I sent clients her way in that time period as well. Unfortunately, Karin doesn't take time to review all the information provided and leaves a lot for her staff to do. She ultimately doesn't see the big picture which creates issues in the long run. She has made several mistakes on my taxes that my financial advisor found, did not follow up on missing info, ignored information provided and made decisions that were quite unethical without discussing first which we did not agreed to. It seems like the only thing she cares about is making a buck with no regard for her customers. Outside of being unethical, not service oriented at all, her ego is so huge that you are not allowed to question her or she gets really testy and actually allows herself to raise her voice as well. Do not trust her with something as important as your financial well being and safety.

He asked about the registration tags. He was told I had to be present as I was the registered owner. My husband said I had just had recent surgery and it would be difficult me to come in. Didn't matter, I had to be there. My son drove me to the AAA office. They handed the tags and plates to my husband. Did not address me or ask for ID, said nothing to me. My question is... how did they know I was the registered owner, I could have been the neighbor or a random lady from the waiting room. My presence meant nothing, and apparently not needed as my identity was not validated. The service at this location has consistently deteriorated, so sad! Stephanie and Jacob, shame on you!

Almost everything that I received from Dalton was incorrect. Even down to the date of death reported on the estate tax return provided from his office. This was asked to be corrected 3 times. There were several simple multiplication and addition errors also. Missing investments on the estate valuation. Which all of these were given to him on their portal. I can't remember how many times it took to get the correct valuation for the court. But it wasn't just a couple. He never took responsibility for any errors but blamed, the software, printer or what ever else he could think of. As the paying customer I was scolded for calling him out on his mistakes and was told his company has a strict culture of kindness at GSA, but apparently getting paid for doing your work correctly is not a high priority. They did not fulfill their promises in many areas as their website states. But they do have a list of "client promises". Giant red flag, and I missed it. They charge an astronomical fee for their work, but the product provided does not support the fee they charge. I have no problem paying for something that may be a higher fee, but provide that product. Never received any tax return hard copies. Just an email with the attached file. If I wanted a hard copy I would have to print everything at my own cost. In 40+ years of using a CPA, I have always received hard copies of returns for my file. The state return was not included originally with the Federal return and had to ask for it. Just another "oops" minute. The signed agreement states standard rate, but when I asked what that rate was, I was told they use a value billing approach. But never provided what was included in the "value billing" up front. This contradicts the signed agreement. He speaks to the client in a rude and condescending way and acts like he could never make a mistake. Dealing with a death, probate and then this on top, made this time very stressful. I would never recommend this company for any services.

I was told in a very rushed manner to call back after the April tax filing deadline after I had initially made contact with a female representative here. I even explained what I needed assistance with. Well, I called back after that time hoping to secure an appointment for the same reason, and then I was told by the same female subject that no assistance would be provided to me. I was instead advised to consult with a tax attorney. At the last minute, I ended up calling a 75+ year-old tax prep who used to do my family's taxes in EAST LOS ANGELES decades ago (who still sees clients in his home), and he knew exactly which form I was referring to. The gentleman literally walked me through the F.T.B. form in less than 10 minutes. He even invited me to send SMS pictures so he could review my work... at no cost. What a glaring difference.

She never called me back or replied to my email to let me know what was going on. It shows a lot that she has 0 care for her clients. It would be nice to at least email me that she couldn't do my tax. But she was just gone and missing in action. Plus I just got a letter from IRS penalties of $1680. Be careful with this service
