As others have mentioned, the entrance to this location is odd as one needs to either walk around the building to enter from the back or enter the building and head downstairs to get to Pav's. It's not obvious and a little clunky. We specifically went to Pav's for the Don Drumm sundae bowl promotion and were able to get any ice cream of our choice with that purchase. They told us that the Don Drumm bowls melt the ice cream really fast and they didn't know why, so they were no longer serving sundaes in them. That wasn't a problem for us, but it was odd given they were promoting them for ice cream. They also handed us instructions for chilling the bowls in the freezer before serving sundaes in them at home. It's almost like they didn't read their own instructions (or created them after finding the problem). Either way, not a huge deal. Just a bit strange. The staff was friendly enough and the menu was wide. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, too. Overall, a decent option for ice cream if you are in the area. read more

Same great Pav's ice cream & custard I've had in the past, but finally a location closer to where I live. Woohoo!!!!! The newly opened ice cream & custard shop is decorated in a way an ice cream shop should be. Nostalgic framed pics decorate the modern ice cream colored painted walls. The coffee infused shake was delicious! My spouse enjoyed the red velvet Oreo custard. The staff was friendly. It was a little confusing figuring out where to go in because the multi purpose building is newly constructed, and there wasn't a large front sign on the building. Basically you walk in the front doors and can either take the elevator or stairs downstairs, or walk around the building and through the door on the lower level. Definitely worth stopping here for some great custard and delicious shakes. read more

Very weird setup. The ice cream is completely hidden behind a tall counter. There is barely enough room over the counter to make out the TV screen with the flavor list (would help to actually be able to see what you are selecting). Banana ice cream tasted very artificial. read more

Love their ice cream and milk shakes! The Ghent Rd location is a bit odd in the basement of a random building, but it's worth it.

So we had a store opened in our strip mall and one of their grand opening specials was to have Pav's creamery ice cream truck here. So with your purchase at the new store you could go over and have an ice cream. However, the manager invited us to go over since were in the next-door location. of course we over and got ice cream free of charge and it was delicious ice cream. It was a really great atmosphere, and everybody was having fun from the grand opening to the ice cream . I got the chocolate ice cream that I have a little bits of peanut butter cups inside of it. It was like a creamy peanut butter and it was a nice little surprise. I got the mint chocolate chip one of my favorites and add big Krispy snappy pieces of chocolate, that is just delicious . Never heard of this place until today and glad we came. I came with my grandparents and we really enjoyed! The workers were very very nice. They handled a situation very nicely. My milkshake was very good. The place is very clean. Overall very nice and cute place! read more

I absolutely loved my ice cream. However, the giant bruise on my leg and the dismissive teens working the counter makes me wonder if management even exists at this place of business. We went to the patio. I stood next to a picnic table, and my daughter and her friend sat down at the table across from a couple who were finishing up their treats. When the couple stood, the table flipped, my daughter's sundae flew through the air, and the girls hit the concrete right before my eyes. I tried to do something, but there was no way I could stop this large table from toppling. My daughter had chocolate all over her. We went in and told the staff member what occurred, and even suggested putting a sign on the tables. They did NOTHING. Not one person came outside to see if the girls were ok or to see what actually happened. They were just concerned with selling more ice cream. read more

To start off, this review has nothing to do with Pavs as a company and only pertains to this particular location. We have been to the other locations and have never had an issue and frankly we love the ice cream. I am now writing this review because of two separate occurrences of very poor service and overall quality of product. It's just not the same as other locations. The first scenario was early on so we gave them a pass. We had ordered two separate pints of ice cream. The one pint was normal and as expected. The second pint was the consistency of milk with chunks of cookie in it. Unfortunately we did not realize until we got home and figured they were new so it'd probably figure itself out. The second time we were there, it was honestly not that busy but the store was run incredibly inefficiently. We were 10th in line and waited 27 minutes to even get to the front and another 3 minutes to be talked to at the desk. We were waiting for the flavor of the week. It was at this point that they told us they were out and had been out for most of the night. There were no announcements or signs or anything. We honestly wouldn't have waited that long otherwise. When we requested the flavor of the week, the clerk did not apologize for not having it and actually walked away from the counter. It's a young staff and I get it but simple management changes should be able to better the customer service overall. They're in a customer service business and should understand the social interactions that can make situations like these not quite as off putting. We did end up ordering a different flavor since we had been waiting (we had to wait for the clerk to come back since she walked away). When we finally got our pint, we expressed to the staff that it would be a good idea to put up a sign so others in line know that a flavor is out so if they are waiting for it, they do not waste their time if you don't have it. Instead of apologizing like most customer service businesses, she rolled her eyes, said nothing, and walked away. We totally understand that supply runs out but how you address the customer and interact with the customer does play a roll in customer satisfaction. Instead of simple things being done, staff blew us off and seemed very uncaring/uninterested at all about their job and the customers. We have never had issue with Pavs staff or efficiency or any aspect of business at any other locations. We were very hopeful that this location would be like the others but unfortunately after these 2 occurrences we will not be back to this location. They can't seem to figure out how to run the business well out of this location. read more
