding and anniversary gifts, birthstone rings, charm bracelets, glassware... I've seen it all in the store. So for a very perosonable experience where you'll not just be buying jewerly but being cared about by the employees, I reccommend Betty White Jewelers. I'll definitely keep going back.

They offered us a "discount on a discount on a clearance piece." I told them we needed to think about it but we would try to make our decision the next day. I called the next afternoon and then went to the store to pick up my ring. Turns out, It was $500 more than the day before. So I guess because I decided on that ring they thought they could squeeze out more money. Of course,they didn't tell me that until we had given them all of our info. When I questioned them, they said that was a special sale for yesterday. Really??? They then informed me that I was "still getting a great deal" and they would throw in sizing the ring for me so I should spend that extra $500. It was all sooooo sleazy. Needless to say I walked away. (Although I really liked the ring...rats)

The woman directed me to the only two of the certain type I asked about. After asking to see one up close, I thanked her and walked out. There was little conversation and no offering to help me further. The other salesperson (I presume manager) didn't ever acknowledge me. I left and walked through the mall to another jewelry store and walked out a little while later with my beautiful diamond solitaire. I guess the people at Gordon's presumed that I was "just looking". The best section was in the extreme back in the clearance area where I spotted Halloween items at 75% off and colorful platters marked down to $12.00. There was literally hundreds of wonderful gifts at bargain basement prices. It's located on Corporate drive which runs behind the ever crowded MLK Blvd that's teaming with your typical chains, so it was an absolute delight to find this gem. It should also be noted the entire store is having a 20% off sale at the moment. Does that mean they won't wrap anything you buy? I have spent hundreds of dollars at this store in the past. I bought my big green egg here that was over $1500 and also bought hundreds of dollars in accessories for my egg as well. This may seem trivial, but nobody cares about customer service anymore. They certainly don't at Outside & In! They have lost a customer today.
