I was cleaning out my grandparents garage. They have lived in this house for the past 40 years. While I was cleaning and organizing things I saw some very very interesting valuable looking things like Antiques, dolls that my grandma has collected. Many many things over the years that my grandparents have collected. I asked them what do you want me to do with all the stuff and they told me that I can have it or I can do whatever want with it like pawn it. My husband and I went here around New Years because we were short on rent. My husband wanted to sell his watch collection and I wanted to pawn my wedding ring. We were treated pretty much like Justin L. was. I will never go there again! He told my husband he wasn't interested in his watches & offered me $80. dollars on my wedding ring. He said that's all he can give me based on the gold because its an old style setting and he's going to be stuck with it when I don't come back (I guess the diamonds don't mean nothing to him)! That asian dude acted like we were trying to get over on him. I left with my wedding ring on my finger. Why would he think I wouldn't come back, because my husband is black? That's how it felt. I was looking for a pawn store in the area which paid good on electronics. I needed so money to make a car payment and it seems like the other shops just wanted to rip people of. Well I went to pawn USA and met with Scott the owner who is a nice easy going guy, oh and who knew his stuff. Well here is the twist, I never had to pawn or sell me stuff, he actually heard my story and suggested I do a payday loan, It was fast and I got the money i needed without having to lose anything, sweet! Have no idea what they are doing. Did not know a Microsoft Touch screen computer was a computer he thought it was just a computer screen. Then has some Tiffany jewelry the girl in the back spends over 10 min checking it out until I finally said forget it you obviously don't know your products. When leaving I see some couch purses for sale from the 80s like those are going to sale. Unprofessional, no knowledge of current trends no knowledge of fake from real, very unfriendly. This place is outstanding! Great customer service. Friendly atmosphere. I had to get a loan once as I was in a real tight spot and they literally saved me...BIG TIME. I have no earthly idea how anyone else had a bad experience there. The owner is very conscientious about his customers being happy with their experience. I did not purchase anything there, but the items for sale were outstanding in quality and appearance. Very clean and organized shop. Thanks for taking care of me. I have done garage sales before, and they are ALOT if work and more importantly a lot of time. Normally if I don't have time for garage sales I just call up the Salvation Army to pick up my stuff and donate it. This time I knew I had some stuff worth something, and I needed a little extra cash. I decided after watching pawn shop shows on TV that maybe I could sell some stuff there for some quick cash. I was helping my brother clean his place and we found some old things that we use to have when we younger. Old game consoles, old games, All kinds of things and memorabilia. This isn't your daddy's pawn store. This is a quality shop with top end merchandise and friendly people. Clean and inviting atmosphere. I have used them a number of times. I got a very fair loan on 1 occasion. I have also bought a tv, tools, coins and a Coach purse from them. Very good prices. read more
