And she repeated that she needed my I.D. and I asked her what do you need my I.D. for? And her response was she needed my I.D. to create a profile, and I said to purchase two money orders I need to have a profile made for this dump of a checking cashing place? I asked for the paper I wrote my phone number on back and walked out. What kind of ridiculous crap is that? It seemed way too suspect for me. There are more than a thousand check cashing places to go to in NYC. Don't go to this one.

I recall another time six years ago when, owing to having had an ankle operation, my mobility was hindered. No problem, the manager asked me to have a seat while he took my identification and brought back my cash with the receipt. Thank You. In day of reduced retail emphasis with large banks and in a day of diminished service expectations, it is worth recognizing this branch for retail excellence and customer service. Four great stars!
