We had a great handle on all the details of our wedding as we hired our own vendors a year in advance, but in the end, we really needed a planner who could help us pull everything together in the final days when we needed to focus on other things. Debbie and Laurie, owners of Core Concepts, did an amazing job. We hired them to help us coordinate all the details in the final 30 days leading up to our special day. You can trust that they will be in regular communication during the time that you contract to work with them - they will deliver! All of the details came together perfectly - from the beautiful flowers in our requested colors (white, purple and blue) and table seatings, coordinating with our other vendors and keeping everything on time during the day, to the signage and programs and pipe and drape and uplighting and Gobo OH MY. The setting was just perfect - Core Concepts truly helped transformed the space (which was drab) to make it feel elegant and created an atmosphere that made the entire evening feel special to us and our guests. They were hustling until the very end to ensure all the details were taken care of. They also went the extra mile and delivered our flowers after the wedding festivities to the venue where we were hosting a brunch the next morning -- and that was after a really long day of set up and breakdown. That extra touch was a huge help, and we were very appreciative. So many of our guests told us, with sincerity, that it was the best (and most magical) wedding they have ever attended (!!!), and that was thanks in no small part to the Core Concepts team. We are thrilled. They worked hard to help bring our vision to life and for helping us kick off our next adventure as a married couple. :)

We shouldn't have hesitated for a minute! The help we got from Rachel and Core Events was THE best money we spent for anything in the wedding planning. We met with Rachel a couple times and reviewed our plans for the day. She was AMAZING - helping smooth out final details at the rehearsal, checking our sound system/music selections, and providing suggestions for different ways to handle the various traditional elements. The day of, while my mother and I had our hair and makeup done, she checked in at the reception venue and ensured the cake and flowers were delivered and set up properly and the banquet room was set up according to our specs. She also placed our favors, guest book, and other little personal touches we wanted at the reception. That sorted, she booked it over to our ceremony location and helped distribute programs, herded family members and the wedding party here and there so the photographer could get as many pre-wedding family pics as possible. While we stayed behind for photos, she headed to the reception and helped get our guests started on nibbles and cocktails, even cueing our playlist for each part of the reception. Once we arrived, she announced our arrival and got our first dance music going. All this on a day she wasn't feeling too great! We are SO grateful to have had the help of someone so professional, organized, and reliable. Her help let us just relaxed, visit with family, and enjoy the day rather than running around and checking on vendors, set up and details. I cannot recommend Core Events highly enough to anyone planning a wedding or large scale event where you'd actually like to be able to enjoy the event and your guests.

She offers a wide range of services, but I chose her for the "day of" coordination. Upon my initial meeting with her, she came prepared and fully listened to my needs. I want to know that she is available when I need her, and that gives me a ton of security with her services. Kimberly is professional, on time and came with glowing reviews. I can't wait to work with her on my big day. She has definitely lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. If you're in the need for event planning, give Kimberly a call, you won't be disappointed.

I interviewed 6 coordinators. I love the people and they showed me some nice things but they were very Florida style in personality and aesthetic. Kim was fresh and could hear my individual preferences and design peculiarities. I did my per-planning right down to spread sheets of timing but when I needed an opinion or feedback, she was right there, easily accessible and real in feedback. I have since recommended her to everyone I can and they have loved her, too. She can pick up and run with ideas in all style senses, doing DIY, casual chic, classy chic, and ballroom formal, from beach weddings to museum. In this, I feel she is truly classy herself, spanning all styles and needs, standing apart from any expectations to pull together a coordinated and unique event each time.

