Customer service just plain doesn't exist. I paid for an obituary - big bucks too, it is a long…read moreone. I never received a receipt or any type of acknowledgement. When it was posted, they cropped off the top of his head in the photo (the preview that I approved before paying was not cropped). I emailed, no reply back. I called and they said they'd see if they could fix it. Didn't get fixed and haven't heard from anyone. Save your money - use The Boulder Reporting Lab as your place for posting obituaries. Even though they offer the service for free (I made a donation), they replied back to me within an hour, and offered a personal note of condolences. They even tweaked a few grammatical things in my text that made it flow more smoothly. It's so sad to see the Camera go way down hill over the years, both in customer service and quality of the reporting and writing.

Talk up their great journalism but are too disorganized and unprofessional to actually deliver when…read morehanded a great story with tons of research already provided for them. Spoon feed it to them and they are too overwhelmed, disorganized and busy to ever deliver. Puff pieces on things that don't matter they can deliver those. Real journalism, not so much.

(While they offer some information for foreign media they unfortunately do not offer contacts for them, just US). This database of info. has been a life saver as far as saving me time away from the computer. With the membership I also got 5 Easy Media Lists from their web site of the same name. These media lists are great, I can choose a particular state and download it as a spreadsheet instantly. This service is just as good and much much more reasonable than Bacons or what is now called Cision that I used back in my corporate days.
