Phone just rings and rings. No one answers. Not sure if this business is still open.

Do not go with these scam artists. I called Samsung to replace a simple door bin on my fridge, still within warranty. They sent these guys to come and assess if the bin had suffered damage due to 'heavily forced usage'. Before taking a look at it, the technician tried to sell me on purchasing a support warranty for 2 years on all my appliances in my house. Once I said no, he went away and said he would phone my problem in. He came back saying they wouldn't replace this cheaply produced, plastic bin which they said I should go buy another one for for $40. They obviously weren't interested in helping me unless I bought into their stupid service. I called Samsung again to complain, and they gladly sent me another bin at no cost. Beware PDQ REPAIR! read more

What a great service organization. From the first call, the folks understood my problem and worked with me to send out a technician. Stever was on time, let me know when he was 20 minutes away. He followed Covid masking protocols. The repair he performed was complete and he indicated a second issue concerning the ice make on the fridge that I will now need to communicate with the manufacturer in order to get an exemption from the parts & labor warrantee for this known defect. I can highly recommend PDQ. read more

I have one of those Samsung fridges that has a defective ice maker. I'd been dreading getting it repaired because every time I'd tried calling Samsung before, I would be on hold for hours and end up with someone who would not help. However this time, I messaged Samsung on Facebook and they quickly set me up to get it checked out by PDQ Repair as an authorized dealer. Blake from PDQ was extremely knowledgable, personable, and helpful. I'd been dreading getting this repaired and he made it so easy. He also reassured me in knowing that if for some reason the repair didn't fix the ice maker, they guarantee their work for 90 days so I could call back if needed. Thanks Blake! read more

Their labor is extremely high, about $120 an hour. I called to schedule a repair to my dryer to replace the heating unit. The dryer still works just no heat, this was explained on the phone. We asked if it would it be about 2-3 hundred to fix, the representative on the phone said "that's about right parts and labor are cheap." Anything more than that, it wouldn't make sense to fix. The technician shows up, tells us the dryer is working but the heating unit is out, which we already knew and discussed on the phone. He says is $135 for the diagnostic and $450 to fix it, but the $135 would go towards that. I reached out to management and they said their representatives never mention quotes on the phone, though they did saying the repair was around 2-3 hundred. They played the recording for me yet it sounded like it had been chopped off and was edited. It went from saying hello and then made weird noise and jumped to the middle of the conversation. This company doesn't provide a good service and is in the business of telling you one thing and getting you for locked in for a higher rate. I wouldn't recommend what so ever, management is dishonest. read more

Called company as I was referred to them by a previous customer, I also called 3 others to cover my bases. Not only were they they first to respond, their response was professional and quick. Took a couple weeks from initial call to finish (they were super busy) but I'm sooo happy! They diagnosed the problem with our Samsung Washer, ordered the part and installed with great care and professionalism. We rec'd text message reminders the day before and about 15 minutes before arrival. Steve was courteous, followed Covid protocols and was friendly. While I'll never again purchase a Samsung product (seriously do your research they are awful), I will however use this company and recommend them highly every time! Thank you PDQ, Happy New Year! read more

I have tried several different phone numbers today and have not been able to get the emergency service for a refrigerator that is not working this refrigerator was repaired by PDQ appliance less than two months ago it is not cooling and I can't get anybody on the telephone who seems to understand that this is an emergency and I need help now I don't need it tomorrow tomorrow is the best that they can do evidently and I have to live with it but I certainly am not a happy camper I don't think any firm should expect a good report with Service like this read more

I had a warranty claim from a major appliance company that was serviced by PDQ. The appliance company was very difficult to deal with, they reassigned the service to several repair places multiple times. Only PDQ put me first. They recognized my schedule was challenging with travel and did everything they could to fit my needs. The scheduler called me regularly to keep me up to date with the appliance warranty claim department who was the one setting everything up and frankly doing a terrible job, but PDQ was the only group I talked to that worked hard to make sure I got the service. The technician was friendly and quick, he explained the process and what to expect after the repair. read more

So this company will not give any kind of estimate for a repair. Our LG refrigerator stopped working and we believe its the compressor. So I called to ask if they could look back in their records to show what the average cost for installing a new compressor in an LG refrigerator. I was told company policy does not allow them to quote anything. So I have to pay them $140 to come out to our home to look at the refrigerator and tell us we need the compressor and the cost. Now the problem I have with this is if the cost is going to be $1500 then I would most likely just replace my 7 year old refrigerator. The gotcha you have the pay the $140 and you only get credit for that if you go ahead with the repair. Based on this I will try another company because I am sure that they can tell me what a ball park number is. If they were to say it takes 5 hours and the part is $350 and it ends up being 8 hours and $350 due to problems that is okay, but I am not paying $140 to have someone tell me what they could have told me over the phone. read more

