Repairman seemed likable and knowledgeable but pump was not available for washer and he stated "not repairable" on receipt, The machine was not fixed and I was charged $185. They did not honor "no fix, no fee" policy as with other companies I researched. I requested at least partial refund as he did show up and attempted repair. It was on his recommendation we ordered from Amazon a comparable pump which leaked, and they are using that as defense as it is not on warranty. Insane! The repairman told us the part to order. I already had the part to our washer and I told them that on the phone. They also gave me the cost on the phone. When the tech showed up he told me they couldn't warranty a part they didn't buy. They were all booked 2-4 weeks out and quoted $350 (or more) if it needed a drain pump. I called this company because it is the best in Clark County and Kyle came out yesterday to diagnose my oven and repaired it the day before Thanksgiving. I am living in a new apartment and had reported the stove issues to the property management. The maintenance man said there wasn't anything wrong with the burners. Two burners never got hot. I called Appliance Clinic risking having to pay out of pocket and Kyle was able to show the property management that there was a new part required. Because of him, I did not have to pay for the service. All day I was thanking the Universe for this wonderful man and gift. Well, wonderful company in general as Jess was great on the phone when I called. Although I believe there are good companies and people out there, it was my pleasure to be validated. HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. My family has been using this company for decades but I'll never give them another cent. My 10 year old Speed Queen dryer broke and they could not get the part. So I bought a new front loading Whirlpool Wash and Dryer. After I paid $2,200 they called wanting more money saying they didn't charge enough for the install. Then it came broken. Had to wait a day for a tech to fix it. I've had it less than 24 hours. I'm doing laundry now and the clothes have been in the dryer over an hour and a half on high heat and they are ICE COLD. I've changed all the option and settings and it will not heat up. I called and explained this and the lady said she can't get a tech to look at it until tomorrow. I've had to Cancel multiple plans to be home for them to "fix" it. They are late to their appointments and don't treat the customers time with value. Meanwhile this is the third time out, over a week without being able to do laundry. They sold me a piece of shit and are doing nothing to make this right. They treat the customers like they are a problem and are annoyed to help. As soon as you give them the money, they don't give a crap about helping you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Initially, I called them for a washing machine running out of balance issue, and the service person identified several parts that needed replacement. We agreed to the repairs, waited nearly a month for the parts, and upon installation, the problem persisted. We decided to give it a few days, but the issue remained. When we called back, the same technician suggested changing the foam and mentioned an additional part that would cost $120, without guaranteeing it would solve the problem. This lack of assurance was disappointing, especially after spending nearly $600 on repairs. When I reached out to the office, the representative was dismissive and rude, suggesting it was our fault for running too many loads, which isn't accurate. I asked for the owner, who echoed the same dismissive tone and refused to offer a refund, stating that they couldn't predict the outcome of repairs. We video taped every single load including videos of the issue, we were offered only $200 in store credit, which we declined. The staff's attitude throughout this process was unprofessional, often blaming us as customers instead of taking responsibility for their service. In the end, the technician himself acknowledged that this model Maytag had known issues and recommended a Speed Queen, which we plan to purchase--just not from Application Clinic. I strongly advise against using their services based on this experience. Save your time and money; it's not worth the hassle.We are going to tell our friends , family and clients about this experience. Bought a new refrigerator , paid for it and for installation and Haul away old one. The new one arrived (with one delievery person), moved out old one out of the way and installed new one. Said he can't haul away the old one (even though we paid for it), saying it was too big and they would need an additional person to help him, and we would have to pay $65. more for the additional person. They never asked about size when we bought the new one. It took several days for them to arrange to haul the old one away which had to sit in our dining room. After 3 days, we woke up to water all over the floor, warping 3/4 of the flooring...I guess old ice leaked from somewhere, and they should have told us to plug in the old one or something. All they said when I called was...sorry... They finally showed up with 2 guys to haul away the old one and still had to pay the $65 additional price. Very bad communication with counter people during the sell, and bad communication with the delivery person who should have mentioned keeping old one plugged in. Do not recommend this company. I was so excited at first, and then sooo disappointed. Now we have a floor to fix. read more

Bought a stove from them in 2021, A Whirlpool Electric. Worst appliance I ever owned and realize that The Appliance Clinic didn't manufacture it but it's poor performance was known at time of sale/installation but I wasn't advised until a couple of weeks later when I visited them and the salesperson that demoed it to me told me of all the complaints they had been having over the past several months. THAT would have been a game-changer for me. But too late AFTER installed. The stove quit working in 2024 and I called for service. I have always had good service in the past with several appliances I have purchased from them and had them install. However, this time when I advised that I could only see a tech after 1100 AM any day, I was told that I would have to make a CC deposit and I would be informed of the day/time and if I couldn't comply with the tech's time, I would be fined $25.00 and would have to reschedule. I advised that it was NOT possible for me to schedule ANYTHING before 1100 AM on ANY day but got no where. I hung up. These people seem to have forgotten that I am the customer and that they are here for MY convenience, not the other way around. I won't use them again for purchases or repair and I will advise anybody I talk to not to use them. They lost a lot of business over $25. read more

