Do not take your dog here!!! these people claim to love pets but that could not be further from the truth, they just want your money.
I do not usually complain or bother with a review, but I think to avoid anyone who has a small dog, a house dog or pet that is not used to anything but the best you should read this.
I could not find any reviews beforehand and believed the words "Dog Holiday "
The hardest thing when going away is trying to find somewhere for your pet , I called many places and asked allot of questions at all, I came across this website Paws a while kennels and thought that there slogan and there company overview that this would be a great place for my dog to stay.
After booking I was assured that I could bring my dog a blanket and a pillow so that she was more than comfortable and I was assured that this was fine just to add my name to it in case it got lost.
On the day of collection I saw the blanket and the pillow in the reception area, My husband asked the lady why she did not have it and she replied " we did not get time" Unacceptable if you cared for the dogs you would have assured that it had the blanket a reminder of home and to keep it warm.
The lady then called for her colleague to collect the dog (my dog is a very hyperactive dog and is always a bit crazy when we come to get here from boarding as she is exited) my dog came out confused and not herself. The next thing that I noticed was that she was wet and smelt strongly of air freshener, I waited and spoke to the lady as I had collected early and wanted a refund, my husband took the dog to the car. When I came back to the car my husband and I realized that she had wee on her feet - The reason they were wet and her face was wet with saliva because she had been so distressed!! So in a nut shell she was walking around in her own piss and to cover this up they spray them with some sort of a deodorizer to hide it.
Appalling !!!! These people are not in this game for the animals that is plain to see.
I hope that this saves anyone else from making a big mistake. read more
