Jill loves Mark and you can tell that Mark has a real connection with the dogs. He's a dog whisperer haha :) The surroundings and facilities are great and we came by a week before-hand to have a look around and get Jill familiarised. Very professional. Mark sent daily videos and updates of Jill and you could tell that she was a very happy dog there. I can definitely recommend Mark and Dawgy Hotel and Daycare. Satch loves both Mark and Issi and he always comes home happy and exhausted after spending the day at Dawgy Walks and Daycare. Mark and Issi are flexible and accommodating and its an added bonus that I can keep up to date with Satch's day via their social media platforms. Mark and Issi are both down to earth and extremely professional. I would feel comfortable leaving Satch with them while I was away and I know that I could trust them with a key to my home. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone, they are honest, reliable, and great with the dogs.

Our dogs were in for four weeks over Christmas. In that time one dog lost over 9kgs, one quarter of her body mass, along with ear and eye infections. Another dog lost just over 7kgs. Both dogs have bold patches on their elbows and ragged claws, possibly due to spending so much time in their tiny enclosure scratching on the cement. We were so concerned about their health we took them to the vets and their report will support these facts. All four of our dogs smelt so badly of urine that even after 3 baths they still smell. We have noticed a significant change in their behaviour since coming home and are showing signs of stress and anxiety. We asked the women who bought out our dogs if there had been any concerns/issues but she didn't seem to know the dogs but still said they had been okay. At no point did we have any communication from Auramist to express any concerns. If the alternative was having both my arms cut off I still would not send them to Auramist Kennels.

This place is understaffed…read more The manager is rude. She told me that she didn't return my calls because she was dealing with a miscarriage, or an abortion, or something of that nature. When we picked our dogs up, one had massive bites on both sides of her face. The vet said they had occurred about a week prior. I have worked at kennels. Staff should have seen this problem. Unless there is a lack of staff, in which case they have no time to notice. I would recommend that you do not kennel your dogs here.

The level of organisation is top notch, and I can see from their interaction with both my dogs, and others, that there is a genuine love of animals from the team. I noticed how my two- and Ridgebacks can be naturally cautious- would happily run up to team members when it came time to pick them up. And dogs never lie. The option to have a very large, safe and private enclosure is a huge benefit, especially for larger breeds. Will be re-booking soon.

The website says nothing about that. A bank account to make the deposit was then provided. Very shonky. I fear a breach of privacy, as it looks like someone with access to the booking system has shared my details.
