I recently adopted a 9-month old dog and wanted to jump into training right away. I retained…read moresomeone who lived very close to me and had great reviews, but after a few sessions I realized our schedules were not compatible; I was not getting consistency and reliability from her. It's important for me to make progress with my dog, so I Googled alternate options and stumbled upon Alex's page. I called him on a Friday and he picked up the phone right away. We spoke for a while about my needs and he came out the following Tuesday for what was supposed to be a 2-hour visit. I fell in love with him immediately, he is not only so personable and likable on his own, but he really takes the time to LISTEN to what you need and work on those things right away. I had mentioned my priorities to my previous trainer, but I found that she was teaching my dog commands that didn't actually accomplish what I was after. In our first meeting, Alex worked on SO MANY of my priorities. He got my dog to go into her crate on command, taught her to "stay," showed me how to "walk with" my dog better on her leash, and (using a 30' leash outdoors) started working on recall with her. We were so immersed in what was going on that Alex started to go a little bit over our time, but he didn't want to stop because we were making such great progress. I told him if he wanted to give me a third hour right then and there that I was prepared to pay for it, and he did!! I learned a lot of things from Alex myself during our first meeting, like how to employ the use of "deltas" (which my old trainer never once mentioned) and how non-verbal cues are arguably more important than verbal ones. Again, my old trainer actually discouraged me from using hand motions, but once incorporating them into my routine I noticed that my dog was much more compliant than she had been. Another positive difference between my old trainer and Alex is he really takes the time to teach you why he's doing what he's doing, and encourages you to participate. My old trainer just taught my dog a command and had me replicate/practice when she left. Alex really makes you feel like you are a part of the teaching process. After our private session Alex recommended some "Small Group Therapy" for my pup. He came at noon on a Thursday to pick up my dog and she proceeded to go on a several-hour outing with his two chihuahuas and a dog he was fostering. The entire time he was out with her he was recording and sharing videos on an iCloud album. It was INCREDIBLE to not only see everything that was happening, but to hear him narrate why he was doing the things he was doing. I could not get enough of his videos and felt like I was there during the session. On top of Alex's excellent communication, punctuality, reliability, friendliness, competency, and effectiveness, his rates are OUTRAGEOUS in the BEST way! I truly believe he is under-charging for his services. I can get three hours with Alex for less than I paid for one hour with my prior trainer, and I feel much better about the work that is done during that timeframe. I adore Alex, and most importantly, what he is doing works. He really gets into the mind of your dog, and has such a wonderful way of connecting with them and their needs. I am elated to keep our work going - my pup has lots more Small Group Therapy outings in her future and it's wonderful that I have the option to use him one-on-one to teach her even more commands in the house. One day I hope to move on from essential commands to more fun ones, like "roll over" or "go get X toy."

He's knowledgeable, skilled at what he does, & overall, you can tell his calling is to keep dogs in loving homes with owners who just need the tools plus support to train & love on their pet babies. If our Ketsia (Sisi) didn't love us so much, I think she'd hop on over to Alex's place :) She's strong-willed & protective but sooo loving & sweet. We're making great progress! Thank you, Alex.

Then I boarded my dog with a groom on the day I picked her up. She seemed to have a problem with tangles in the dogs coat. I brushed her and combed her and even showed Kathy the tools that I used. I then boarded her again and again with a groom on the day to be picked up. When I called to check in on my dog she said that I didn't arrange for the grooming which I know i did. She grudgingly did it. Next I took my dog for a groom. I dropped the dog off at 9:30 AM as arranged and she kept my dog there till 8:30 that night! Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I arranged another grooming. When I showed up to drop my dog off, she told me that I was scheduled for the previous day. First, I know that I put the day in my calendar as I was standing there in her shop. Secondly, if I somehow got it in the wrong day, why didn't she at least call to see where I was. "I don't make calls" was her response. At that point I was done. Like I said, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and now I am done. There are other groomers and other boarder. DON'T USE HER!!!

Jenny came to my family highly recommended by my aunt and it was the best decision we have ever made using Faithful Friends. To speak to the extent Jenny goes and her genuine love and willingness to take care of her "clients", our older pup is about 7 and has always been incredibly anxious particularly during thunderstorms. While we were in Florida this past week, a huge storm came through and not only did Jenny make sure to monitor its progress to ensure our pup got his anxiety medicine in time for relief but when the power went out, she went out of her way and far past the time she was paid for to bring over battery powered lights and set them up around our home to get the animals through the power outage most comfortably. She sat with both our dogs for a while giving them lots of love before heading home to her own family sending pictures and updates the entire time. I can not say with more certainty that my experience was incredible and our family LOVES Faithful Friends Pet Care and will continue to utilize their services in the future

I needed to know the doc who was going to perform this surgery. I started calling around and came across Dr. Petfixer. I was glad I chose to go this way because Bella had reactions to the surgery and Doc was awesome and patient with me asking millions of questions. She was well taken care beyond what I expected. I've boarded Bella there and they treat her like family. I'm so thrilled to have found them. They don't charge high prices, they're patient and answer all questions, they follow up with phone calls. I HIGHLY recommend them. 2020 - Since this review I've rescued a sweet boy at 9 weeks old named Rocky. Rocky is now also a patient of Dr. Petfixer. He has been neutered by Doc and did fabulous. Unfortunately at the age of 2 Rocky had horrible plaque on his teeth. It was quite evident he would have gum disease if I didn't take care of this ASAP. Doc and Jenna, knowing how insane I am about my pups, took excellent care of my boy. He came home with pearly whites and has recovered nicely. I highly recommend Dr. Petfixer to everyone.

She ordered North $900.00 worth of blood work and x-rays which she failed to follow -up on. We have never received the results after phone calls, emails, and text communication with the office. Our Gabanna got progressively worse, and we called the office multiple times. Our cat was subjected to additional pain and suffering from a lack of follow-through. They didn't ever answer the calls, and there was no on-call service. I begged and pleaded on the voicemails to get the results of the tests so we could take our beloved pet to a practice that was invested in something other than my Credit Card--still, no marks and no communications three days later. Dr. Montiero and her office never called to find out how the patient was; they were only interested in charging for services not delivered. At this point, we had to take Gabanna to another provider where we had to do repeat testing at our cost as Dr. Montiero and her bad news bears office never followed up. The cat had grown so ill we had to have her euthanized still no communication from DR.M. Days later, I received blood work in an email with ZERO explanation. Isn't this why we take our animals to the vet for their expertise and guidance? Who sends labs out without interpretation? Days later, after multiple voicemails and messages left at the office, Dr. M calls to check on the cat, which is put to sleep by this time. She cavalierly asked hows Gabanna was. I then reached out to discuss the care and the bill, and she said she was on vacation or it was the weekend. I will call you next week; I am still waiting for a return call a month later. If you perform diagnostic testing and bloodwork, you are professionally obligated to report your findings to the patient's family and provide the professional guidance you were paid for to set a treatment plan. In all my years of going to doctors, vet dentists, and professional providers, I have never encountered such an unprofessional office void of empathy and compassion. I remain heartbroken that my beautiful cat was subject to additional pain due to the lack of medical management. And from a business standpoint, I feel robbed that I was charged over $900.00 and never received guidance, result interpretation, or a treatment plan. Shame on you for your despicable unprofessional behavior and upselling tactics of targeting vulnerable families who love their animals.
