I asked for a basic monofocal intraocular lens and was told by dr Brent BELOTTE and the office manager, "Medicare no loner covers the basic monofocal intraocular lens." I called Medicare and they DO cover this basic (non prescription lens. I was given a "price package of $1900 for this basic monofocal intraocular lens package. They refused to break down what the package covered, so I couldn't see what Medicare covered for the lens and what I was paying out of pocket for the lens directly to the doctor's above and beyond Medicare. ,Also their price "packages for specialty prescription lenses are substantially higher than other high end practices in Boca Raton,. BUYER BEWARE! Never pay for a cataract lens "package " without a complete pricing breakdown. Shop specialty prescription lens costs against other reputable practices in your area.

Surgery was performed at a building associate with the hospital but you never go into the actual hospital which is great. My follow up appointments since also have been great. I can also say that my quality-of-life has changed.
