We were (are) traveling from South Florida to Colorado and about 5 miles before reaching Abilene one of our two cats had a major accident. I found Abilene out of sheer luck when we pulled off the highway and headed there in the hope that they could help... Staff took us in right away and were so sweet. They bathed our stinky dude and even cleaned out his carrier, lined it with a potty pad and fresh towel, and sprayed Feliway in both our cat carriers to keep them calm--they even gave us samples of Feliway wipes to keep in their carriers for the rest of our journey! Our vet provided advice on the medication we had given our cats, and adjusted the dosage to help the cats relax even more. We took her advice and purchased two Nurture Calm collars as well. Everything must be working because already both cats have settled down! Thank you guys so much!!!

I have always been delighted with the care and compassion that my pets have received during their lives made longer by the care they received. I especially am grateful now, when I don't drive, to be able to have the Doctor come to the house. That makes such a difference for me. I had a Yorkshire terrier that like to bite all the veterinarians I took him in to let Darren look at him and before I could tell Darren he was a biter Darren was already in inspecting his teeth and throat and ears and Bentley didn't have a problem with it. That sold me on the quality of vet he was. If my little Yorkshire could trust him I had to. I just stood there in amazement until the visit was over. I told Darren about him biting the other vets he didn't look like he believed me. From then on he was our man and family veterinarian.
