I Loved the old owner your furry baby was done in about 1 1/2 hour and then got to wander with other pups while they waited to be picked up and always looked awesome!!! Not today my poor little girl was put in a crate and it took them 5 hours to groom my 10lb girl then it cost more money then before and they cut bangs on her after I told them NO I keep it in a top pony tail! I have been going to the Paw Spa for many years with my two dogs. Now I am down to only one but I still take "Lulu". I always very happy with the grooming and they are very nice to Lulu. She never comes back traumatized and is always happy, (although she is happy to see me : ) Now I am thrilled that I can leave her with their pet sitting service while I go on a cruise. I love Lulu and I hate for her to be in a small cage. I know that she will be happy while I am on vacation and that makes my vacation even better. Jane G. read more

Be aware that Paw Spa changed owners about a year ago. Although the actual groomer (Julie?) still does a great job, the new owner takes walk-ins and doesn't worry about whether that means your dog gets groomed two hours later than the appointment, or even more. We've had several experiences where we had a solid, way-ahead-of-time, appointments for our dog, and he got bumped because there was a walk-in with a ton of mats. The new owner went ahead and put the matted dog first. The final straw was when we left our pup at 1 pm, stressing again that we had to pick him up by 3. When we got there he wasn't even washed, let alone groomed. They asked us to come back around 4.30, and they had JUST begun grooming him. We didn't get out of there until 6 pm when we said "We're done. Just give us the dog." The new owner doesn't seem to care about long-term relationships. We think she's just trying to take advantage of seasonal visitors without building up a local clientele. read more
