Scott dedicated many hours, even after normal working hours, to replace my hard drive and ensure my computer was functioning again with my recovered information. I recently needed a battery for my Mac book. I called Scott and he couldn't have been more helpful. He told me to take a picture of the model # and send it to him. Shortly after, he phoned me and told me he would order it and call me when it came him. A few days later he called and told me it arrived. He even offered to come pick it up!!!!!! Had one of our laptops here for virus removal / defrag / general cleanup. I was quoted approximately $100 for the service and a 2-4 day turnaround time. I took the unit there on a Saturday, and by Sunday afternoon it was done & ready to go. Total cost to me including tax was $91. So it came in on time and under budget! At first we found out it was a bad GPU, so we removed the video card and use the onboard video to do a test, no video again, and we found out that the onboard video not working caused by corrupted BIOS (ver 2.60), in order to fix that we need to get into Windows environment. Once we got in, we saw Windows 10 is outdated (ver 1511) and we want to update to ver 1793 for you. Then we saw your SSD was loaded with only a few MB free space left, which is insufficient space to do system upgrade, we had to moved your downloads folder to secondary HD just to make room for system upgrade. At last, we were able to update your Windows 10 to latest version(ver 1793), update your motherboard BIOS(from ver 2.60 to ver 7.40), and cleaned out system temporary files for you. Brought my computer here to diagnose a hardware issue. Was told after several days they had been spending "all night" working on my computer and would be working on it all night again. Turns out it was a bad GPU, which should have taken maybe 30 mins to diagnose. When I got it back my Windows account, which was password protected, had been hacked into. Several files, some very large (up to 16 gb) had been deleted, and several programs had been downloaded onto my computer. Keep in mind, there was no need to go into windows to diagnose this issue. I consider this a gross invasion of privacy, extremely unprofessional, and borderline criminal. read more
