I'd rate this as a zero if I could. My girlfriend's laptop started acting oddly just 6 months after purchase so we took it back to the store where my girlfriend was berated for not taking out their insurance policy. I was told that they'd look at it when they got back from lunch (this was 5 pm) so I said i'd wait. I was then told that they couldn't look at it when they got back. I was then told that the problem was with the manufacturer and we should contact them which flies in the face of the Sale of Goods Act. I work in IT so demonstrated that the problem was with the motherboard and not user generated. The manager insisted that we had to contact Acer even though we didn't buy from Acer. PC World have tried three times to fix the problem and failed each time. Woeful doesn't describe this store's attitude to customers or indeed consumer law. read more
