As advertised. Coffee in a house. It is cute as heck and was a lovely discovery. They did a brisk business - people were in and out the whole time I was there (I took over a corner table for a meeting) - for a mid-morning Friday destination that is a bit off the beaten path. I had a latte topped with a decorative heart pattern and my colleague had a fancy coffee. We did not opt for pastries. I will go back to try a regular coffee to judge completely and try a fancy toast (topped with ricotta, pesto, spinach and honey... or bacon?? - I heard great things). There will be a ridiculous daily coffee treat with a silly name, syrup and whipped cream - if that calls you, go crazy.

Iced pistachio matcha with vanilla cold foam. Delicious!

This coffee house is a must try. They have a large selection of flavors to customize your lattes or teas. We also did the BYOB (build your own breakfast) and ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese, spinach, bacon and pesto on the side. The total was $15 but left a tip. It's Starbucks prices but much better flavor.

Many delicious and always changing flavors on the Paula's board!

Very welcoming cafe. The drink menu had pretty much anything you could think of (with a very long list of flavour syrups, including plenty of sugar-free), and there were lots of good-looking baked goods in their display. We were taking a minute to decide what to order because there was so much to choose from, but the cashier was patient and friendly. I got a tuna melt, a banana half moon cookie, and an Italian cream soda with salted egg yolk syrup. The salted egg flavour, if you are not familiar with it, tastes a little similar to eggnog or Irish cream. I really like the flavour and it worked pretty well in the cream soda and made for a unique drink. I also had a few sips of my dad's lemon cream matcha. The matcha wasn't the strongest, but with the lemon cream flavour, it was a very pleasant drink. The tuna melt was great; I liked the big pickle pieces in the tuna salad. I like their style of half moon cookie - the chocolate frosting/ganache was really good, and the banana flavour was nice. I'd love to come here again next time I'm in town!