I have a Samsung washer. It hadn't been working and it kept having an error code S5. The owners manual suggests it has something to do with drainage. The repair tech came out and evaluated my machine, worked on it for two hours and concluded that the drain hose was plugged. Subsequently chastised me for a poop bag and poop bag holder that was in the line and charged me almost $400 to clear it. The error occurred again within two weeks of using the machine. I called and the tech returned and told me an arm that runs the tub was broken and I would need to replace the washer. I called another company, A & E, they took a month to come, determined that the drain pump was no longer working, ordered it at no cost to me, as it was still under warranty, replaced it and charged me $150 for labor and it is working as a brand new washer! I feel as though I was taken advantage by this company, by not having competent repair people and I was overcharged. In addition I was solicited with a hard sell to purchase their warranty for appliances that they don't really repair. read more

Today PDQ came to repair our double oven range that had stopped working. Maxwell, the technician, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it in minutes. He checked both ovens to make sure they were running properly. Maxwell was professional, efficient, friendly and was excellent at explaining everything he was doing. I could not recommend this company more for any assistance you may have with reairs in the future. We purchased the appliance from Lowes and they had sent 3 other repair techs from another company who could not repair the appliance at any to those appointments. But Maxwell at PDQ did in only one appointment. We had been without the ovens for a month a half. I also want to point out that Toni in the office was the best when I was setting up the appointment. She was professional, friendly, and very helpful helping me schedule the quickest appointment available. The people at this company are amazing! read more

I was scheduled with PDQ Repair Services through their contract with Lowe's for warranty work. They were booked out a few weeks(everyone is, not mad about that). I arranged to be home for the day as their appointment window is 8am - 4pm (typical of the service industry, not mad about that). They didn't call or show up. I called today to find out what happened. They claim to have no information on my work order. I received a confirmation text from Lowe's - are you telling me that Lowe's is not communicating the same information with your company? Lowe's offered to reschedule. I asked them to schedule with a different provider. Now my washer is out of commission for another few weeks. We can only do what we can do, and I get that. But own it. Communicate. read more

This was my first encounter with this company. What a pleasant surprise to deal with Steven, a repairman that really knew his trade. He was prompt and on time, quick and definitely knew exactly what he was doing. Very well trained with Samsung products, had the parts on hand, talked to me about appliances in today's world, and assured me I chose appliances that should last another five years or more on average. As for PDQ Repair Services, they did a nice job of scheduling, sending me text msgs and phone calls to update/confirm my appointment, then sent me a message including a photo of Steven, his telephone number, his route to my home and his arrival time. Everything worked exceedingly well! read more

PDQ came to help with an installation issue that was the fault of the refrigerator manufacturer. The manufacturer was incredibly difficult and they sent PDQ. Our PDQ tech couldn't resolve the issue with the manufacturer and decided to go above and beyond to fix the problem himself. He was extremely courteous and professional. He also wore a mask the entire time (I have a bunch of unvaccinated children). Overall it was great service. read more

Absolute trash repair service that doesn't communicate clearly and doesn't take any responsibility for their behavior, will leave in the middle of a job and not do any work. Story: my refrigerator failed two days before christmas. It has an extended warranty through Home Depot. they hired these assclowns to fullfill it. they called me 3 goddamn times over christmas to "confirm" this appointment without giving me any time window. it gets much worse. Technician named Carey shows up. Does absolutely nothing. literally nothing. doesn't attempt to open the refrigerator, doesn't ask what happened, tells me he cannot diagnose it (we've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas). and starts to leave. i had to ASK for a card to communicate with his office about next steps. this was not a concern for them at all. i call their office. explain the situation. some equally irresponsible person named Shawna tells me that they are not responsible for anything, that my warranty is through Home Depot, but that they can send another tech out if i move the refrigerator from the wall. after i ask them if they could've communicated that to me before scheduling the initial service, so we wouldn't have had to go through all that, she tells me that now she's personally upset and will cancel the job altogether to spite me. read more

LG recommended four companies for warranty repair, three had abysmal reviews. PDQ's was average, but they delivered. Very professional: company van, on-time, heads-up phone call, dispatch is professional, repairperson was pleasant and I felt comfortable with him in the house. They needed to order a part, but turnaround time was faster than promised. Appliance Repair can be an awful experience, so these seem to be one of the good guys. read more