My fridge had a small leak in water line... had these guys out to fix it... was quoted $200 ish to come out to fix... but then given a $319 quote after they come out... I still had to pay $119 for the visit. Ridiculous... My 10-yr old upright freezer (Kenmore, manufactured by Frigidaire) quit holding proper temperature. Kyle arrived 10 min before schedule and in about 30 min diagnosed the issue as the thermostat. In addition, he said that while the fan was functioning, it was showing only half the power it should have. So (for $38 for the part) I decided to add that to the repair. Their charge was $114 to show up and diagnose the issue, which would apply to any repairs if I decided to do them, which I did. The grand total was $379 (including $30 sales tax), less than half the price of the lowest comparable unit I could find and the lowest priced one The Wirecutter would recommend was $1100 (not including sales tax). They guarantee parts for one year, labor for 90 days. Parts were available on the truck so all done and tested in less than two hours. The only way this could have been any better was if it could have been scheduled sooner, but four business days was about a third the time a competitor I've used before quoted. read more

Seems like we aren't the only ones here with the heating element complaint. We had somebody come over after we called and let them know that the heating element needs to be replaced. They came over just to do a test and tell my elderly mother that the heating element needs to be replaced and charged her $120. From the time in yo time out on the invoice it was about 10-15minz. Called their office and spoke to manager but she said that's the kind of work they do everyday. Definitely won't be taking my business here in the future. read more

Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon as our dishwasher is on the way out and we were the only people in the place wearing masks ): there were 6 or more employees without masks & it made us pretty uncomfortable. The displays were clean and well labeled and the woman who helped us was nice enough but we chose not to purchase from them due to their lack of regard. I get it can be annoying to wear a mask but out of respect for the lives of your customers it's not that hard to pull your mask on when someone walks into the door. I ordered a seal and bearing kit for a Neptune washer. Since I could get the entire kit on Ama*** for less that $30 I figured their price of $73 would include everything with factory parts. I picked the kit up the next day and unfortunately, I made the mistake of not inspecting it closely enough and paying for it. The next day I returned it - unopened - with a picture of what was supposed to be in the kit. There were 3 ladies (who never smiled) there that demonstrated they didn't know what a bearing looked like and spent almost 15 minutes trying to figure out why the kit didn't look like the picture. Finally, they told me the bearings are not available separately and were part of the tub. (This is NOT correct - the bearings are available separately.). Finally, they gave me a refund MINUS a 20% restocking charge. It cost me over $16 to walk in their door because I didn't do due diligence and paid for the part without inspecting it thoroughly and asking questions before paying for it. Our technician was outstanding! We needed our dishwasher pump replaced, but the technician immediately noticed several mistakes that our contractor made when installing the dishwasher. He stated the mistakes clearly and very respectfully without judgment. He offered to fix everything for no extra labor charge. He assured me that all repairs would fall within the one hour minimum charge time frame. This company built my trust up about 20 years ago when I called about a problem with my dryer. They said they would be happy to help me, but if I wanted to do it myself, I could easily repair it after viewing a YouTube video. They fit so perfect it looks like the cabinets were made for them. He somehow managed to correct problems with the existing cabinets that previous installers ignored. Beware of undisclosed charges! I just received a $125 invoice for a service visit. Appliance Clinic failed to disclose that there would be a charge. Not the office who scheduled the appointment. Not the tech who came to the house. We purchased a new microwave which included a $195 delivery and install charge included on 8/1/23. That initial fee was disclosed. The new microwave was installed on 8/8/23. It worked for only one week before we experienced sparks, electrical burning smells and what sounded like a bomb going off on 8/15/23. This was in the first 5-10 uses of the new unit. We called Appliance Clinic right away and requested a tech come inspect it. They came out on 8/18/23. We didn't use it between the malfunction and the tech visit. During his visit, he inspected the unit to diagnose the issue. He was unable to identify an issue or recreate the alarming malfunction that we had experienced 3-days earlier. He left us with a statement showing no bill and a "0" for in the labor column. Paying a fee for his inspection was never mentioned by anyone on multiple calls with the office or his visit. Today we receive a bill for $125. The office manager Stacie says that is how warranties work and someone who purchases an appliance should know that there will be a service fee if the issue cannot be recreated during the visit. I disagree. I think the appliance company should disclose how they will be billing clients and take responsibility for the unit they sold us & installed malfunctioning in the first week. Offering to have a tech inspect and confirm it was installed correctly at no charge seems completely reasonable and was my expectation. The invoice in the mail was the first mention of a site visit fee. Not a good look. Take your business elsewhere. read more

A go to for your home appliance repair. I called Appliance Clinic as they were a factory authorized repair service for my gas range. The technician who came out, Shaun, was prompt and informative. He took me through the elements of the range and the problems that he was seeing and what the repair was going to run. After I made the repair personally (not always the best idea) based on what it was that Shaun had identified. This was the correct part, but I knew I was missing something in the repair. I called them back out again to address an additional issue and Shaun again came and made a few minor adjustments that only a great tech can. Honestly, paying for their great service is well worth it. The customer service representatives at the Appliance Clinic are ready to help and squeeze you in whenever they can and the techs that are sent to the house really know what they are doing.
