I'm surprised by some of the negative statements as all my family and many friends use NFCU and wouldn't dare go elsewhere. Always great. I've been hacked twice and NFCU was quick to stop the stupidity, take control and issue me new cards, get my funds restored VERY fast, and get us back to normal. I was trying to make an online purchases, they sent/text me a verification code to verify it was me, I put the code in, and the card was declined. However, when I went to the Navy app to check my balance and transactions, they claimed the transaction went through. The transaction did NOT go through on my end or the airlines ends. When I called to dispute the $1700 transaction because it DIDN'T go through. They informed me it can take up to 120 days to get my money back. I don't have 120 days to fix YOUR screw up. I need to buy the tickets NOW. These people were NOT helpful when trying to correct their wrong doing. Back to All In I go. I highly recommend any other CU over these guys. I want to add: All In will replace any disputed funds back into your acct while they investigate. Navy refused to do that.

This location near…read moreTown Center in particular is IMO one of NFCU's showcase branches- beautiful facilities and love the 24/7 access to 2 ATM machines including my most often used drive through ATM! It's a rarity that I actually get in the teller line nowadays since the NFCU app is pretty robust to do check deposits with a snap of a photo as well as easy $ transfer from/to any NFCU accounts. I have been very happy with my past engagements with NFCU's loan (mortgage, auto) departments and like the immediate responsiveness of their credit card fraud department when they flag potential fraudulent transactions. I do miss that NFCU no longer has coin counting machines (allowed customers to have their coins counted and deposited directly into NFCU accounts) in any of their branch locations.

I tried twice to correct the error over the phone. She told me what info she needed, which I provided. I didn't hear from her. I called and was told that the information was rejected. I asked twice for her manager to call me, which never happened. I then stopped by and spoken with a male employee who understood my issue. He to explain to the manager who still could not comprehend. She proceeded to speak to me while 3 desks away (Where was customer respect or confidentiality)? I walked to her desk, even another employee that was next to her understood. But this "manager" spoke down to me like I was a child. Eventually I did get angry and raised my voice. I told her I was leaving before things got bad. I turned to leave and the "manager" gave another smart remark. I told her to call the police, to which she responded "do we need protection" or words of that effect. I left, sat in my car a few minutes to calm down and left. 1 1/2 hours later, the police showed up at my house. He asked me if there was an incident at One Main, which I said yes and told him what happened and that I never threated anyone. He informed me that no one said I threatened them, but they are afraid of me, and don't want me to come back. So, the "manager" screws my payment up, won't correct it, talks to me like I am a child (I have to be at least 25 years older than she is), and then she sends the police to my house. If I could rate them a zero, I would.