Throughout every…read morestep of our journey, we were reassured that our needs and desires would be met because of Karen's precision and expertise. Her attention to detail was evident in every aspect of wedding planning such as fine details in vendor contracts, coordinating two the three vendors at once for me and my busy schedule, to the various changes I made to our wedding design leading up to wedding day. Karen not only looked fabulous at every meeting, but she attended each meeting with her sparkling personality that elevated my mood even on the most stressful weeks with work and wedding planning. Sharing our incredible year collaborating with Karen added a layer of comfort knowing she had things handled. I was especially appreciative of her flexibility with my healthcare schedule; Karen would give me feedback on questions in late parts of the evening while I crafted after my shifts. On our wedding day, Karen's staff Maddie and Sydney brought support, coaching, and motivation to both my husband and myself. Whether I needed a pep talk, more lipstick, or even drink, Maddie was the best bridal concierge I could ask for! We will miss getting to meet with Karen on a monthly basis, but are incredibly proud to call our wedding an Eventfull Wedding. Your future clients are extremely lucky to have you and your team Karen. Thank you again for helping me survive and thrive wedding planning and wedding day!

Didn't work with Simon much, but when we did he backtracked on a lot of his answers to questions. No one could give me a solid answer on lights. Lights were supposedly hung by a licensed electrician. I've never seen a licensed electrician leave power cords with exposed openings hanging on the side of the building. Sue is great for trying to make the property's problem, your problem. If you use this property, please please please, get a day of coordinator to handle the mess of Sue and Simon (Jake has been MIA for months)! It was a shame to learn a week prior that Sarah, our wedding planner for the past year, would be unable to attend our events. As expected (without the original wedding planner) a few things went wrong along the way. I confronted Sue, the owner, with the issues in writing via email and she made it right with us in the end. We are confident since the company took responsibility we will be able to put the small things behind us in our future memories of our big day with the closure we received. It was a beautiful day on Clearwater Beach and we do have a lot to applaud Sun Coast Wedding for! I just wish it was perfect, but doesn't every bride? :) My advice: read your contract and make sure your original planner will be at your wedding! There were a few things I was promised and/or misunderstood with my original planner. Such as, Sun Coast is not your wedding "coordinators". They are your wedding "planners". Example: If you have things that need to be set up (like personal decor) they are not responsible for setting it up because it is not in the contract. So make sure everything is in writing in the contract, not just agreed upon via email or phone. Congratulations and good luck!

Ms. Amber made sure that although we were doing a destination wedding, we were in great hands on every aspect! Ms. Amber is literally super woman and the best planner of all time! She was real with us when she needed to be (especially about our budget, our interesting families, and being on time), had our back when only TWO people, besides our parents, showed up to rehearsal, and was there for every phone call, moment of freaking out, both of our questions.concerns, Type-A personalities, text messages, and wedding planning meeting. I am definitely a type A personality and have a hard time relinquishing control to anyone else, but I have to say she is the only one I could entrust with all tasks related to our wedding day and I was fully confident knowing she had everything (and everyone!) totally handled. From the first day I met with her, I literally went from crying the night before, to smiling ear to ear by the time my fiance arrived at the meeting. Even he said, "I don't know what happened in there, but she's worth her weight in gold just to have this stress off your shoulders!" We had the most exquisite wedding at the Salvador Dali museum, but had to bring in every single vendor, which involved a LOT of moving parts. On top of that, Jennifer helped come up with the design concept for what ended up being a highly stylized wedding, so there were a zillion details to keep track of...and she did it for me so I was able to enjoy it. Every time I sent her an email or a text questioning if something had been done she was already two steps ahead of me. I can't tell you what a relief that was and how much confidence in gave me to relinquish that stress to someone else so I could enjoy the process. She was invaluable in her recommendations for vendors, and that she already had established relationships with top-of-the-line people made me feel so much better. It made everything SO easy!!! She was my one go-to person and handled all the direct communication with vendors; it really streamlined the whole process. Even the few hiccups we did run into, Jennifer tried to handle them and/or come up with solutions before she ever came to me about them in order to minimize my stress! The wedding day itself was a breeze. I literally didn't have to do a thing besides get dressed and show up. We did a first look at the museum, and she was there the whole time managing vendors and set up, and long after we left cleaning up. She even returned any necessary items to vendors and donated our flowers for me!! I can't recommend Jennifer highly enough for any and all planning services. She was priceless to me. She not only helped me design and plan the wedding of my dreams...she was the reason I could enjoy it. Thank you Jennifer!!!
