With that being said, I'm VERY happy with paws & Recs and the care that they provide for my baby while I'm away. He's been a total of 3 times and I am happy when he's there. Here are the pros: - SUPER spacious!!! I loveeeee the amount of room that there is for the dogs to run and play all day long including the back yard area. - They do really nice things for the dogs such as pool days when the weather is super hot. - My baby always comes back in a great mood and exhausted! He gets so much exercise and mental stimulation during the day. - You can get updates on how your dig is doing during the day by reaching out to Jenny or checking their Instagram stories. This makes me so happy as they regularly update their daily activities. - Lots of treats and water for the dogs during the day. - Staff informs you of their day at pick up :) You can tell they really care about your dog. - They have extended care hours if requested for reasonable pricing. - Super organized with cubbies for your dogs belongings so no mix ups there I highly recommend and we'll be back!

Paws & Rec has been so wonderful to work with! They were recommended by my veterinarian who also…read moreuses their service for her dogs. What I love about Paws & Rec is that they pickup the dogs for a full two hours. Your dog gets experience walking with their "pack" and makes other doggy friends they'll see consistently. They get a ton of off leash time in one of the various dog runs in the area. On each walk, they'll sometimes visit up to 3 different parks. Jenny was very easy to work with and setup a meet and greet with Jeffrey (my 4month old Goldendoodle) and her son Christian. My walker, Stan, is SO professional and awesome. He updates his Instagram with photos and an insta story during every walk so you can see footage of your baby running around and playing. It's awesome! During Jeffrey's first walk, we had a mini crisis with a faulty apartment key (my fault). Jenny and Stan were super professional, and brought Jeffrey to a nearby Paws & Rec sitter's house until I could run from work to pick him up. I was so thankful Jeffrey was in safe hands! They didn't even charge me for all their extra effort. I really couldn't recommend Paws & Rec more. Super professional, reliable, and trustworthy. *They also offer full day field trips to doggy friendly destinations!

This person could not love animals more nor be more trustworthy as far as they are concerned. She…read morehas a natural knack for communicating with dogs in particular. I had an unruly beast of a puppy when she first came along this summer. She knew right away how to keep him in behavior mode, while still being very sweet to him. She's not one of those lazy dogwalkers either, doing the minimum as many do. It is great for me as I often come home from work to a pleasantly exhausted dog. Now we've hit fall and I feel like I have a much more manageable creature to return home to after a long day of work. In addition to being one of the more trustworthy and honest people I have ever hired in such a capacity, she's also very available and when she can't assist me, she knows who else to refer me to. Oh, and she has a way with people too - after dogsitting once, she left me a vase of flowers and a nice note on a card, reporting all the things my dog got to do while I was away. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a responsible & considerate person to trust their animal friend with.

Rebecca was great with my four cats and our dog. Our dog is a huge pit-mix and needs to be kept…read moreapart from our cats since he's quite aggressive. She had no problem handling the rules of the house in that regard. Also, our dog is a rescue - he was neglected and abused before we came across him, so he doesn't trust people readily. She was not intimidated at all and, although he was a bit wary at first, she soon buttered him up. In addition to being clear about who was the alpha, she gave him great rub-downs - after years of neglect, he really needs a lot of affection in order to trust people. She clearly had a natural grasp of canine hierarchy and dog mentality and once she got him to trust her, she even started to offer him some obedience training. He always ended up very orderly after an afternoon with her. My fiance and I were very pleased! We, and our four cats and dog, highly recommend this great dogwalker and petsitter!

My dog runs to Esther every time we drop her off and gets so excited. I would not trust anybody else to watch our dog. Thank you Pet Getaway!!

We've used her for countless trips and she is our go to anytime we have to leave our two dogs. Would highly recommend Rose to come and stay with your fur babies so you can enjoy your travels.

We both went back to work more than full time, and they set up a box outside our apartment to be able to access our pup. They take him on walks that we can check out on the app, take pics, give treats and snuggles, and our dog LOVES his walker. They are also really great with communication, and I can reach Rachel via email or phone pretty much any time. We love traveling but swore off destinations requiring planes because our dogs gets up SO early, he would be a burden on any of our friends if we paid them to babysit. He's also huge. But we are now looking forward to planning a long weekend to Atlanta and a 4 day trip to Iceland in 2021, and will likely be asking them to board our pup. It's a relief to feel so at ease about the idea of leaving him for 4 days. Happy to support a woman owned business too!

A True Gem in Cobble Hill!…read more Leaving our dog Sadie for the first time while going abroad was incredibly nerve-wracking. She's our baby, and the thought of being away from her for so long had my husband and me both anxious. Thankfully, we found Canine Corner, and from the moment we walked in, we knew she was in loving, capable hands. The team at Canine Corner went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. They were kind, patient, and completely understanding of how hard it is to leave your pup behind. Every update we got while we were away reassured us that Sadie was having an amazing time -- and judging by how she pulls us toward their door every time we walk by, I think it's safe to say she had a blast! I especially want to thank Lucas, who truly went the extra mile for us. We were stuck in terrible traffic on our way back into the city and were panicked we wouldn't make it in time to pick up Sadie before closing. Lucas kindly stayed a bit past closing this past Sunday just so we could reunite with her -- and I can't express how much that meant to us. That kind of care and thoughtfulness is rare. We're absolutely thrilled with our experience and will continue to recommend Canine Corner to everyone we know in the neighborhood and beyond. Thank you again to Lucas and the entire team for treating Sadie like one of your own! -- A very grateful Cobble Hill dog mom

When Penny was scared in reaction to the change of having Giancarlo substitute walk for Khamara, Giancarlo was so great with taking notes from our trainer to ease the transition and get Penny more comfortable and calm. I would absolutely recommend entrusting your pups to these folks for daily walking needs. They are insured and scheduling Wales is very easy.