Ya know, sometimes these new appliances have more gremlins than a 1980s movie. The team at PDQ came.out yesterday and did a bang up job to get my Samsung fridge up and running. However, a gremlin showed up. Luckily, PDQ is AWESOME and they were out same day to track down that gremlin and get it out of here. What amazing service from Joe and his entire team! I've had an interesting couple of visits from this company... I have a Samsung washer that broke while under warranty. The first tech out was full of lies, lied to me, lied to his company, I was informed he was fired from his position because of that visit. Long story short, the washer was still broken after that guy, so out came guy #2. #2 came, didn't say a work other than hello and got right to work, he did some drilling and some other banging around, said he would need to come back after ordering some parts and specifically said, do not use your washer. I was totally in shock, don't use the washer?? until when? he couldn't give me a day but he said at least a week.... Naturally, I was blindsided by this info, I wasn't expecting to be out of a washing machine for a week, (baby due in 5 days and potty training my toddlers) I NEEDED A WASHER. I would have waited to call had I know I would l would be out of commission for "at least a week". Well, I contacted David, the office manager, explained I felt like I was receiving bad service (and why) He then turned on me, said I was lying, quoted some proverb and told me they wouldn't be assisting me any further. Can they really just drop me MID PROJECT like that? Any company who would drop a client in the middle of a project after telling them to not use their washer is a BAD COMPANY. I would advise against them if you can help it. read more

I wish I could post photos, instead, I'll copy and paste an email I received from the owner in response to my Samsung refrigerator repair (ice maker). The courteous and professional technician serviced my ice maker but unfortunately left a dent in the refrigerator. I completed a Samsung survey regarding my experience with PDQ and answered the questions honestly (prior to PDQ's decision of whether they were at fault). Beware, this company will force you to sign a release of claims/waiver saying that any damage to your appliance in the course of repair other than "gross negligence" is not PDQ's fault. By the way, neither Samsung, the scheduler, or the technician asked me to move the refrigerator myself for repair: "Dear Shilena, Thank you for sharing your recent experience with PDQ Repair Services, LLC. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and we're very sorry you were unhappy with your experience. It is a shame that you did not wait for the process to be completed before you chose to express your opinion. I was about to give you the new door even though you released PDQ from any claim for damages when you asked us to move your appliance to do the repairs. But when I read the survey you completed before we had completed our investigation, it made me take a second look. All manufacturers make it the customer's responsibility to have the appliance in a serviceable position for repairs. You could have moved it yourself, but you wanted us to do it. You read the waiver and signed it. Nevertheless, we did not stand on that but agreed to come out and investigate. After review, I was going to offer you a new door installed as soon as we could procure one from Samsung. But your impatience and terrible survey about PDQ has seriously jeopardized that option. You need to give people the opportunity to do what is right. You didn't in this case. You cannot un-ring a bell (your survey) but there is a chance for this to end well. If you are willing to discuss this politely and accept your role in the mess now before us both, perhaps you can still get that new door. Please respond to this email if that is your wish, and I will tell what I am willing to do for you. Sincerely, David Currens- Owner" read more

Strange noises coming from my refrigerator. I called Samsung, and they forwarded me to PDQ Repair services. I promptly received a call back from Tony who left a voice message. When I called back to discuss my situation, the person I spoke to (not Tony) was not at all helpful, and was sort of rude. Now, looking through the owners responses to poor reviews, I'm glad i didn't have them come out. You can tell a lot about how thw company operates by the attitude of the owner in responding to reviews, so I'd encourage you to read and judge for yourself. Of course, I've never communicated with him personally, so that's just based on what he's posting here. Would not do business with this company. read more

