She came home in shock and growled at our other dog (who she loves and has never previously growled at). Whatever they did during the day together, she was affected quite negatively. From a business standpoint, Kyle gives 30 minute lectures filled with analogies that make no sense. Also, 4:40 pickup means 5:30 apparently.

My husband and I have a very anxious, neurotic (and handsome) doggo. He's highly dog reactive and…read moreenergetic and has a troubled past. We've tried several trainers and boarding facilities in various cities and states. We even resorted to trying a famous YouTube trainer and he came back worse and even more anxious. Typically, these expensive "board and trains" we've participated in have ended with medication recommendations and a "good luck". One final trainer recommended we try Mind Of Dog because she also wasn't able to break through. I'm so grateful we did. He's thriving and comes home exhausted. An added bonus is the people training we've received. The best part of all of it, is that he's finally getting the exercise and structure he's always needed and deserves. They handle the dogs calmly, but with lots of structure and clear boundaries, which our dog desperately needs. We can finally go to work and travel without worrying that he's being mishandled or ignored. We're so grateful to have found this place and I have to admit, I was waiting for him to fail again, because we had lost all hope. I highly recommend that you give Mind Of Dog a shot, especially if you're in a similar position as we were. Thanks, Mind of Dog! Senna loves you all and is so grateful to be able to play with dogs without fear and anxiety.

She is going back soon and I know she will love it. The owner is fabulous and also has her masters degree in Animal Behavior. Would HIGHLY recommend for people that have great dogs but don't crate them and love the idea of running outside and being able to have a big dog sleepover each night.

I took my dog here only because it was recommended. I have an 8 year old Aussie (boy dog named…read moreSasha) who I have never boarded or left at any type of dog daycare. I've always been hesitant to leave my dog off with a stranger. Especially since I know that my dog is a bit anxious when left with new people (even for a few minutes). He has only ever stayed with my parents and siblings. When I got there, it was a fenced in house with a lake and a lot of space. Gabbie met my dog first before introducing him to any other dogs. She asked us questions, and we explained Sasha's personality. She then introduced our dog to her dog, and observed their energy. Then she brought out one dog at a time until all dogs were out and were able to meet my dog. This gave me a good feeling, because she obviously knew what she was doing. It was not a place where my dog was put in a cage, but a place where he was part of a group. When I left he gave me the you-are-abandoning-me look. I am not the type of person to really worry, but it was great that a few hours later, i got a message from Gabbie saying my dog had settled in nicely. She sent me a picture of him, and when i checked the next day, she had dozens of pictures of the activities all the dogs did for the day. At that point I knew my dog probably already forgot who i was and was having the time of his life. I picked him up 2 days later, and he came out like if he owned the place. He came out with his head up, a smile one his face, and a tail that wagged 100 wags/second. I would recommend this place to anyone. Sasha will be back this month!

Finn, my female hound mix, has been hiking with Katie for the past two years and she is the best!…read moreFinn is a daily hiker with Katie, and with a busy job and schedule, Katie is now a part of our family. I have a 110% confidence in Finn's safety and I also know she is having fun every day, which allows me to have a stress free day while I am busy at work or traveling. Katie has made Finn a better dog with her on the spot training and support, all of it which is given with love and kindness. Katie is responsible, responsive, and most importantly treats Finn with love and respect. I am fortunate to see their bond on the days I am home when she picks Finn up for her daily hikes. Katie is dedicated to her clients and dogs, and any pup who spends a day hiking with her, is very lucky and blessed. My friends and family are so impressed with how far Finn has grown since I got her, and all the credit should go to Katie and the time she has spent with Finn. No matter if it is 2 days or week, or if your lucky pup signs up for 5 days with the pack, it is worth it! We are so lucky we have found Katie and highly recommend her for hiking and overnight boarding. If you use Katie and "Hike your tail off" your dog will be one happy puppy and you will know they are in good hands. Thank you Katie for all you do!!

In fact I refer to Katie, the owner of Hike Your Tail Off, as Bordy's second mom. Katie is extremely reliable, patient and professional, she checks in, sends videos of the pups playing throughout the day and most importantly on days Bordy is with Katie, I come home from a busy day at work and he is tired and happy! Hike Your Tail Off is also flexible and affordable, which is so hard to find in Northern NJ! This service is really the active dog pet owners best find!
