But all the staffs in La Petite makes you feel like they are part of your family. My daughter has been going there since pre-K. They have helped her so much in learning different things and boosting her confident level. Soon as you walk in, most of the time, you are greeted by Ms. Carrie or Ms. Phyllis. They are so welcoming and will make you feel at ease dropping your child off. They are willing to help in anyway. Now my daughter is a little older, she only goes for the summer program, and she loves it! Definitely would recommend this Daycare to anyone.

I cried on her last day. The people who were strangers to her just a little more than a year before had become her caregivers, her teachers, her family. She's now 5 1/2 and I still tell everyone in Westerville to check out La Petite. It's a wonderful, welcoming environment.

To be clear ahead, my poor experience was with the administrative staff and not with an enrolled…read morechild. I scheduled a tour online and called to confirm relevant information. The staff member who I spoke to on the phone stated (and insisted) that the school does not require vaccines "because that is not permitted by law" and that simply an e-mail would be enough of a waiver, not even a dictor's notice. This is false in many instances. First, according to Guidepost Montessori Parent Handbook, "Guidepost requires that all enrolled students be vaccinated in accordance with the recommended state schedule.". Lastly, private daycares are allowed by law to enforce vaccine requirements and even be more atruct than government requirements, and a quick google search could have prevented this staff member from spreading misinformation. It is very concerning that staff will misinform potential customers and also clearly state the unit does not follow the franchise's handbook.

The teachers are like family and not only do they provide the children with an amazing head start for primary school but you can also tell they LOVE the children. I have never seen the children unsupervised even for a moment. I personally know many former students of Hugs & Hearts - who are now in their 20's - and they recognize the positive impact that Pam and her teachers have had on their lives. If you are looking for a child care center that provides a warm, loving and nurturing environment for your precious children then this is the place. If you would like your child to be well prepared and have an advantage as they begin primary school and beyond then Hugs is where it's at. If you would like your children to create bonds that they will keep for years to come then you must consider Hugs & Hearts!

The snacks used to be healthy but I noticed lately that they give kids cookies, pretzels with ranch dressing on the side, and etc. I was shocked that children were given Oreos for a morning snack. I saw this when I dropped off my daughter late morning in the summer. That's normally not a time that most parents drop their children off. For the amount that they charge for tuition, it's not worth the money.

I have seen the managers getting after the teachers for doing their job. There was a teacher today that I saw working hard and got yelled at for not being with her class even though she was. They take out their stress on teachers and I hate seeing it as a former teacher myself, especially after seeing it happen almost daily! No wonder they are starting to have so many teachers leave!! We love my son's teacher but are tempted to leave after seeing how they treat others. I usually see it in the evening with one of the staff that is new to management when it comes to the yelling at multiple teachers. The only reason I am staying at this point is because we paid for summer camp and my son loves his B group teachers. The only way I will be staying past summer is if the management starts treating their staff like people and caring for them instead of yelling at them for going the extra mile and helping their peers out, which I have noticed quite a bit. On top of it all, the place is messy! I have seen vents full of dust, teachers sweeping but the floors looking like they need mopped for once, and others just pushing through their day without cleaning up the food off the floor. Gross! I know I may not have the same experience as everyone else, however I know my experience needed to be placed so others know what they are walking into. Especially after talking with other parents who have seen the issues as well!

I was placed in an infant classroom with seven babies, all under one year old, and was actively feeding and changing diapers. My background check was still pending, and I was specifically told I could not be left alone with the children because it had not come back. Afterward, I checked my OCCRRA records and found that my background-check request wasn't posted successfully until August 11 at 12:51 PM. I am now asking the Ohio Department of Children and Youth to review whether I should have been working with children during those two days. To make matters worse, I was never paid for the two days I worked. I believe parents deserve transparency about how this facility handles staffing, background checks, and its employees. I'm sharing my firsthand experience so parents can ask questions and do their own research before trusting this facility with their children.

We…read moreoriginally enrolled him in the preschool room, and he has recently transitioned into the kindergarten readiness room. He has enjoyed making a lot of friends. My husband and I enjoy the fact that he has learned so much both academically and socially. He has learned a variety of skills from counting to sharing. My daughter has just started in the infant room and it puts my mind at ease knowing that when I go to work, I can leave my 6 month old in a center that is geared towards meeting her needs and making her feel loved. The staff is more than accommodating to the needs of my children and do a fantastic job at making my kids feel welcome. My son loves dropping his lunch off with Miss Judy every morning, and he is always greeted with kindness and excitement. The building is clean and safe which was very important when my husband and I were initially choosing a center. No one can even enter the building with out a code. I also love the location, not only because it's so close to home, but because it's literally right next door to Harrison Street Elementary so once my son is old enough to attend school he can be safely transported to and from school as well as participate in Great Beginnings' before and after school care program. Both my husband and I are looking forward to being with the center for a very long time and seeing all of the things our children learn through their experiences there.

Ms. Sam and Ms. Shelly are very warm and inviting to our children and open with he parents about what is going on in the school. Our children especially love the summer program put on by the entire staff which is in a word 'Epic'. The school it's self is decorated in a way that our children are constantly finding something new on the wall paintings. Our children are sure challenged and the use of the Tadpoles system keeps up in constant contact with the teachers at the school and our children's progress. This is definitely a "school" as opposed to a daycare, when we moved our children here we saw and almost immediate difference in their vocabulary and skills. The parents are also very involved at the school which is a huge plus for us as it show a more community effect for which we are thankful for. If you so choose to enroll your children at the Worthington Goddard I believe that you will be happy that you did. The cost is only slightly more than we paid before but is well worth the value that you get when it comes to your child's education. At Worthington Goddard our children are definitely getting off on the right foot.

He loves to go outdoors in the natural play area. Recently, he showed off his ability to add "really big numbers" and how he's now sounding out words. CMC lives up to everything Montessori should be--hands on, self-guided, and collaborative.