After a power failure, our refrigerator stopped working the week before Christmas. This company has been to our house under an extended warranty through Asurion. Their first time out was December 23, 2020. It is now February 11, 2021. They've been out five times now, in the middle of a pandemic; each time, it's something else That's the reason it's not working. The second time they were out, we were told by the tech that it was fixed and they were closing the claim. It was not fixed and did not cool. This resulted in us having to open a "new" claim. Asurion said they couldn't find records of What was done during the first claim. Twice over the visits I heard the tech telling someone over the phone that the fridge was fixed. We bought refrigerator and freezer thermometers which showed temperatures well above cool. We were told we needed to buy another $50 water filter, even though the filter was less than a month old, that that was the problem with water in the door not working. Now we are waiting for a door to be made because the water and ice are also not working, (hasn't been the whole time.) Five repairs, five visits during a pandemic, almost seven weeks without a refrigerator (we have a small one on our patio we're using, in the middle of winter, having to go in and out of the house multiple times a day). Now, who knows how long the door will take since it's on "back order." We reached out to the warranty company, Asurion, and their records from the repair company say that the refrigerator is cooling, and has never been reported that it wasn't after the initial visit. It has not cooled since its initial breakdown when it initially stopped working in December. I have zero confidence with them. To me, it appears they are stretching repairs out as long as possible so they can make more visits and charge more money. I don't understand why Asurion would pay out so much money for visits and repairs instead of replacing it. Asurion has been a nightmare, as well, but that's a different review. (After reaching out to Home Depot and Asurion again, they reviewed all records and finally deemed the refrigerator unrepairable and refunded our original purchase price. We finally got our new fridge installed yesterday, 2/23. Two full months without a refrigerator. read more

I called PDQ to service a washing machine and oven. I assume that the 2 appliance repairs would be covered by one service charge since the repair man only made one trip. I WAS NOT TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR 2 SERVICE CALLS FOR ONE VISIT until the repair man was totaling my bills!! And was not told that were I live there would be an extra service charge. If I had known about the double charge, I would like looked for another repair service. My problems with both appliances were easy fixes. The repair man was good at explaining next steps if needed. If need further repairs, will NOT be contacting PDQ. read more

I just had PDQ repair my refrigerator. It is a Samsung. Two other repair shops turned me down because it was a Samsung. I guess Samsung doesn't have a good track record of repairs being successful. PDQ came out at the request of Samsung Corporate and told me up front that the charge would be $140 if I didn't do the repairs or it would be the cost of the estimate that I would be given by the technician. It was only $293 so that was good. The young man technician has only been with the company about six months. He was excellent: calm, quick, clean and sweet. The price was decent given the scope of work and timely install. I couldn't be happier with this company and will use them for all my needs going forward. Covid responsible and super polite. read more

Take your business elsewhere. We spent almost $500 on the last Samsung refrigerator repair with PDQ, within a month the refrigerator was back to making the same LOUD fan noises at Christmas time. I left 4 phone messages with PDQ about the problem and they never returned my calls. Cell phone records show all of my phone calls, and that they never called me back. When they finally returned a new phone call a few months later they told me that my 3 month warranty on their repair was expired and they would charge me to come out again. What the heck, if they had come out when I called them I wouldn't have had to purchase a new refrigerator! read more

I just wanted to share a very positive experience I've had with PDQ. They were the service company that Samsung connected me with to diagnose some strange issues with a TV I purchased from Costco late last year. The technician, Kyle, came out last week and was able to quickly pull up some information from the TV to determine the problem. He had to order parts and was then out the following week to replace them and get everything working again. Every experience I had with PDQ went great, from arranging the appointments to Kyle's awesome work in my home. And given this crazy time with the COVID-19 pandemic, I really appreciated the precautions Kyle took and his very positive attitude about the whole thing. Thank you Kyle & PDQ for getting my TV working perfectly again! read more

Great office staff and technician. A pleasure to work with and great workmanship.

Terrible! The tech was a pleasant guy. He was looking for a water leak that was setting off the leak sensor that detects a leak so the dishwasher thinks there is water in the reservoir. The pump continuously ran and I could not reset the unit. I had to turn off the breaker. Upon pulling the unit out their were mouse droppings. I understand that mice like to chew rubber hoses etc. Tech checked all the hoses and other possible parts that could leak water. He found nothing to indicate the mouse chewed anything. He wiped the water from the water leak sensor trey and put the unit back in place. He told me of it happened again he would come out and look at it. The next day the issue happened again. I called PDQ. The woman told me that if the tech came out and doesn't find a leak that I would be charged a $99 service call charge!. She stated that Samsung would not reimburse them if this happened. The only way that I can get the unit replaced is a tech has to determine if the unit is not repairable, therefor, a tech must come out to report to Samsung it's not repairable. What sense does it make to have a tech come out again only to find that they can't find the leak. I was not about to pay them $99!!!!!... Samsung support told me that if the tech did not find the leak the next time that I would not be charged. PDQ insisted that i could not make an appointment unless I agreed to pay $99 if the tech could not find the leak. I said absolutely not and that I was going to call Samsung. Samsung support was wonderful!. After talking with the guy he understood my frustration and was committed to resolving the issue. I told him I was not going to agree to pay anything. He then told me that they require a second opinion and set me up with another repair company that they use. Do yourself a favor and request the other warranty repair companies that Samsung has on file to make the repair call. PDQ IS NOT THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN Even though the leak was not discovered that has nothing to do with me and should not play a role in the outcome of this issue. Simple solution: no evidence that a mouse caused any problems. No leak was found yet water is leaking from somewhere. If the tech can't find a leak then it should be deemed as non repairable. How can you repair something if you can't find the leak or problem. While speaking with PDQ I felt like I was going to be stuck with a $500 dishwasher with no recourse of a replacement. DO NOT SUPPORT PDQ. CALL SAMSUNG SUPPORT DIRECTLY AND REQUEST ANYONE ELSE OTHER THEN PDQ. IF YOU CALL HOME DEPOT ETC I THINK PDQ IS AUTOMATICALLY CALLED FIRST. read more

