Everything he told me was clear evidence of competence with his advise towards wellness, as she was 12 years then, and had a mass tumour removed from her nose. He not only removed it. He was knowledgeable enough to explain to me how it may or may not unfold. As it's now June of 2021, during a pandemic of unruly predictions of our future, never mind a dogs future in these hectic times. She so far has not only survived the surgery, she will be 13 years this Oct. Shes still loves her walks, and enjoys every morsel of her new lean protein diet, and enjoying life more then ever. As she has a few respiratory issues before the tumour, and with Dr. Redgrave's advise was bang on throughout prior surgery, and after. We take each day like it could possibly be her last, with love, exercise, good diet, and hope she will be with us for more lasting tomorrow's. As for time now has given us 6 more months with my baby, and I appreciate Dr. Redgrave, and all Weste Animal Hospital has done for her, and us! Be patient with this busy Animal Hospital located in Lawrencetown. As they maybe busy for a reason. Thank-you, to all of you, and a very special thank-you to Dr. Redgrave! The goal of working at Petstuff is for these folks to get permanent employment. I personally think it's a fabulous idea and it's what brought me to their store in 2009 for the first time. The employees at Petstuff are very sweet and kind. They love to help you out and always welcome a furry visitor. They've got a good selection of food, toys, grooming supplies, and everything else you could need for your pet. For people who are training for other work opportunities, I am always very impressed at how knowledgeable the employees are. They really do a fantastic job! I haven't had any personal experience with their groomer but have heard from numerous people that they do a great job. The pugs may be visiting that area of the business soon!

I cannot recommend My Cat Sitter's cat boarding service where the cat(s) stays in her home. She is great with the cats, but the room where cats are boarded is not clean - there were stains and old litter on the floor, and must have been a lot of smells left behind by the previous cats who stayed there. The house is also quite loud (two small dogs, plus loud people), so if your cat(s) prefer a quieter place, you may want to reconsider. Our recent experience there resulted in two very stressed out cats, who are still trying to recover a day later. Like I said, the owner is great with the cats, and appreciated the availability on short notice. But because of the cleanliness and loudness, and how stressed our cats were as a result of their stay, I can't recommend this service of My Cat Sitter.

I pull in to the parking lot on time. Then, because I am disabled, took a few minutes to attend to myself before going in. Everyone working there immediately tried to turn us away for being "10 minutes late" even though we weren't, and we'd called ahead. They never told us anything about late penalties. They ended up letting us see a vet who called my service dog "he" the entire time even tho she's obviously a female dog. The patient room was terrifying - it had a scary unmarked door at the back with a peephole pointed at me, leading to some kind of backroom. Creepy. The vet palpated my service dog once, then TOOK MY SERVICE DOG AWAY FROM ME into that backroom, claiming she would get a temperature. She shut the scary, automatically locking door behind her and kept my service dog in that backroom for 15 minutes! You *NEVER* *EVER* separate a service dog from its disabled owner. I sat alone in the patient room, feeling unsafe and didn't know what to do. I never consented to having my service dog taken out of the room. Does it take 15 minutes to get a temperature? Couldn't they take the temperature in front of me, right there in the patient room where patient examinations happen? Did they hurt my service dog?? How will this interfere with her training??? It feels like a higher end pet supply store but is very comparable in price to other pet stores in the area. It does not carry any animals so you're not supporting backyard breeders or poor housing conditions. It has items such as pet food (dog, cat and small animal feed), pet treats, toys, beds, pet carriers, leashes, food bowls, etc. One thing that really stood out about this store, is that it carries items I've never seen anywhere else. The dog toys in stock were toys I've never seen before (I bought a couple for my dog and she's been squeaking them nonstop every since). They have a pretty big collection of dog leashes and harnesses which are modern and stylish. The quality of items seems quite high and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They did not carry my brand of dog food so I will still have to go to my regular pet supply store for that but besides that, I really liked this store. If you're getting bored with seeing the same leashes, toys and items at the pet stores around here, definitely check this place out.
