All the usuals for an Asian buffet and they always offer Fried duck! Yum. For €8.90 lunch buffet you absolutely can't beat it! In the evening there is a Mongolen Buffet with "Cook to order" options. With eight large buffet tables, there is something for everyone! The sushi menu is larger in the evening with many more options. The staff is friendly, helpful and quick. Great place to go for Asian!

Unfortunately, as many asian restaurants here, there is an unlimited buffet. It's good for money saving, but it's just not good food...no matter how recently it was prepared, it always lays here for a while. I took the buffet anyway, and wasn't blown away. Good, nothing more. The restaurant pretends to offer "Chinese and Mongolian" food. I didn't look for Mongolian dishes (I am sure there are some), but I clearly saw a large selection of sushis. I am not an asian food expert, but I am pretty sure sushis aren't from Mongolia...All in all, as all restaurants in Regensburg, this restaurant is NOT a Chinese or Mongolian restaurant. It is an "AsiaMix" restaurant, for everyday people who don't care as long as the personnel seems to vaguely come from the other side of the world. The place is huge, and, I must say, pretty well decorated. Such a large area could have looked like a canteen, but they did a pretty good job. It is not luxurious, but it looks good. They also have a large terrace for the summer days (both the restaurant and the terrace are on the 1st floor). Unfortunately, once again, the humongous buffet area lies in the middle. That's not nice. Experience. We went on a very crowded evening, I am fine with that (it's a good sign). But overall, because - again - of the buffet, this was a pretty bad experience. People running all over the place, queuing or moving to and from the food stands. The personnel was careless at best, stressed (and stressful) for the most part. Sub-standard, even for an Asian restaurant. I am willing to believe they do a better job when the restaurant is quieter though. This is just another undetermined vaguely Asian restaurant in Regensburg. It's nothing more, nothing less. Why the 2 stars? Because the food was ok. There is nothing much better around, so sadly, I may visit again.

In a couple of minutes, the food is brought to your table. What was surprising, Exotic meats: ostrich; duck; lamb; rabbit; lamb and zebra!!!!! Tried panang curry, it was ok. Flames tandoori was pretty good as was spicy garlic. But if you want some heat order something off the menu, Bombay sauce! It will kick you in the face like a Carolina reaper. Good place.

Someone in the group…read moresuggested we try this place and not sure what happened when we booked but, we ended up with two tables of 6 instead of one table for 12. Few things about this place that annoyed me initially: 1) Revolving entrance door - I am not at an airport but a restaurant. 2) Pets not allowed - no sign on the door and apparently it's on their website - sorry websites are so last season ;-) 3) Slow service - its a buffet but waiting ages for drinks and table service is tiring 4) for a buffet style place having tables where half the table has to get up everytime someone in the middle wants to go get food - poor design :-( There is a food buffet and you get to choose 1,2 or unlimited trips to the buffet. There are about 8-9 sauces you can pick from sweet, mild, nutty or spicy. You decide what sauce you want each time and go up to the buffet and decide what ingredients you want from vegetables, noodles, fish, meats and herbs. You then hand it to the chefs who cook it with the sauce you have chosen and it arrives back at your table when it's cooked. The choice of ingredients is quite good and there are quite a few varieties of seafood and meats including things like camel, elk, squid, ostrich and so on besides the normal choices like salmon, beef, lamb, pork and duck etc. Food here tastes pretty good and the Chili Garlic sauce I picked first was the hottest sauce on offer and it was nice and punchy. The satay sauce was also quite ok but the mango maracuja sauce was too sweet for me. All in all an ok experience I would probably repeat but on a quieter night. I have been to Mongolian BBQ's before, which were quite different and actually had things like grilled meats, which you don't get here at all. Why its called a BBQ is a mystery to me :-) Something below I found whilst looking for proper Mongolian BBQ and explains everything about this place.....;-)) Mongolian barbecue (Chinese: 蒙古烤肉; pinyin: Měngg koròu) is a stir fried dish that was developed in Taiwanese restaurants in the 1970s. Meat and vegetables are cooked on large, round, solid iron griddles at temperatures of up to 300 °C (572 °F). Despite its name, the cuisine is not Mongolian, and is only very loosely related to barbecue

This restaurant offer sushi(not very good), bbq(taste good but not aesthetically pleasing), "Chinese" dishes that one would expect from a Chinese owned restaurant whose main customers are non Asians, good ice cream and dessert selections (they have white and milk chocolate fondue!) What I like the lost about this restaurant is their selection for seafood. In the country where everyone sells pork & carbs, I really really really really realllllyyyyy enjoyed the seafood selections. Though not as much as I would like, but beggar can't be choosers. If I were ever craving for ample amount of seafood and chocolate fondue again, I would go back there. But I gotta watch my waistline, so probably not.