I posted this review last week, but someone removed it. So, here it is again: On or about April 23rd, I called PDQ Repair Services, as they were listed as an LG appliance certified repair service. Michael C arrived on the morning of April 28th to repair our LG washing machine. His diagnosis was a bad clutch assembly, and he quoted a repair cost of $450.58 and asked for 50% up front. PDQ was paid $225.00 as requested. On May 5th, Michael returned with the clutch assembly, but quickly reported that he was unable to install it as he could not remove the wash plate. He should have determined that the wash plate was a problem on his previous visit, but apparently did not. Michael asked for and was paid another $56.57 for a new wash plate. The repair quote is now $511.90. On May 14, Michael again arrived and removed the original wash plate (something he should have done on his first visit). Michael then declared the washer "unrepairable" and asked for an additional $56.89. When I asked Michael why a determination of unrepairable was not made on his first visit, he became rude and confrontational. I asked Michael how we could resolve this, I was told that I would get a call from the office, but of course no one has ever called. Michael left and took the parts with him. When I called PDQ's office number to ask why it took three service calls to deem an appliance unrepairable, all I got was attitude. As of today, they have refused to contact me or attempt to resolve this issue. I would never use them again. read more

I had an appointment with this company to repair my Samsung dryer (for some reason this company is samsung authorized service center). So, they called my primary contact number (my cellphone) before the appointment from a PRIVATE number. My phone is setup to not accept calls from Private and Unknown numbers because of all the call spamming and robo calls going on these days. So, my phone rejects the call and this guy doesn't even leave a voicemail which basically means I have no idea that he's gonna be out here to repair my dryer. Now, they are saying its a no-show on my part and are gonna charge me a fee anyway. Absolute trash, avoid at all costs. read more

This place is a total rip-off. They come to your house under the condition you pay for the diagnosis costing $99, then they give you a quote for the repair, which in my case was $975. Then the technician said "you can accept and pay for the repair now, or if I leave, the quote is void and you'd have to have the issue re-diagnosed again for another $99." They put a gun to my head, and since the manufacturer was involved in potentially sharing the costs, I was faced with a take it or leave it offer with zero grace period to confer with the manufacturer. This outfit is now part of a national chain called Asurion Repair Services. Don't do business with these unscrupulous actors. read more

I had a terrific experience with Julius, except for the cost of fixing my Samsung refridgerator. Why 5 stars then? Because Julius called me 3 times beforehand to inform me of his arrival time, because he showed me information about my fridge that was not written down in the Maintenance booklet (given to me by previous owner), and because he suggested a way in which I am going to try to get a refund -- because my fridge suffers from a known defect, for which Samsung has now prepared a special installation kit. Also, I liked the professional receptionist answering the phone, her in-depth questions, and the accommodating, quick date they could book my appointment. And Julius knew exactly what my problem was when he showed up, so that means their internal communications was up to snuff as well. Thank you! read more

If I could choose zero stars that would be preferable. Steve a unfriendly unprofessional man. He looked at me in my eyes and told me that I just need to figure out how to use my dryer. He didn't want to take the time to explain. When I asked him to show me what he was talking about his face turned bright red his side with inconvenience. His talk down to me as if I was completely incompetent. I am a mother of three and have done a few loads of laundry in my lifetime so to tell me that I need to just figure out how to use a dryer is beyond hurtful and downright untrue. When I contacted the manager Shawna she said that she couldn't imagine Steve ever behaving that way that they had been coworkers for six years...Talk about unprofessional. Talk about a biased opinion. Choosing to take sides of the friend as opposed to professionally analyzing the situation.
