I have known Diana for over thirty years. Naturally, this little fact means that we are both…read morethirty-two years of age. ;) Ever since I can remember, she has always loved dogs, cats, hamsters, ... you name the pet, and she loves it! We played soccer with her dog when we were in high school. She had cats during her undergraduate years. These days, she has two wonderful dogs and a cat as pets. She lived in Toronto after we both graduated from high school. She took a job as a dog walker, which has honed her skills and given her the confidence to start her own dog-walking company. Through sleet, wind gusts, downpours, and freezing rain, she would be out there walking dogs from various clients, making sure that they were all okay under the ever-changing weather conditions. It is an understatement to say that Diana adores animals. While working full-time after graduating from university, she took courses in Animal Care at Georgian College. She continued working in the veterinarian sector before moving to Peterborough to start Paws and Smell the Flowers. I have seen her treat her clients' pets as if they were her own. Dogs and cats are comfortable being in her care. She makes sure that both the pet owner and pets themselves are comfortable with her before going ahead with the agreed-upon service. Back in December 2016, I got my pet betta. I brought my new pet into the restaurant where we were having dinner, as it was too cold to leave him in my car. Diana fish-sat Bubbles the whole time, as she was sitting on the bench side of our table. It was sweet and shows how compassionate she is. It also demonstrates how easily she bonds to any pet, including mine. I would highly recommend Diana for all your dog-walking and cat-sitting needs, and more. Your pet is in excellent hands with such a qualified professional. (135)

This place should be shutdown. Please do not take your pet here. Regrettably we took our dog here…read morefor an ear clean and nail trim. The moment we walked in the door we were met with an attitude like we had done something wrong, we felt totally unwelcome and like we were disrespecting this business by bringing our dog in. We asked for what we came for and I would have had better luck communicating with the wall as there was just eye rolling and cattiness. Upon returning our dog was never so anxious to see us, and I found out why. This girl had pulled all the hair out of our dogs ear canal after we specified not to "clean" that way, for our breed it's actual not required and not instructed from our vet and our breeder, she did anyways, our dogs ears were completely red and swollen looking. She then started on about how our dog had a broken nail, which is why she was bleeding like a broken faucet. On further inspection she basically had cut her nail in half, quipping her for the first time in her life, there was so much blood. The girl had said "yea, she just has a broken nail and it's only red because of the clotting agent we put on" we had to take her to the vet to get bandages as she would t stop bleeding it was so bad, no broken nail, just cut in half, also didn't even cut her dewclaws. After telling this story to a few people, it seemed to be a running theme! Rumour has it the business went under new management, either way, if you make a mistake don't lie to customers, thanks for traumatizing our dog and still charging us. You're a joke business and I hope you get fired and shutdown.
