Female especially at the shop looked extremely unhappy to be there. Didn't offer to help me as a buying customer extremely rude. They did not make me feel that it was worth spending a single dollar there. Employees should focus on customer service and start greeting and all customers that actually come in the building. You never know who people are and what they are coming to spend. If you're a person of color, l wouldn't recommend spending here. Not only is it a great store to purchase tools, lawnmowers, bicycles, etc. for a great price , but as if needed, it's great resource if you have a need to pawn items. Transactions are handled by Rodney and the staff efficiently, returning phone calls as requested. Did not return until 1/30/22 had her stuff in pawn 3 months at interest rate of $12.50 per month should have only paid $37.50 in interest plus the original loan amount of $50.00 for a total of $87.50. They overcharged to get the earings back by $12.50 and charged a total of $100.00 .tried to talk to them and explain that the math and amount for the contract time for 3 months was not correct and that they were over charging. They insisted on over charging to get the earnings back and we're not so sure the stones haven't been exchanged for different ones wife believes they are different. We are going to have the stones checked against the certificate of grade giving when they were purchased..would not trust this pawn shop and would not recommend using .

Don't know WHICH of the 2 rude disgusting women it was that would respond to me but since Britney seems to want to protect this other co worker as I asked for her name, she BLEW her top over it, I am figuring it is the other girl who i was dealing with. I can back ALL I am saying up. Just to show u PROOF of ONE I will attach this log from my personal phone showing date & time I called them to make this deal for a controller. We had the deal set. While waiting a WEEK, i saw today they had the SAME controller I had the deal made for listed but for more money. I contacted them threw ebay since the phone & FB got me know where & i have proof of that with me CLEARLY IN WRITING STATING IF they accept the OFFER i made them through ebay, I will go in PERSON the same day to pick it up. That was the deal in writing. It was accepted by the owner so I was getting ready to go pick it up & called them to confirm i can still pick it up because I saw someone put it was already shipped when that was NOT part of the deal I sent. I had an eerie feeling when entered their store for the first time. According to the older woman at the counter, their pawnshop policy lends "one third of the item value". However, all my items were brand new (MEANING NEVER USED) and are still in their boxes. The same older woman said to me that their pawnshop "treats all new items as used." I mocked the foolish woman frivolous comment under my breathe. So in other words, this pawnshop would research the cheapest price wherever they can find the same item online or on tag sale and "THEN" select the lowest sale price from the list to calculate a one third quote price offer. The idea is total ludicrous ! The game plan is to lend as little as possible no matter what the item actually costs. I had a Jackery 500 watts power station with dual rechargable power station plus with solar pannels hook up connection. A had a Davanci DVD player with plasma screen. Both items can be use in home or take on long travel road trips. I had a 20" Neotex Gas chainsaw. And lastly, I had a T-Mobil newest model Revvel cellphone. All (4) items are brand new - (NEVER USED) and still in their boxes. The skinny younger pimple face woman tally up the (4) researched priced items and offered me $120 loan. I declined the insulted small change loan offered and walked out from that contentious place of operation. Never bow down to predators. I decided to take the exact same (4) items to Cash America pawnshop in Winter Haven Florida and got a $335 loan. What a huge difference ! The only "proof" they wanted to see since the items are new, was evidence for the purchased items and how it was paid for. Luckily, I had all the purchased proof on my cellphone from both Amazon and Ebay which I bought many months ago as back up spares. I also exhibited my credit card from my wallet to show, (which the pawnshop did not asked me for). I did it for security reason given all that are happening on out there in the world. All I had to do - was to login into each of my account to show the proofs and how all was paid for. Without a doubt from Cash America pawnshop, the manager was very satisified and respectful to me and willing to do the loan without any other question. It is time to put the Lake Wales shady fraudsters out of business. Step on the gas pedal or run as far as you can. Now you where to go.
