Have been taking my daughter's dog, a Maltese cross Shitzu, to get her hair cut and washed and claws cut, since January this year. The dog groomer does an awesome job and is excellent with my daughter's dog. read more

Mojo's own Shih Tzu's, so therefore knowing the breed & how to groom/clip/style them is a such a bonus. Having said that, every dog breed I've seen coming out from here all look & smell divine. Mojo's are not your ordinary groomers like so many salons or mobile groomers around. These guys are professional stylists & there's a HUGE difference between those other groomers & the styling grooming you get here. Both Marianne & Josh are both incredibly friendly, helpful lovely people & their love of dogs is SO very obvious. As an ex Persian cat Breeder/Groomer/Show person, I very highly recommend MOJO'S!!
My small dog was regularly groomed by Mojo's for over 8 years, so I was very disappointed recently…read morewhen the male groomer didn't have the patience to groom my now senior dog. I returned to Mojo's salon after waiting two and a half hours to find my poor dog had not been done at all, and told by the agitated groomer he would never groom the little dog ever again due to the dog's age. Why did he accept my last booking then? So upsetting! I was stunned! Loyalty as a compliant customer didn't count for anything. I have since found a lovely, patient, caring female groomer who does a wonderful groom in half the time and for 2/3 of Mojos' ever-increasing fees. Seriously, check out other groomers if you have a senior dog who needs care, otherwise you'll be sidelined.

After hearing about Town…read moreand Country Dog Grooming at a pet store and reading their lovely website I thought this would be a nice, caring place to take my beloved pampered puppy. My father took him for his first hair cut and he came back looking pretty good. The second time I took him in myself. The owner was rude and impatient and had absolutely no time to listen to how I wanted my dog groomed. Not only was she lacking in people skills, she also didn't come accross as caring towards the animals!! My gregarious puppy seemed intimidated to go on the second occasion and was shaking and unhappy. This is the first time my happy dog has acted this way! My dog came back with a terrible haircut which was uneven, had big chunks of fur missing, and his belly and penis were shaved so close he's bald and grazed. On collection of my dog the staff still hadn't gotten any friendlier or better mannered and to top things off they will only accept cash or cheque payment and don't offer a reciept. If you're going to run a cash business from your back yard you can at least offer a professional, caring, and friendly service. I will never bring my dog here again!

LuvDog (Kris) is trying to move the bulk of her mobile clients to a salon, and she's recently opened up on Magill Road. She has a few finishing touches to ... finish....but the salon is clean with a terrific outdoorsy fit out with mini orb and timber. Duck hunter doesn't protest too much, but he really doesn't like the whole clipping routine, so I try and keep it as short as possible by omitting the bath (and therefore the hair dryer). Kris was straight into the shearing, and as a medium dog she gave him plenty of attention and it took about 50 minutes. Kris is a professional operator with several years behind her as a tow along salon, and has a tender, calming approach. I'd recommend giving this new salon a try. Please note payment is only cash at this stage.

No he hates it because EVERY time we are in the Mall together, I drag him down those well trodden stairs to go down and look at the puppies/kittens/whatever animals they have in there at the time. I daresay I am not alone in this mission and I think it would definitely be a popular spot for other Rundle shoppers to de-stress for a little and make baby voices at tiny animals. To be fair, as I don't have a pet (can't have one in a rental property) I have never actually bought anything from there although I have been tempted many times by the sweet little faces that look out at you from behind the glass. I am also kind of against pet stores because I believe there are plenty of animals at the RSPCA who have had hard lives and need some love. And you don't need to pay around $800 for them.... But in terms of animal perving, this is my number one stop, and there are always new puppies waiting to be squealed at joyfully!

The first thing I notice is that the store doesn't actually sell any pets. I didn't see any while I was in there anyway, and it's not that big that you'd miss anything that was there. I guess this really means it is a pet care centre rather than a pet store. It's something to ponder anyway. The prices of items were a little bit above what I'd expect if I was to go somewhere closer to the city. With that being said it's nowhere near as expensive as some of the pricier places that are "local" to me. The floor is carpeted unlike the bigger pet stores, so I assume your 4 legged friend is staying outside if you visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they stock a good range of items.
