I love the free local arts and entertainment newspapers! Online on a daily basis but weekly in…read moreprint, Westword has been going since 1977. This week's print issue seemed to be chock full of cannabis advertisements. It's rather popular in Colorado. The newspaper has a "medical marijuana" critic who reviews local dispensaries. The front page was "Eat Here" which is a collection of "The 100 restaurants we can't live without" and if I was spending any more time in Denver than just this one night, I would be bookmarking the bejeebers out of them. Very interesting reading! [Review 18989 overall - 89 in Colorado - 2513 of 2022.]

This is one of the Publications with a circulation of 5000 copies throughout the Far Northeast…read moreCorridor. It covers Montbello, Green Valley Ranch, Parkfield, Gateway and DIA Neighborhoods. Sometimes inside the publication, they include FNN Membership Application, Far Northeast Neighbors, Inc. For Individual Membership, this will cost you $10, while for Business, the range was between $35 to $100. Unfortunately, they do not specify whether this membership cost cover 1 year or more or even a lifetime... *Sigh* From Community News, President's Page, Thoughts For The Month, Issues Of Interest, Poetry, School News among other things, this publication is an A-Okay read. I found Greater Far Northeast Reporter Publication, at Safeway recently. @160/2013

Mile High Sports Magazine gets it right when it comes to covering sports in the Denver metro area…read moreas well as the entire state. What I like is they're not likely to stick to just the main sports, they cover just about everything, even high school sports, soccer, indoor lacrosse, and even the athletic programs at smaller colleges and universities like Metro State. I always look forward to every issue especially their annual Snow Angels issue. It's too bad their efforts and triumphs with the magazine don't transfer over to their radio station on 1510 am. If it weren't for the fact that Kroenke Sports didnt have his teams games all broadcast on 1510 am, there wouldn't be a reason to listen to Mile High Sports Radio. The daily lineup of talking sports heads is highly overrated and some of them are truly full of themselves. I applaud Mile High Sports for trying to mark their mark on the Denver airwaves, but let's stick to what you do best and that's the magazine itself.

I recently became a member of the very useful directory of news media called Mondo Times. The site…read moreoffers all the emails I need to send press releases to the media throughout the whole US. (While they offer some information for foreign media they unfortunately do not offer contacts for them, just US). This database of info. has been a life saver as far as saving me time away from the computer. With the membership I also got 5 Easy Media Lists from their web site of the same name. These media lists are great, I can choose a particular state and download it as a spreadsheet instantly. This service is just as good and much much more reasonable than Bacons or what is now called Cision that I used back in my corporate days.
