Paula is amazing. She was selling a beautiful home out of my price range.,I thought it was worth a shot to offer what I could in case the owners wanted to sell quickly but at a lower price. Paula could have laughed and hung up. Instead she was very kind and said it was very likely too low of an offer but that she would present it. She took the time to show the beautiful home to me and explained that there were a few financing options that I had never heard of that might make it possible to borrow more. She ended to selling the home for $80,000 higher than what I could afford which is great for the sellers. I was really impressed with her professionalism and that she took the time to educate a random caller offering too low of a price as a long shot. I think I've interacted with over 50 real estate agents over the last five years and more often than not they've been ethical disasters. One person at an open house at a gorgeous home was trying to steal the buyer in front of me away from her own agent who was too sick to be at the open house that day. The realtor wanted to make double commission and said she knew exactly what level she could lowball the seller she was representing. The woman said she would never be disloyal to the agent who had been showing her homes all summer. Sadly I've seen that multiple times. Each time I think of how the sellers who trusted this person probably have no idea that their agent is unethical and untrustworthy and driving away potential offers with their greed. Paula is the opposite. Her clients were lucky to be represented by her and I hope they know that. read more

My friend highly recommended Paula when I had aspirations of moving to the Thousand Oaks area. I admit I instantly liked Paula's energy and enthusiasm. She's smart, knowledgeable, experienced, kind, patient, supportive but also no nonsense and firm. Her qualities were an excellent balance for someone like me. When we finally started working together, things moved at light speed. She went to work! She got me viewings. She was extremely responsive and communicative with calls, texts and emails. Her service was second to none. She explained each step and made the process clear and easy. Suffice to say, I was under contract within 8 days of my first conversation with her. We beat 25 offers for a house that was on the market for less than two days. Paula was instrumental in making that happen. She was well-liked and respected by the seller's agent for her diligence and experience which put us over the top. I know this because the seller's agent told me himself. Of course it didn't surprise me at all! Moreover, Paula made me feel important and understood the gravity of buying a home. She guided me through the stresses and psychological gymnastics required to be successful in this extremely competitive environment. Her confidence carried over to me. I am very grateful to her and I appreciate all her hard work and experience that helped make my dream happen. Thank you Paula! read more

Paula Reavlin is a rock star real estate agent in LA. She has just the right combination of tenacity, wit, experience and charm to guide you through every of the sometimes very arduous home buying process.  Paula knows the LA housing market inside and out and I cannot imagine working with anyone else to help our family find and purchase our forever home. We met Paula 3 years ago, when she worked with us to find our family a rental home. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process.  We knew that when it came time to purchase a home, that she would be the only person that we would trust to help us do so. A few months ago, we called her to let her know that we were ready to buy. With limited inventory and interest rates at record lows, Paula helped us to navigate the crazy LA housing market where most homes were selling well above the asking price. After putting in offers on a few houses and being out bid every single time, we were thoroughly discouraged and nearly ready to give up. But giving up was not an option for Paula.  Ever resourceful, she began reaching out to realtors who had recently removed  listings to see if the sellers were still interested in selling.  She spoke with several potential sellers before someone finally agreed to show us their home. We fell in love with the very first home we saw and we knew right away that this was our forever home. In the end and even during this very crazy and uncertain time,  Paula's preparation and tireless effort, made all the difference in ensuring a smooth inspection and closing. We are so lucky to have had her on our side. read more

Paula was recommended to me by a trusted friend and was the best real estate guide I could have ever asked for in this rollercoaster of a housing market. As a first time home buyer, I had endless questions about the home buying process. She was not only very knowledgeable about the industry but was very prompt to get back to me. Paula took the time to visit almost every house I wanted to look at with me and was very honest about potential things to look out for at properties we visited so there wouldn't be any surprises down the line. Paula was very hands on during the offer and negotiation process, the bulk of which happened over the holidays with both of us in and out of town! Her dedication to her clients and their experience really sets her apart. After two months of looking she found me a wonderful property and I couldn't be happier! read more

Paula was just stunning in all things. Calm. Collected. Anticipated our needs. Gave great advice. Moving out of our family home was a sensitive mood. It certainly was not my intent to sell during a pandemic, but listing in January 2020 would have required a crystal ball. Such timing might require canceling the listing or curling up in a ball and crying. Thankfully, I had Paula as my realtor and did not have to resort to either scenario! She worked diligently to guide me through the process, even as we were all learning to navigate safety protocols for open houses and managing anxieties about the market. In these highly unusual times, I truly benefited from the confident approach Paula brings to her clients. read more

Buying a home can be very intimidating, especially when it's your first time going through the process and the world is in the middle of a pandemic. We couldn't have asked for a better guide than Paula. She helped us from start to finish and beyond, making herself available to us whenever we could find time to see houses in our ever-changing work schedules. She answered all of our questions, even the stupid ones, but never made us feel stupid for asking them. Paula is honest and straightforward. She doesn't gloss over any issues you may be having and she's not at all pushy about whether or not you should be making an offer on any particular house. When it's the right house, you'll know, and Paula will be there to help you through each step along the way. read more

Working with Paula was nothing short of amazing. She was able to help us house-hunting noobs through every step of the way. My husband and I were looking at houses just to get excited about just the PROSPECT of buying a house, still feeling like the reality would be a stretch. Paula turned our dreams into a reality, as half a year later we would become homeowners during an incredibly competitive market! We would send her listing after listing, and she would take us to several listings a week. She would keep us posted on listings we may like, and offer much needed guidance and advice. Paula is, by far, the best realtor in LA. She is truly full service. She helped us sell our gorgeous Studio City home and move to Bell Canyon. Neither transaction turned out to be easy, but she was on it every step of the way. She handled everything easily and professionally and got the job done. She is a realtor/therapist/badass who is on top of every detail of the transaction (and if you know real estate, you know there are a LOT of details to keep track of!). We could not have done it without her expertise. She is there every step of the way. We could not have been happier using Paula to sell and buy! Thank you, thank you!! read more

My husband and I stumbled upon Paula by accident, but we're so glad we did. We found out very quickly that the housing market in Los Angeles was not easy, but Paula helped us power through and ultimately helped us close on our home. She remained responsive and professional throughout the entire process and we never felt like we weren't a priority. Additionally, Paula didn't just push us into homes to make a sale- she would speak up when she felt something might not be a right fit for us which I appreciated. My husband and I bought our first home with Paula. We began looking in mid 2013 and didn't purchase until the beginning of 2015. Throughout that whole time Paula stuck with us, showed us home after home, answered all of our questions and was quite simply invaluable to us. She is extremely organized, diligent, and is not intimidated during the negotiation process. Her interpersonal skills are top notch. We bought a probate home that had quite a bit of deferred maintenance. She was at our home during the entire inspection process and made sure the repairs were done. She checked the progress at the house regularly and then rechecked; making sure the work was done correctly. After we moved in she continued to help us out in anyway we needed. We could tell that she truly cared for us and our happiness. With her expertise, negotiation skills and diligence I believe she's one of the best agents around. read more
