Came for eyebrow and eyelash tints as well as an eyelash lift, and was the worst decision ever! Had tears in my eyes walking out of the place because they thought they looked amazing and didn't care that I wasn't happy with how it turned out! She told me it would be light blonde, which clearly wasn't the case, and it was stained on my skin and not clean at all! Glue was stuck on my eyelids all day and I couldn't get it off at all!! Could seriously not drive home without pulling over to try to pull the glue off to see. See before and after below I also should have received a half off discount for the day I went on, and this was not granted for me as they "forgot"

Ren, Ren, Ren...!!! Transiting texture hair care, ask for Ren! (Lauren) I moved to Springfield, Missouri almost three years ago in November of 2016. Not really knowing what I wanted to do with my hair, I had been wearing a short pixie cut for almost 45 years, but decided I would do something different so I had protective style braids in my hair for the past 2 1/2 years. I took take them out and start wearing my natural hair. Not really knowing how to take care of my hair. I called the Paul Mitchell School and they recommended Lauren for my appointment. Lauren aka (Ren) to my hair rescue, she knew how to take care of my hair with protein and hydration treatments and a scalp treatment. Ren walk me through each step and trea. I could have not have ask for a better hair care professional, in all my years of not wanting to get my hair done, I now get it done almost every week, by Ren. She has education me on how to take care of my hair. I recommended Ren to any one with texture, kinky, course hair. I am her number one fan and customer. J. Blair

I booked an eyelash extension appointment for 1PM today, she didn't start on me until 1:45 because she got her appointments messed up, she told me she doesn't like to do lashes & isn't an expert but the school requires them to complete a certain amount of sets. If you know anything about lashes, you know that the stylist is supposed to separate the lash and put the extension on each lash individually, she just sat them on top of my lash line. She said she was done and I asked her to fill them in more & she told me she actually had to leave at 3:30 but could get someone to finish them for her. Someone else came in to finish and had to call the teacher in to separate some of the extensions that were glued to my bottom lashes. This are the results from 4:15, 3 and a half hours later for this "full set" . Lashes were stuck on top of my lid & when I went to pull one off my lid. Groups came off. Never again.

Worst pedicure ever! The girl didn't even know what the hell she was doing! And my feet are stained blue! Not impressive at all!

I had Benj and they were incredible, my hair Ive always had issues with it being flat but they were able to make my hair more volumized even unstyled. overall the atmosphere was so friendly, and I will be returning!

They don't seem to promote professionalism. There were two people sitting at the reception desk, one was on the phone (the instructor) the other, possibly a student just sat there looking for at least a minute before finally greeting me and checking me in. I had an appointment so my wait up front was brief fortunately. I'm thinking the student who did my hair earned plenty of class credits as I am the first ever textured hair client in her chair for wash, blow dry and flat iron. The very first. We were both nervous. From my one experience here the students aren't taught much about professionalism with their clients. She was pleasant as could be but never once asked about the products I use on my hair, how I typically style it or anything. I was pleased that the instructor stayed very available to her for my service. They used Redken One United products on my hair. As I'm accustomed to Design Essentials line of products so this was new for me. The cons: 1)My stylists was equipped with only one size flat iron. 2) The client chairs are strangely close, me and the client in the next chair almost knocked knees several times. Not kidding. 3) Dead quiet, like being in a library, no music going and very little conversation. 4) Noticeable lack of professionalism.

Since I am all about education, and have professional experience in cosmetology, I wasn't upset when I didn't get exactly what I requested with my haircut. However, on a second visit to get some issues taken care of, I dealt with a rude staff member who blamed me for not communicating the hairstyle I wanted effectively to the student. Additionally, during this second visit, when I requested that my hair be cut "wet" to fix the problem, she "huffed" at me. Before she made any cuts to my hair I told her I didn't have a good feeling about this and told her I changed my mind. It took a lot of guts for me to do that as I am not a confrontational person. She replied, "I think that is a good idea" took off my cape and walked away. I don't know why I was treated this way. I smiled, I was respectful and courteous. But reflecting on it now, even my phone conversation to make the appointment was weird. When I stated, "I could cut this long piece off myself, but since you are a school, I figure we might as well use it as a learning experience for the student", the reply was, "I disagree. We are a recognized salon. Perhaps you can bring a picture of the style you want when you come to your appointment." Again, I said it wasn't a big deal, just a long piece that needs to be cut off. I never saw the student when I went back in, only a staff member. How will their students ever learn if not given the opportunity to acknowledge and fix their own mistakes, or learn the value of good customer service? This was the weirdest experience I have ever had. It was awkward, uncomfortable, and full of drama. I don't know what the normal procedure is for the school when a customer has an issue, but I was expecting to see the student who cut my hair the first time, and pay for the shampoo, haircut, and style again. I have never experienced contempt from a business that I am giving my money to and supporting; just....bizarre! Good customer service would have kept me going back to the school. I want to continue to support the profession and give students needed practice, but I will now drive the extra 30 miles to Camdenton's Central College of Cosmetology school to do so.
