The day I was there, one of their suppliers dropped off some freshly baked sourdough loaves, still hot from the oven. There were also containers of locally baked cookies being sold near the register, which I regretted not buying during my drive back to the Bay! Plenty of jarred oils, spices, and sauces too. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in the area. Maybe they'll have those cookies again!

The owners were so professional and helpful in their instructions on designing flowers. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We would recommend it as a great way to get a few girls together at their shop and enjoy appetizers and wine. We walked away with a lovely flower to take home. And don't forget to shop in their business. They have beautiful pre-made flowers and other items to choose from in addition to special ordering flowers that would fit your color scheme and decor. This place looks very tiny from the outside, but actually has a lot of stock. Don't be surprised if…read moreit always looks like a dud of a store judging by the cars in the parking lot; the "store hours" are pretty lame, even by Stockton standards. According to the Events Calendar, the store is CLOSED every weekday, except Friday, when it's open Noon-6pm. Oh, but not on Sept. 26, when it's CLOSED. Open Sat/Sun from 10:30am-5:00, but not on Sept 27-28, when it's CLOSED. Five classes are offered during this month, all of them on days the store is closed. So how is it that they're celebrating its 4-year anniversary? How much business is this store pulling in? By the way, did I mention they don't charge sales tax here? But to make up for it, the prices seem a little steep, even by scrapbooking standards. If you're looking for stickers, this place has lots of 'em. If you're looking for anything wedding-related, this place does not have 'em. At all. 12x12 paper is plentiful here, but a pain to look through, because they're displayed several layers deep per paper tray. Katie's provided tabs to separate the different patterns, and also has them separated by category (sports, beach, etc), but it's still very time consuming to look at all of it, especially if you're like me and don't go in with anything particular in mind. This is a great place for Disney stuff; LOTS of character stuff I hadn't seen before, and even Hannah Montana-type stuff. And don't forget to check out the side room for sale/clearance items. Overall, I'll definitely come here again, when I have more time and when the store is open. When those two criteria shall meet, who knows....

I really take exception to the review written by Patty W. !…read more I think she happened on the store, made her judgements by exterior appearances (which really aren't bad but aren't "BAY AREA"), and never talked to Katie once she entered the store. Had Patty done that and asked questions, she may have learned why the hours are set as they are (this is the owner's avocation not her vocation) , why classes are scheduled when the store is closed (most of her customers cannot do day classes...evenings are good for them). As to Patty's comments about pricing...I am astounded! I find the prices better, in most cases, than even the "big box" stores like Joann's or Michaels. And certainly better than any of the other "local" (Elk Grove/Sacramento) stores. Not sure where Patty shops for her supplies-only on sale at Joann's with their limited supply? Moving on to paper...Katie's World's selection and variety is beyond amazing! But the space IS finite and so the paper has to be stacked with tabs by category or the store would have to be HUGE! I have sent people there looking for scrap booking paper for skydiving that they couldn't find anyplace else. Katie's has a phenomenal selection of state/country paper and I have referred folk there just for that for their post-vacation scrapbooks . And wedding paper and embellishments? Well, once again, Patty didn't take the time to ask where or if. I travel a lot and have been to scrapbook stores from California to Massachusetts and in between. I have yet to be in a store that has the overall selection of paper, embellishments and tools that Katie's World has. I may have been in stores that seem a bit better organized until I start looking around and realize that I've somehow gone from pets to baby and tools and back and cannot find what I saw during my first pass through. And then I try to find someone to ask. Therein lies the key to visiting a new store...Ask! If you are a scrapbooker or a paper-holic like me and are in the area, I would recommend stopping. The hours may be a bit problematic but you can always call. Katie's World is a great store and well worth visiting!!

Supposed to be a beautiful piece to give to extremely close friends and whom employed by. The guy said they could pick it up at 11 today (Xmas eve) They went to pick it up at said time and they were closed. So she proceeded to call him all afternoon cause that's a lot of money and everyone is closed tomorrow as it's Christmas. One would of course be angry that they can't pick up what they paid for. After numerous attempts the guy picks up the phone. She said "where's my flowers? Why are you closed?" He proceeded to say "ob we slept in". What?!!! She said "I don't care I need the flowers like promised" he said "oh we'll try and get down there and get it done". Are you effing kidding me? Who does that? She ended up going somewhere else and demanded the refund. This is no way to run a business. What in the hell. Now I see why you're the lowest rated flower shop in town. Also hilarious you have to have a disclaimer on your page trying to account for the bad yelp reviews. Mistakes huh? Occasionally you make mistakes? So sleeping in and saying oh well and we can try to get it done is an honest mistake? Sounds like you don't give a rats ass. Clearly you don't need the money so everyone DON'T GO HERE! Go to that other place a customer mentioned on here Belle's I think it was. That place has great reviews. In a small town like Lodi y'all really are burning bridges with your poor service. Pretty rude and inconsiderate looking as the reasons people order flowers are significant and should be reliable. If you don't want to wake up early then change your hours . Also note that the guy wasn't very apologetic or taking responsibility either. I'm slightly sick and still got up at 5am. What's your excuse? Update!!! After the last interaction with the shop not only not having the order on time and them basically saying that they just slept in and refused to open on time not only did they not fulfill the expensive order, but they refuse to give a refund. When asked to give a refund because the product was not fulfilled, and the service was nonexistent, because sleeping in was more important than opening a business. They replied with we're not giving you a refund. You can go ahead and try and sue us a ring kept the money for the order and hung up. I made my due diligence of calling insane you know what what's you're doing is illegal and if you do not provide with a refund then I'm gonna have to call my friend in publishing as well as tell all my friends that work for companies that use this service to not use them anymore The man that answered the phone who sounds like a predator, then laughed and just hung up. do not use this business. They have so many bad reviews for a reason. They will rip you off keep your money laugh at you not open the business on time because they're too busy sleeping in. They are unprofessional and I have no idea how they're still in business. probably not for too much longer once the word gets out Good luck. Lol Update. They now have committed fraud!!!! They signed my moms name on a fake receipt. We have filed fraud reports with Lodi PD and are going to press charges as well as sue. These people keep trying to remove my review too. Keep going assholes. We got you.
