This was the place I was able to eat at on the night before the grand opening. Basically, they were the place that had a table available. Hey, it was crowded and some of the choices had an hour wait. This place was busy too, but happened to have a table. So they get to be my first meal at Xfinity Live. Overall atmosphere, OK it's a lot of fun. It's loud. There's country music and hard rock everywhere, and watching people fall off the mechanical bull provides lots of entertainment. It's a whole load of cheesy, but I was into it. But the food, that's what I came for. Here goes... Chips and salsa were basic. Not salty at all. I was OK with that. Decent salsa with a bit of a kick. Good start if not totally exciting. The wife got a chicken salad which was served in a tortilla shell. It was good pulled chicken which she said was quite juicy. Not too bad overall. The shell was a bit greasy to bite into which detracted slightly. I went for the half BBQ chicken with rice and beans. The plus is that the chicken was really juicy and fresh. It came with dry rub, and if you wanted BBQ sauce that was on the table. I felt that the taste of the chicken needed the sauce to be really good. If the chickjen needs the sauce, it's not great BBQ in my mind. But the sauce saved it. It was tasty sauce. I give them that. The rice and beans needed work though. Not enough flavor in those. It's what I expected. Corporate restaurants like this just don't always put out great food. But it was good enough, and it was fun. It's worth another try to see how the fajitas, burritos and tacos are. They get 3 stars until they can prove that they deserve more.

PBR is located within Xfinity Live. We dropped in on a Friday night for dinner and drinks before a Phillies game. It wasn't very crowded and looked like a cool country style place complete with mechanical bull, so I thought I would give it a go. All of the tables are pub/bar height with the most uncomfortable metal stools I have ever sat my cute little behind on. It was a struggle to stay securely on the stool given the fact that I am not very tall and my feet barely reached the bar where you can place your feet. We had a great waiter who was friendly and attentive, except for the fact that we had no place settings when the appetizer arrived and after a few minutes I had to climb down from the uncomfortable stool to seek him out. He did redeem himself and provided great service thereafter. We started off with loaded tater tots. It was a huge portion served on a hot skillet and the tots covered in cheese sauce, sour cream, chopped tomatoes and green onions. While not gourmet by any stretch, they hit the comfort food spot and brought back memories of my youth. I had the Southwest Grilled Chicken salad. Southwest is a misnomer, as there was nothing Southwest about this salad. It had grilled chicken, blue cheese, craisins, cucumber and balsamic dressing over a bed of spring mix. The salad was okay and the chicken had a nice grilled flavor but it was extremely tough and hard to chew. [Good thing I was already full from the tater tots ;)]. My hubby had the grilled Mahi sandwich with fries. The Mahi was tender and very tasty. the fries were average. I ordered a drink that came in a lighted plastic pilsner. The drink was tasty, but at $16 and $13 for a refill, it seemed kinda pricey for the venue. I could do without the fancy glass and would have preferred to save a few bucks. Overall, it served the purpose, but I probably wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend it to a friend. It seems like the type of place that you go to if you are looking to get drunk and have a wild bull-riding good time!

This place was great! Went there after tailgating for the Phillies game last weekend and had a blast. The whole Xfinity Live center was a fun time. Band's were playing outside and inside. The mechanical bull in the center of the bar holds most people's attention for the majority of the night. Not for the faint of heart, you will be tossed off quickly. Oddly, it seems girls are much better bull riders... ever guy that tried ride solo was immediately tossed by the 'bull'. All in all, one of the better times I've had hanging out at a bar with friends. Can't comment on the food, bartenders were quick and helpful. If ever in the south Philly area and its game day, swing into the PBR Bar.

Absolutely love the outdoor bar scene here, lots of seats and great service, plus an awesome view of the big screen. So great for nighttime philly sports! Plus the outdoor bar has frozen piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris, YUM! And the summer shandy is in season too which I love. Great place to relax and watch sports!

This was my first time here inside Xfinity Live! before I went to the Phillies game (Phillies lost to the Reds 9-4 on 5/15/16). The service was good. They allowed me to charge up my phone. I came here with my friend that lives in Southwest Philly. The waitress that we had, she was really nice to us and she was really pretty. The other waitresses were also pretty. I had asked her about the necklace she had on, it was the number 12. She said the number 12 was when she played softball and that her mom is a jeweler. Not bad at all for wearing that.

Absolutely terrific cuisine! This is a hidden gem in South Philly! Plus they have 80s B Movie trailers on the TV.

My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich which was really good. The crust was crunchy and the chicken was tender and juicy. I had the porchetta sandwich which was recommended by our waiter and was SO DELICIOUS! It is a must! At first my wife was concerned about the limited menu. They may not have an extensive menu but what they do, they do right! Our waiter was really great and very welcoming, especially as we were from out of town. The place has a rustic vibe which fits with its old town location. We loved it! If we ever find ourselves back in Philly, we will definitely visit Glory again!

When the big crowd from the conference left they opened the upstairs. The Mac and cheese is SO GOOD. Very creamy and rich, the bread crumbs were an amazing surprise edition. This fatty finished it before the beer came. Lots of beer choices. I took off a start be size they were under staffed. So we were just waiting around for the check and the waitress kept forgetting what we asked for. Honestly, not her fault. There were like ~100 people and only 3 employees that I saw. So no designated waiter for tables. These poor 3 employees were the bartenders and the table waiters.
